The Room had a private open-air bath, and it was wonderful. We also enjoyed the delicious drinks and snacks. The meals were generous in portion, and the Yamato beef shabu-shabu was especially excellent. The children were thrilled with the table tennis and board games as well!

We had a very comfortable stay. The Room we stayed in was the Comfort Extra Twin. Within its compact size, it features a bathroom with a washing area, a separate toilet, and a washbasin. Shoes are not allowed on the floor inside the Room. It was perfect for those who don’t need a large, luxurious Room and want to keep costs down, but still want to relax in the bath and use the toilet without feeling self-conscious. One small note: since there is only a curtain separating the beds from the washbasin area (i.e., the changing space), some guests may find it bothersome. For us, as a family traveling with small children, it didn’t bother us at all. Other nice perks included borrowing manga to read, an on-site coin laundry, welcome drinks, and good value benefits.

It had been unbearably hot for so long that I didn’t feel like going anywhere, but I thought a hotel staycation would be enjoyable, so I decided to make a Reservation. The chilled hand towels on arrival and the ice-filled ice bucket provided during turndown were thoughtful touches—especially appreciated in summer. It was also my first time trying lounge hopping, and I miscalculated by eating too much and ending up uncomfortably full at dinner… Still, I enjoyed strolling around the garden inside the Hotel and had a very satisfying stay.

This was our second stay, and we were very satisfied with the Facility, service, meals, and Onsen. It’s an Accommodation that both children and adults can truly enjoy. As soon as we got home, our child asked, “I want to go again!” Although it’s a highly satisfying Accommodation overall, if I had to mention one thing, I think it would be helpful to have a small towel for wiping around the sink. Since there are slopes and stairs on the grounds, guests using strollers or those with mobility difficulties may find it better to use Yawatano.

This was my first visit in about six months. I’m always impressed by your thoughtful hospitality—attentive without being intrusive. You also took our previous stay into consideration and prepared a menu with plenty of variety. We hope to visit again this autumn.

I’ve recently become a fan of Route Inn and often stay there on road trips. The Room was brand-new and functional, which was great. A short drive away, there were some delicious seafood restaurants, making it an enjoyable stay.

After the renovation, the Room was very clean and beautiful. The food was delicious, and the upgraded course had generous portions, so we were very satisfied. The rice from Fukui Prefecture is excellent. I usually eat only about half a bowl at breakfast, but I had a second serving. It was new-season rice and truly delicious. The lobby felt a bit warm. I also soaked in the bath for a long time and couldn’t stop sweating, and when heading back to the Room you have to pass through the lobby, which felt a little hot. It was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality.

When I made the Reservation, it was during the Obon holiday period, so only a semi-double room was available. However, I requested a change to a twin room. At check-in, a cancellation became available and you were able to accommodate the change. I truly had a comfortable and pleasant night. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family. Overall, we had no complaints. The staff’s desire to provide warm hospitality came through clearly in their words and actions. It is an Accommodation we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

As last year, we stayed for two nights in a Junior Suite to celebrate our grandchild’s birthday. The forecast was wrong, and the sun came out all three days, so we were able to fully enjoy Iritahama Beach and the pool instead of Nabeta. The staff’s consistently warm hospitality made our stay even more wonderful. Breakfast was great, but on the second day some items changed, and our grandchild was disappointed that their favorite shigure-ni from the previous day was no longer available, so I rated it 4. We’re looking forward to visiting again next year. They say they’d like to stay three nights next time.

I stayed here with my husband while I was pregnant. One morning, we woke up unusually early and took a walk together to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The location is excellent, and I think it’s ideal for sightseeing. The lounge was also very comfortable. I recommend staying in a Room with a large bath!

Everything was perfect in every way. The setting, cleanliness, and the delicious dinner and breakfast were all wonderful. It was also fun that each Room we stayed in was different. Even though it was midsummer, the garden flowers were in full bloom like a picture—truly impressive. This time we traveled from Yuda to Hagi and then Matsue, but next time we would like to come to Hagi and stay longer at a relaxed pace.

I traveled with my partner. The Hotel felt a bit old, but all the staff we passed greeted us warmly and cheerfully, which was very pleasant. They promptly assisted with the reservation call for river rafting and handled it efficiently. The meals in the morning and evening had a wide variety of dishes, were visually colorful, and used local ingredients, which I appreciated. The chicken in the hot pot was delicious, as was the rice. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Next time, I’d like to try river rafting too!

This was my third stay. After arriving while it was still light out, I first enjoyed Goshobo’s semi-mixed Onsen and the large public bath with its golden Onsen. Since it was summer, even a short soak left me sweating nonstop. In the large bath, I shared the water with someone for the first time here; we had a pleasant chat and ended up soaking a bit longer. Dinner was a lighter, seafood-focused course. The chilled Awaji spiny lobster soup was a perfect match with Koshu wine. The highlight began with sashimi of meita-garei flounder and aged sea bream, followed by more Akashi-ura fish to enjoy. The charcoal-grilled Spanish mackerel and the Akashi sea bream acqua pazza were both seasonal specials you can only have here at this time of year. The broth in the acqua pazza was much lighter than last autumn’s filefish version. To finish, the cheese course left me fully satisfied in both quality and quantity—thank you for the wonderful meal. For breakfast, I switched back to the standard menu: milk, soup, vegetables—an all-around delicious plate—beautiful French toast, and yogurt meant to savor the jam and honey. Everything tasted exactly as good as expected. Even the mini breads were great; this time, the buttery croissant was my favorite. In my Room bath, I topped up little by little while letting it cool slightly, enjoying a pleasantly lukewarm golden Onsen. The breeze through the window felt wonderful: lush greenery everywhere, distant summer skies, murmuring sounds of life outside—and cicadas loud enough not to lose to them. Summer Onsen really is something special. After breakfast I alternated between the golden Onsen and the low-temperature sauna. It was an extremely satisfying holiday stay. Thank you very much. P.S. I stayed here recently while touring the Jomo Sanzan mountains. The Accommodation felt a bit dated in places, but it was very well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The bath was on the small side, but perhaps because of the time I used it, I was able to relax both times without sharing it with other guests. I had been looking forward to dinner because the Reviews were so positive, and it lived up to my expectations—every dish was carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The presentation was also enjoyable, and it made me want to visit again just for the dinner. Above all, every staff member was pleasant and attentive, which left a strong impression. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and am very satisfied overall. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again.

I came across this Accommodation while searching online for a place to stay during Golden Week, and it turned out to be wonderful. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles. The food, drinks, and water were all excellent. Since it was spring, I was happy to be able to enjoy mountain vegetables as well. The building and rooms are old, but they have been beautifully renovated with great skill and care. I was very satisfied. There is also a row of cherry trees nearby, so I would love to visit again during cherry blossom season.

Despite the continued hot weather, the herb garden was beautifully maintained and filled with many flowers and herbs. Both dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared dish by dish—beautifully presented and delicious. Truly worthy of an auberge. We also enjoyed the carefully selected furnishings in the Room and the tableware in the restaurant. Although you wouldn’t expect it from the exterior, the hinoki bath and ReFa shower were wonderful, allowing us to relax completely. Even with many young staff members, the hospitality was outstanding. The vegan cookies in the lounge were so good that I meant to buy some as a souvenir, but I forgot—what a shame. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. We would love to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-drink craft beer server. The open-air bath overlooking the bamboo grove was also wonderful: during the day, you can hear cicadas, and at night it has a majestic, Bamboo Cutter’s Tale atmosphere. The meals were excellent—both dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The bar had many cocktails and Japanese whiskies, all delicious. Thank you to the bartender.

First, I was truly impressed by the hospitality. Upon arrival, they greeted me by name, which made me feel very welcome. The Japanese-style room was spacious and spotless. There was even a homemade dessert in the refrigerator. The bath water quality was amazing—silky and smooth—and it left my skin feeling incredibly soft. My dry skin actually improved during my stay. Both dinner and breakfast were lavish, and I enjoyed a full feast. It honestly felt like the best hospitality imaginable. I definitely want to come again!

I was able to enjoy an extraordinary getaway at this quiet mountain resort, with a soothing atmosphere and magnificent views of Mt. Asama. The staff’s warm smiles and professional service—always offering the finest hospitality—were truly comforting. Dinner while watching Mt. Asama at dusk from the mountaintop was a special experience you can’t find anywhere else. From the spa’s open-air bath, the sky felt vast; I imagined how beautiful the stars must be on a clear night, and after my bath I cooled down with a soft drink at the poolside bar. The view from the pool over the European-style buildings, courtyard, and Mt. Asama beyond was also outstanding. It was a Resort Hotel where you can enjoy a truly special summer retreat.
