I always stay here on business trips. The Facility is clean, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Above all, the breakfast is delicious. The selection isn’t large, but I always end up eating too much. Most of all, you can’t beat this quality at this price—I wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

I decided to visit Fukuroda Falls and made a Reservation the day before. I quickly received an answer to my question about whether the Room had a washlet, which reassured me (it does). The Hotel feels a bit dated, but the Room was clean. I usually try not to worry about it, but I was slightly bothered by noise from the next room, so I lowered my rating by one. Overall, I was satisfied.

We stay here every summer as an annual tradition. Ever since our kids were around 3–4 years old, summer has meant the lakeside pool—we spend two full days playing nonstop. The pool gradually gets deeper, so when they were little we could play together in the shallow area, and now we can sit in the shallow section and keep an eye on them. The slide is also a favorite with our kids. The rooms are built like apartments, so in midsummer it feels like “Outside?!” right after getting off the elevator—but for us that’s part of the lakeside experience and doesn’t bother us at all. If anything, it makes us think, “Ah, we’re back at Lakeside again this year.” Meals and the bath require going outside to another building a short distance away, but even that is something our family enjoys. We’re very satisfied with the food, and the bath feels absolutely wonderful. We have no complaints at all, which is why we come every year. None of the Hotel staff have ever made us feel uncomfortable—we’ve been coming for nearly 10 years and truly think they’re outstanding. Our kids are older now, but they still say they want to come again next year!! So we hope to keep staying here for many years to come.

Outside peak seasons, it offers excellent value for money.

I stayed for business. The building itself feels a bit dated with age, but it was very well cleaned, and above all the breakfast was truly delicious, so I was extremely satisfied. I’ve stayed at many business hotels, and this had the best breakfast! There was a great selection unique to Fukui Prefecture: Fukui-grown Koshihikari rice, Fukui-grown pickled plums, miso-braised mackerel, sauce katsudon-style cutlet, Echizen soba, and more. Even the shredded cabbage in the salad tasted noticeably fresh. It’s on the top floor with a great panoramic view. Air conditioning: It’s centrally controlled so I initially worried it might be warm, but it cooled properly—no issues. Amenities: If you need them, you can pick them up in the lobby. Refrigerator: Cools well. It was already turned on when I arrived. Parking: Not very large, but I was able to park.

In early June, we stayed at Kuju-san in search of fireflies. Dinner at this Accommodation was amazing! Freshly cooked, steaming rice was served with a smile at just the right times as our meal progressed, and we could really feel their thoughtful hospitality. The portions were so generous we thought we couldn’t finish, but we ate almost everything!! Even the staff were surprised!!! After dinner, the fireflies welcomed us with a jewel-like sparkle—an unforgettable natural spectacle that made us forget everyday life. Truly moving, again and again... When we asked the staff for advice about our trip the next day, they kindly offered helpful suggestions, making it a memorable journey. This was an Accommodation that is truly kind to travelers. The room was very clean and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were delicious, and the large public bath and open-air bath offered both hotter and slightly warm options, making it easy to enjoy for extended periods. Despite being early September, cicadas were chirping, creating a nostalgic atmosphere to savor the end of summer while relaxing in the open-air bath. Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable experience!

Honestly, I felt the Room was a bit small. However, with breakfast included and a large public bath available, the value for money is excellent. The front desk staff were very welcoming at check-in, and I had a pleasant stay. (This rating also reflects their neat appearance and warm smile.)

I booked early, so the price was very reasonable, and the facilities were more than sufficient. I was very satisfied. While many hotels are moving toward unmanned operations, the front desk staff here were kind and helpful—this is how a hotel should be. The late-night ramen and the ochazuke at breakfast were both excellent. It made my stay in Hakodate truly worthwhile. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. Once again, I was able to relax and rest well. The Room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. (The pudding is delicious!)

Since there are no convenience stores between Bingo-Shobara Station and the Hotel, I chose the breakfast-included plan. There were several rice cookers, but they were small household-sized ones, and it didn’t feel like you could get seconds. I think it would be better to use larger rice cookers so guests can have refills.

While looking for a Hotel near Kumagaya Station, I chose this one because it was the cheapest and had great Reviews. I expected a somewhat retro Hotel, but since I was mainly focused on price for just one night, I didn’t have any particular expectations. However, just as the Reviews said, the moment I entered the Hotel it smelled wonderful, and all of the staff (mostly older women) were truly kind and pleasant. Their thoughtful attention and friendly words came so naturally that I was genuinely impressed!! The Room was more spacious than I expected and very well cleaned, so the age of the building didn’t bother me at all. I’ve stayed at several Hotels in front of or near the station before, but if you’re staying with No Meals Included, this is by far my top recommendation! I probably won’t be going to Kumagaya again, but I wish I had stayed at this Hotel sooner. Every staff member I met in the Hotel left a great impression—such a wonderful place. Thank you very much!

This was my second stay. I first visited at the end of July. The Onsen and meals were wonderful, and above all, the front desk staff’s hospitality (especially a female staff member, Ms. A) was outstanding. I was truly impressed by their consistently warm smiles and courteous service, so I booked again right away. This time as well, the Onsen and meals were excellent! And Ms. A’s hospitality felt warmer than at any luxury Hotel—her smile was a perfect 10/10—and it made for a truly relaxing stay. Thank you very much! Also, right after check-in, there is complimentary coffee and shaved ice available in the lounge 24 hours a day. It’s a great perk not only for kids but for adults too, so don’t miss it! With the meals, the Onsen, and the staff’s hospitality… this is a cozy, home-like Accommodation where you can truly unwind at ease, so I definitely plan to return again soon!

When I thought of Naeba Prince Hotel, I associated it with Fuji Rock and Yuming’s concerts, but the Onsen water quality was exceptionally good. It has a different type of spring water than Yuzawa, and although it was far from our Room, I went in many times. It’s worth visiting just for this Onsen alone. The staff were all friendly, and even at checkout the front desk staff chatted with us about various things—it was fun and convincing! My friend and I said, “As expected from a Prince Hotel.” This is a Hotel I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for taking care of us.

This has long been one of my favorite Accommodations, and the renovation has made it even more refined. The meals are no longer all-you-can-eat, but the kaiseki cuisine was still very satisfying. The open-air bath is outstanding.

We stayed as a family of five, and the hospitality was outstanding. Although they call it a welcome drink, the drink corner was available almost all day throughout our Hotel stay, and until dinner there was even unlimited sparkling wine. In addition to the dagashi (Japanese snack) buffet service and amenities such as lotion, they also offered rentals like a baby formula maker and board games—everything you could ask for. The manga corner wasn’t just about the number of volumes; it also had sofas and cozy hideaway-like spaces, so we spent blissful time there. There are sofa reading areas and kids’ spaces throughout the building, making it truly relaxing.\nThe breakfast and dinner buffets didn’t use luxury ingredients, but there were many delicious, well-thought-out dishes. Alcohol was also all-you-can-drink, and we could compare local sake varieties. The kids-only buffet area and automatic pancake oven were fun, and we also enjoyed local specialties such as hoto hot pot and Fujinomiya yakisoba.\nThere were many international guests as well, but plenty of multilingual signs were posted around the Hotel, and everyone followed Japanese manners, so there was no stress at all.\nBecause the building has some age to it, it had a Showa-retro feel; however, Facility such as the toilets were updated to modern models, so it didn’t bother us at all for a family trip.\nWe would love to come again with our whole family.

Our stay for three men, all turning 72 this year, was very enjoyable. - We could park right in front of the Hotel, and the lift ticket counter is connected to the front desk. The 1-day pass was inexpensive (about half the price of other ski resorts), and Accommodation guests also received a 500-yen discount. - Both the Room and the large public bath were spacious, so we could relax. The dinner buffet included 1 hour of all-you-can-drink, and although there was no all-you-can-eat crab option, dishes were replenished quickly when they ran out, which we enjoyed. - A few points to consider: the air conditioner in the Room was quite noisy, and there were no chairs in the ski locker room. Also, the shop’s refrigerator only had ice cream and no ice; unfortunately, a store diagonally across from the parking lot had sold out of ice as well. All of the Southeast Asian staff at both reception and the restaurant were very pleasant—thank you for a wonderful ski trip.
