This is a long-established Ryokan at Kawayu Onsen, where Onsen springs flow from the riverbed. It is the closest Ryokan to the large open-air bath "Sennin-buro," which is available from December to February every year. In November 2008, we opened three "Kumano Modern Rooms," guest rooms with open-air baths and foot baths inspired by the bamboo, wood, and earth of Kumano. Beppu Showa-en was established in the first year of the Showa era, located in Minami-Tateishi, Beppu City, with 30 guest rooms and a garden.
