A truly quiet retreat worthy of being called the ultimate villa—so peaceful you can hear only birdsong. I was able to relax deeply and feel completely at ease. The food was exceptionally high quality; the corn consommé soup and the eggplant-and-tempeh caprese were unbelievably delicious. I bought the flower-shaped cheese on top of the caprese at a roadside station. Thank you again for taking such great care of us.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

I often stay at international Hotels these days and usually come home impressed wherever I go, but this place was in a class of its own. Since the Hotel has only recently opened, it’s natural that the Facilities are spotless, but the hospitality was truly outstanding—really! My friend and I even promised we would definitely come back. Breakfast at Gion Kawakami and the rooftop bar were both excellent as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

With this visit, I have successfully completed my 8th stay, and have now completed two full rounds of all four venues included in the “Gastronomy Plan.” Compared to when I first stayed, the staff’s service feels even more composed, and I truly sense that an excellent environment has been established. The quality of the club lounge has also improved significantly, making my stay even more comfortable. I am scheduled to stay again next month and am very much looking forward to it. It is wonderful to see the General Manager and all staff members growing day by day as you aim to become one of Japan’s top Hotels. This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. The food was delicious, the Onsen water was silky-smooth, the staff were great, everything in the fridge was free, and the price was reasonable. The view was beautiful and very relaxing. Also, since I love drinks, I was thrilled by the wide selection of rice shochu... Thank you very much! I’ll definitely visit again.

I visited Hiiragiya again. I had made a Reservation for a Room with a bath and toilet, but I was first shown to a Room without them. It was still very comfortable, but when I asked to Check Reservation, I was told there had been a mistake, and you kindly arranged for me to stay in the Room associated with author Yasunari Kawabata. Thank you for your thoughtful care. Once again, I enjoyed Kyoto’s summer flavors—chilled edamame soup topped with sea urchin, pike conger sashimi, grilled tilefish with crispy scales, jellied soft-shelled turtle broth, Kamo eggplant with sesame sauce, and more—then fully enjoyed Yoiyama and fell asleep thinking of Mr. Kawabata before continuing on to the Gion Festival. Kyoto is changing little by little, but this is the beauty of Japan—and the spirit of Japanese hospitality—that I hope will be passed on to future generations.

This Hotel was the very purpose of our trip to Kagawa Prefecture. We didn’t do any sightseeing at all, but from the bottom of my heart I’m so glad we came. Throughout the entire Facility, we could feel the owners’ attention to detail and refined sense of beauty in every corner, and at the same time we were truly grateful for their warm hospitality toward guests. Vintage and modern, Japan and Europe—things that are completely different were seamlessly combined through their sensibility. The interior design, the cuisine, and even its presentation were all wonderful and deeply inspiring. The old sofa in our Room had real character, was very comfortable to sit on, and matched perfectly with the modern furniture. Over time, the linen has developed such a beautiful color! I could really understand why the owner is so particular about that sofa. Also, since I’ve been considering buying the chair at the writing desk myself, I was happy to be able to try how it feels to sit in it. Everything they have selected was fascinating and exciting. Above all, their personalities are wonderful—we definitely want to come back again. (A stylish husband and an adorable wife!!) We’d love to stay in other Rooms as well, and see the garden in a different season too. For us, this was a truly meaningful encounter that brought new insights. It was a wonderful stay. I hope to visit again someday. If I could make one request, I would have preferred the bedside water to be a Japanese brand as well.

This was our second stay. Since our third son (our beloved dog) joined our family five years ago, we only choose Accommodations where we can stay together, so we’ve stayed at many pet-friendly places around the Kanto area. With new Accommodations opening all the time, there are only a few we’ve ever revisited—but this one is exceptionally satisfying, so we returned during the Obon holiday period. With pet-friendly Accommodations, there’s often something you have to compromise on, but this place is almost perfect. The balcony of our guest Room had an open-air Onsen bath, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and a relaxation area with a shower—plus an open-air bath for dogs. Inside the Room, there was a theater room with two massage chairs and a dining room where you can enjoy meals in your Room. The French cuisine served there is truly delicious. Recently, more and more Accommodations have excellent Facilities, but I don’t know any other place where you can enjoy food of this quality in your Room with your dog. Once again, everything was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for the best Accommodation to stay with your dog, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This time, I stayed in a Heritage balcony Room. I wondered if it might be too hot this season, but the evening breeze was pleasant, and I was able to relax with drinks from room service. For dinner, I dined at Toh-Ka-Lin, and the next morning I had breakfast at Nouvelle Epoque. Everything—from delicious dining to the gym, spa, and pool—was available within the Hotel, so I could truly unwind and enjoy a genuinely luxurious stay. The entire property was clean and quiet throughout, and the staff’s hospitality struck the perfect balance: not too close or too distant, yet always attentive with thoughtful care. An unexpected issue came up during my stay, but even then the Hotel team responded with kindness and meticulous consideration. It reminded me once again of how exceptional Japanese Hotels are—especially Okura. I would love to visit again.

Everything was excellent—no complaints at all. It was a truly memorable Hotel. The food in particular was outstanding; it may have been the best of any place we’ve stayed so far. Not only was it delicious, but the portions were generous—we’re big eaters, and even we left completely full. The Room was also wonderful, with a lovely view of Lake Biwa. Simply the best. To prove it, as soon as we got home we made another Reservation for the crab course—it's six months away, but we’re already excited to enjoy your料理 again. This was the Accommodation I had wanted to stay at on my first trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Accommodation was very clean and quiet, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, and the view of the reflecting pool from the terrace was beautiful. The open-air bath in the Room had free-flowing natural hot spring water, which felt wonderful. At the bar lounge, I enjoyed complimentary drinks while chatting with the staff and had a great time. I highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone looking to spend a relaxing stay for a special anniversary or simply to unwind and forget about everyday life.

This was our eighth stay. Ever since our first visit, the Room, the private bath, and the surroundings of the Hotel have been very comfortable, and the meals are delicious. We stay about once a year, and it has become something my wife and I truly look forward to. This time as well, the food was excellent—especially the Chateaubriand, which was outstanding. Although it was rainy and we didn’t go to Mount Koya this time, we were able to see exceptionally beautiful flowering peach trees and weeping cherry blossoms around Sanso Amanosato.

We stayed here overnight while traveling back home. My child loves cars, so seeing engines and car bodies everywhere was exciting in itself, and we were able to spend a fulfilling, luxurious time. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal at a relaxed pace on the balcony, feeling the pleasant breeze while watching the circuit.

Thank you very much for the Shuttle Service from the airport. I’m not familiar with the area and can’t drive, so it was a huge help. The Room had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and the large sofa made it easy to unwind while enjoying the view. The meals were beautifully presented on lovely tableware, and they were served in perfect timing to match our pace—thank you so much. As expected of Otsuka Pharmaceutical, the hospitality was truly outstanding. I personally love Oronamin C and Fibe-Mini, so I was delighted by the complimentary drinks in the refrigerator. The Otsuka Pharmaceutical toner and serum provided in the bath felt wonderful to use, and I’m considering purchasing them. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

With its rich history and tradition, along with the pleasant hospitality of the young staff, we were able to spend a truly comfortable time. I have heard that maintaining a historic building involves many challenges, but I sincerely hope it will be preserved just as it is for years to come. We stayed here for a marriage proposal. When I contacted the staff in advance about arranging a surprise, they kindly accommodated my request, allowing me to create the ideal proposal. We booked a Plan that included access to the Gold Lounge, and every meal was absolutely delicious. Thoughtful touches were evident throughout our stay, making it the most luxurious and memorable experience of my life.

All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

I stayed at 3rd HOUSE Inamuragasaki East Wing. This time I visited with friends. We borrowed BBQ equipment and enjoyed a relaxed meal while taking in the seaside atmosphere. It felt like a real luxury—time like this is hard to make as adults. The best part of this Accommodation is, without a doubt, how well-equipped it is. The rooftop has a sauna and a jacuzzi, and the jacuzzi after a proper sweat in the sauna—while enjoying the fresh air—is simply unbeatable. Spending time there while feeling the Inamuragasaki breeze truly feels like an escape from everyday life. The second-floor jacuzzi was also fantastic, with completely different vibes during the day and at night. We lost track of time as our conversations flowed. The Room felt open and airy, and as an entire-home rental it offers excellent privacy. It’s easy to relax without worrying about others, making it perfect not only for friends but also for families or couples. An Accommodation where you can enjoy both “the luxury of doing nothing” and “the luxury of having fun together.” Combined with the Kamakura/Inamuragasaki location, it was such a wonderful stay that I’d love to return in another season.
