Mizuno Ryokan is located in a quiet area near Karatsu Castle, along the Ishigaki walking path. This culinary Ryokan offers natural seafood from Genkai Sea while enjoying views of Karatsu Bay. With its serene atmosphere and traditional Japanese architecture, it also features a tea room. Guests can also appreciate Karatsu pottery, including pieces from the Nakazato Taroemon Kiln.

Skilled in traditional ink-line marking, Heikichi was known locally as “Sumiya no Hei-san” (“Hei from the ink shop”). From this nickname came the house name Tanpei, later renamed “Tanpei,” and it has since been operated as the oldest Accommodation in Tango Town to this day. The spirit of hospitality of “Sumiya no Hei-san” has been passed down through six generations and continues today.

The villa "Amahara" of Awaji Yumesenkei, named after "Takamagahara," the dwelling place of the heavenly gods as told in the "Kojiki," is a villa filled with the desire for guests to enjoy a fulfilling holiday amidst the blessed environment of Awaji Island and the gentle passage of time.

In winter, savor Matsuba crab; in summer, fresh squid; and in spring and autumn, Kasumi crab and premium fish like Nodoguro, all freshly caught at Kasumi Port in Hyogo Prefecture. The owner, being a broker, personally selects and purchases the seafood at auctions, ensuring exceptional freshness and quality. The Property was renovated in July 2021, introducing new Japanese-Western special rooms equipped with bedrooms and private baths, offering an extraordinary stay. Meals are served privately at individual table seating, and the open kitchen showcases freshly caught seafood of the day, which the chef prepares right in front of you upon special order. The large public bath features natural Kasumi Onsen (alkaline simple Onsen), with silver-lined mirrors and lighting creating a magical atmosphere to soothe your fatigue.

"Ryori no Yado Izu no Hana" grand opened in April 2023 as a sister accommodation to "Ryori no Yado Izu no Umi." This serene adult retreat is nestled within a bamboo grove, offering only seven exclusive guest rooms to ensure heartfelt hospitality. As the name suggests, "Ryori no Yado Izu no Hana" is truly an accommodation dedicated to cuisine. Savor kaiseki dishes crafted with care using seasonal local ingredients, including freshly caught morning fish from the nearby Izu waters and fresh vegetables grown under the sun of the Izu region. Our natural Onsen, enjoyed in four types of baths (Tunnel Bath, Cave Bath, Scenic View Bath, and Private Family Bath), is also highly praised. Surrounded by the beautiful, unspoiled scenery of Ubara Risokyo, our Accommodation offers Rooms with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Ubara Risokyo. Based on the concept of local production for local consumption, we offer kaiseki cuisine featuring fresh seafood from Ise, personally caught by the captain. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin Plate in the Michelin Guide Mie 2019 under "Ise."The wood-scented rooms are equipped with Tempur adjustable beds, wine cellars, and premium amenities such as luxury cosmetics from "MIKIMOTO," inspired by Kokichi Mikimoto, the founder of pearl cultivation, and "Molton Brown," a brand originating in London.
