It’s close to the highway bus stop at the Hachijo Exit, so I always stay here. Since the renovation, there’s no step into the bathroom, and the bathtub is set lower, making it easier to use. The amenities are well stocked. It’s also helpful that you can drip coffee in the lobby and drink it freely. Breakfast isn’t crowded, and there’s everything you need—bread, salad, boiled eggs, yogurt, soup, milk and juice, and even curry. The Room is clean and has a chair and a place to put your suitcase, which is very convenient.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. The excellent Reviews and the spacious Room were what convinced us to book. For my husband’s celebration, you provided such warm hospitality that he was delighted, and our whole family was truly moved. The property was very clean, all the staff were pleasant (especially at dinner), and we were able to enjoy local dishes—everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied! The night view was beautiful. We would love to stay with you again on another occasion. Thank you very much for your thoughtful kindness.

From the sophisticated design at the entrance to the Kyoto-style streets leading to the accommodation, everything lifted my spirits. Inside, it felt like a cozy home with its two-story structure, making it very relaxing. I stayed with a dinner and breakfast included plan. First, I enjoyed unlimited Kyoto sweets and drinks in the lounge, then indulged in a meat-lover's dream dinner. For a late-night snack, I had an egg sandwich, and in the morning, I savored a luxurious and hearty breakfast before leaving fully satisfied. I regret not arriving hungrier! The complimentary drinks provided in the room were all delicious—one night wasn't enough to enjoy them all. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, making this stay truly outstanding. I would love to stay here again if given another opportunity!

Our second stay, following last year. Last time we chose a no-meals Plan and brought meat, vegetables, and other ingredients from home to enjoy a BBQ on the terrace. The terrace had a large gas grill, plus a table and chairs always set up. It was pouring rain outside, but the space was completely sheltered from wind and rain, so we could BBQ comfortably as if we were indoors. This time, since we planned to spend dinner with friends’ family in Omura City, we chose a breakfast-only Plan. Right after arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and provided careful guidance and explanations about the Facility, while our dog enjoyed playing ball in the outdoor yard. Last time we booked a Room with a large garden but couldn’t use it due to heavy rain, so this time we chose one without a garden. Even so, there was still enough yard space for ball play, and there was also a dog run next to the Accommodation building. In addition to an indoor hinoki bath in the Room, there was even an open-air bath, so we could relax in the baths after returning from dinner and again in the morning. For breakfast, more than enough ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator, along with plenty of seasonings and tableware—so we made a luxurious morning meal at our preferred time and in our own way. For reference: my daughter had cheese toast with grilled bacon plus a fresh vegetable salad, yogurt, and soup; my husband had hot sandwiches with fried eggs plus salad and coffee—everyone ate what they liked and was very satisfied. One note: there were thorny plants growing in parts of the yard and dog run; it can be dangerous unless removed before letting dogs play. We ended up trimming some ourselves while saying it would be nice if it were mowed shorter overall. Even so, it’s an excellent Facility—we will definitely stay again.

The view from the 4th floor opened up to a bright blue sky and ocean—I couldn’t help but gasp. I swam in the Room’s pool, had a beer on the balcony deck chair (everything in the fridge is free), soaked in the bathtub while gazing at the sea again, and enjoyed champagne in the lounge—every day felt wonderfully relaxing. For dinner we went to Soba Miyako, Shigira Blue, and the newly opened Chinese restaurant Kohakuro; all were delicious. My husband and I are already talking about when we should come back next. We’ll likely be staying with you again, so thank you in advance.

This was my first stay. The view from the Room was wonderful, right by Lake Hamana. Since it was summer, we brought handheld fireworks, and they kindly lent us a bucket and candles so we could enjoy them by the lakeside. They also provide a designated trash disposal area, so I highly recommend it. We chose the Plan with dinner and breakfast included and enjoyed buffet-style meals with a wide variety of options, including gyoza and eel—both my spouse and I were very satisfied. On the second day, an unexpected issue came up and we returned to the Hotel late at night; the staff assisted us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

I’ve often stayed at compact, functional Hotels lately, but I was truly impressed to stay at a full-fledged Onsen Hotel again after a long time. The spaciousness throughout and the fresh flower arrangements displayed along the long corridors made me feel genuinely warm and welcomed. The buffet dishes were also creative and thoughtfully prepared, making for an enjoyable time. Needless to say, the large public bath was outstanding.

I had a very comfortable stay. Considering the price, it offered excellent value for money, and every meal was delicious with just the right portions. The Ryukyu-tatami Room was spacious and clean, making it easy to relax. Both the large public bath and the open-air bath were roomy, and the water felt soft with a slight silky texture—very soothing. I also appreciated being seated at a quiet end spot in the dining area for solo guests, which allowed me to enjoy my meals in peace. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to visit again in a different season.

Since we started traveling as a family, we often visit Kinugawa and Nasu, and we always stay at Hotel New Shiobara. This time was also Hotel New Shiobara. Since becoming premium, it has become even more comfortable. Above all, our children really love this hotel. The buffet meals, the baths, and the overall atmosphere inside the Hotel are all excellent. The newly opened lounge is also great. We plan to stay here again whenever we visit Nasu. I stayed here for a concert at Festival Hall. Since it was practically next door, I could go back and forth several times for merchandise sales and the show itself. Even after the concert ended, I was able to relax and fall asleep while enjoying the afterglow.

I used this hotel as a base for a solo trip from out of town. The parking lot was very spacious, and I was able to park near the entrance, which made carrying my luggage quick and easy. At the front desk, they informed me in advance that there would be a group staying, and their thoughtful consideration made me feel at ease. I had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I would definitely like to stay here again when I travel to this area.

I made a Reservation on behalf of my parents, and they said it was wonderful! They mentioned that many of the staff were foreigners, so there were a few things they didn’t fully understand, but the food was delicious and they had a very enjoyable stay. The Room felt a bit old, and the railing was low, so families with small children should be careful. They also really enjoyed trying the sand bath for the first time. They were happy that the shop was spacious as well. They chose a Plan with all-you-can-drink; the draft beer was excellent, but the meal was so good and filling that they couldn’t drink much beer—haha. For dinner, I had noted in advance that they can’t eat fish, and you kindly accommodated this. My father was especially happy because everything served was something he could eat, which made me happy too. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my parents. Next time, we will stay with our whole family. Thank you again.

It was close to Kakegawa Station and I was able to stay at an affordable price. The amenities were plentiful, and it was very helpful to have even sunscreen and hair oil provided (it’s rare to find sunscreen available). Breakfast was also great, with plenty of drink options. I’d like to use this Accommodation again when I visit Kakegawa Station. Thank you.

I stayed at Oga Hotel because I wanted to see the stone-grilled hot pot. They showed me something truly wonderful. Dinner was a full-course meal, and it was very delicious and satisfying. A bath basket was provided in the Room, which was very convenient for going to the large public bath. Although the Hotel itself is not new, the staff were very pleasant, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel.

Outside peak seasons, it offers excellent value for money.

From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off. I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us. This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter. Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned. Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it. Dinner enjoyed at a relaxed pace in our Room was delicious across the board, making for a truly restful time. In particular, the bath had a distinctive local charm, and being able to choose a yukata in your preferred style was a delightful touch. The staff’s attentive hospitality was also very pleasant, making our stay especially memorable. It was a wonderful Accommodation that we would love to visit again.

Deeper into the Hanamaki Onsen area, Dai Onsen itself had a rather rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere, but this Accommodation is a reinforced-concrete building and one of the larger Accommodations in Dai Onsen. It had a strong Showa-era feel, yet everything was impeccably clean; the Onsen was spacious, with abundant free-flowing water that felt pleasantly gentle on the skin. Just as we had heard about the excellent food, both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared with many dishes, and everything was delicious. All staff members—both younger and older—were consistently pleasant and service-minded without ever being overbearing; their perfectly balanced attentiveness was wonderful. The Room had a nostalgic Showa-era ambiance that older guests will appreciate, and we slept well in this warm and welcoming Accommodation.

1. “2 minutes on foot from Asahikawa Station” seems unrealistic; it’s probably about a 5-minute walk (depending on where you start). 2. It was lively, with many guests who seemed to be Chinese. On the Room floor, there were leftovers placed outside some doors. 3. There was coffee and newspapers on the first floor, and I could relax and read them on the sofa. 4. The Onsen is also open to day-use visitors. I used it in the morning and evening; it was very comfortable.

It was so lush and green that it hardly felt like Osaka, and it was incredibly relaxing. The staff were kind, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. We will visit again.
