The facilities were kept very clean, and the staff were kind and attentive, so we had a wonderful stay. Just as we had heard, the hot spring water quality was excellent, and the open-air bath was fantastic. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

For dinner, we chose the luxurious full-course Maezawa beef option. Every dish was absolutely delicious, but the portions were honestly too large for us (next time, the standard Plan will be more than enough). The open-air bath in our Room and the open-air bath at the large public bath were both excellent. From check-in to departure, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout—this is a wonderful Onsen Ryokan that makes you want to come back.

We are always very satisfied with the pleasant hospitality, delicious meals, and relaxing Onsen. This time, we chose the teppanyaki dinner course for the first time, and it was delicious and very satisfying. It made us want to visit again right away, so as soon as we returned home, we promptly made our next Reservation. We look forward to staying with you again.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. I plan to give her another trip as a gift once more within this year, and I would appreciate your kind support when that time comes.

I stayed here to relax at an Onsen Accommodation. The homemade, heartfelt dishes were truly delicious. Dinner was great, but breakfast was especially memorable—the simmered royal fern, Tochio fried tofu and bamboo shoots, and simmered potatoes were outstanding. The potato salad was also excellent; the woman next to me had finished hers and asked for seconds, so I requested an extra serving as well. After bathing, I opened the Room window and enjoyed the pleasant night breeze from the satoyama countryside, soothed by a chorus of frogs. I was very satisfied!

The location is excellent, and the Room size and furnishings were great—especially the bathroom facilities, which were very convenient and impeccably clean. I would like to stay again.

The Facility was very luxurious yet refined and relaxing. The hospitality was excellent, and the meals were truly delicious. The Onsen water was clear and colorless, but it lived up to its reputation as one of Japan’s Three Famous Hot Springs, said to have been favored by Masamune Date. It doesn’t make you overheat easily and keeps you warm for a long time—an exceptional spring quality that warmed both body and mind and soothed me deeply. Next time, I would love to stay in a Room with a private open-air bath. I will definitely return.

We stayed one night at Hawaiians, then stayed here on the second night and visited Oarai Aquarium. It was a big help that there were no accommodation or breakfast charges for our child. There were three of us in total—my husband and I and our four-year-old—and we were more than satisfied for the price. I especially liked how clean the Room was, and my husband particularly enjoyed the breakfast waffles (with dried sweet potato?). All of the staff were very pleasant, spoke kindly to our daughter as well, and she was very happy. If we have another opportunity, we would definitely like to stay again—this is my first time leaving a comment. Thank you very much.

It was a simple, lovely, spacious Room. My child was very happy as well. Just one thing: the walls were thin, and the guests in the next Room were noisy until late at night, so we couldn’t sleep. I suppose that may be a downside of being able to accommodate many people. We would appreciate it if you could consider some soundproofing measures. Overall, our stay was excellent, and the staff were very considerate, so we would like to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. From check-in, I was welcomed with a wonderful smile, which raised my expectations. The Room was a twin—spotlessly clean! Perfect for relaxing in a spacious setting on my own. The amenities were great, including cleansing oil that women will appreciate. The shampoo also had a lovely scent. I was able to borrow an air purifier and a hair iron for free! The lounge chair was extremely comfortable as well. Since this stay was for enjoying some solo time, I ordered room service at night: a delicious burger and the dessert of the day. I don’t like truffle fries, so I asked to switch to regular fries, and they happily accommodated my request—I really appreciated it. I definitely want to stay again. Next time, I plan to book with breakfast included. Even during the busy checkout period, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently! If there’s one thing I could ask for, it would be an even better experience if there were a late check-out Plan!

Thank you for taking care of our family of four for one night and two days. One of us was delayed due to work and might not have made it in time for dinner. When we informed the staff, they kindly changed our dining Room and made various thoughtful arrangements so that even if we arrived late, we could relax without rushing. We were in a difficult situation, and I was truly moved by your deep hospitality. I asked for their name, but they said, “We all do this together...” To Mr./Ms. K-sawa and all the staff members at the dinner venue, thank you very much for everything. I was deeply impressed. The location was great, and I had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks at the 1F café were excellent. Unlike a typical breakfast, every dish was delicious, which really surprised me. The only thing that concerned me was how small the Room was, but otherwise it felt perfect. I would like to stay again when I visit.

I visit on business every year, but this was my first stay in Kaike Onsen. Since I was here for work, I wasn’t expecting anything special, but not only was the Onsen wonderful—the meals were excellent as well. The sunset over the Sea of Japan from our spacious Room was absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

Last year, I invited some friends and stayed here, and this year we were able to visit again around the same time because they really wanted to come back. I have visited several times for family events, and we were welcomed with the same warm smiles as always. The delicious, heartfelt meals, the well-kept and comfortable Room, and the bath that felt truly refreshing made for a wonderful stay. This was our second stay. Both dinner and breakfast used local ingredients, and we enjoyed them very much. When staying in Yufuin, this is the Accommodation my family always requests. The staff were courteous, our privacy was well maintained, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. This Room also had both an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, so whenever we had free time, we soaked in the tub. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, it was raining due to a typhoon and the Yoshino River was swollen and muddy, but thanks to the wonderful hospitality at Kazuraya, it became a great memory. Every dinner dish was delicious, and the difference in flavors compared with the Kanto region felt refreshingly new. Dinner portions were quite generous, so I couldn’t finish breakfast—such a shame… The Room was spacious and very clean; it almost felt like a waste for just one night. There’s only a mirror in the wash area, so it was a bit dark and inconvenient for doing makeup. A small handheld makeup mirror or an extra simple mirror would be helpful. There are many stairs and it isn’t barrier-free, so I’d like to visit again while I’m still fit. Overall, I think this is a very comfortable Ryokan!

This was our sixth stay, and every time we have enjoyed a fun and comfortable visit. All three private open-air (and semi-open-air) baths are available to use as often as you like. Both dinner and breakfast are generous in portion size, perfectly seasoned, and always leave us completely satisfied.

I was extremely satisfied with all the Facilities in the property. The all-inclusive plan and the amenities bar were both excellent. The meals were delicious, and they were served at just the right timing. I truly felt genuine hospitality from all the staff, and it was incredibly comfortable! I will definitely be back again.
