We had a wonderful stay. We’d love to stay here again the next time we visit Huis Ten Bosch.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. This price was a great deal with next-day passport included. The Room was spacious and nice, but it was a bit disappointing to find hair in the washbasin.

We stayed here to enjoy swimming at Shirarahama Beach. Before check-in, they let us use the changing room and paid lockers, and we reached Shirarahama Beach in just a few minutes on foot. They also have an air pump for float rings, of course. After swimming, we could rinse off the sand with the outdoor warm-water shower and then head straight to the Onsen, which was great. Both the Room and the Facility were clean, and there were free drinks available throughout the property—we enjoyed them after bathing and while waiting for the elevator. The plum soda was delicious. The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was tasty. It was also nice that freshly cooked steak and tempura were brought directly to our table. Since our buffet time slot was later, we were able to go see the sunset at Engetsuto Island before dinner. Even after checkout, they offered parking for 1,000 yen, and told us we could use the paid lockers—and even use the baths after 2:00 PM—so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy an Onsen after coming back from the beach before heading home. If you’re going swimming at the beach, this place is absolutely “Musashi”! It was that good. All of the staff were kind, and it made for a truly great trip. Thank you very much.

Breakfast was a choice of Japanese, Western, or a Sasebo Burger, plus a buffet as well—very satisfying. I couldn’t eat a Sasebo Burger the day before, so I never expected to be able to have one in the morning!

Perhaps influenced by its location in Takachiho, both the Facility’s interior and exterior were stylish and created a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Also, thanks to the staff informing us at check-in about the “Amano-Iwato Guided Tour,” we were able to view the sacred cave of Amano-Iwato. If they hadn’t told us, I think we would have simply walked around Amano-Iwato Shrine and left. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my spouse and me turning 70. The Room with an open-air bath was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. The Onsen water quality in the large public bath was excellent. We could choose different temperatures depending on the area, and we were very satisfied. The meals were also very delicious. It became a memorable celebration. We would like to visit again.

I stayed here the night before my trip to Kamikochi. I arrived a little early, but the staff kindly accommodated me and let me into my Room ahead of time. Thank you very much.

The staff’s greetings are outstanding. The Facility and Rooms are frequently renovated, so everything is spotless. The dinner and breakfast venues also feel fresh, and you can really see the ongoing effort to keep updating the menu, interior design, and even the lighting. The food is stylish with a wide variety of dishes. The dessert corner at dinner is especially delicious, with baked sweets and cakes made using various fruits. Personally, I was happy to see blueberries on the buffet given the season. Marriott never disappoints wherever you stay in Japan or abroad, but Yamanakako was particularly memorable!

Although it was the peak of summer and very hot, it was wonderfully cool here—perfect for a summer getaway. Above all, the food was absolutely delicious. The local dishes and beer were fantastic!

The Onsen was spacious and relaxing, and the wide variety of meals tempted us to eat more than we should. The building is old, but well maintained, and we felt truly refreshed by the warm, smiling service and thoughtful hospitality. With baby-friendly bathing facilities and dining options, we felt at ease and would like to visit next time with three generations of our family.

First of all, the staff were wonderful. Many international team members were working there, and they were well trained and welcomed us with warm smiles. I misunderstood the breakfast time and arrived late to my set meal seat, but I was not rushed at all and was able to enjoy a delicious meal. Everything was very clean, including the bedding sheets. This time I used the Yugawara Smile Coupon and got a great deal on my stay, but even without the coupon I felt it offers excellent value for money. It was only one night, but I was able to relax. Thank you!

I’ve stayed at various places in Nagasaki City, and while this building is certainly old, I was satisfied with everything—the cleaning service and the breakfast. The price is reasonable as well. No matter how beautiful or luxurious a building may be, in the end it’s the people that matter. Thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. I’ll probably stay here every time I come to Nagasaki.

We stayed for one night with our 2-year-old Toy Poodle. The place was very clean, and they provided insect repellent spray, pee pads, poop bags, and a walking bag. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and although it was hot, we made the most of it and enjoyed the campfire as well. We also used the dog run, which was spacious enough even for large dogs. Our dog seemed very happy, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. There are several places nearby for walks, which was really helpful. We’d love to come again when it’s cooler.

Used on a business trip. Conveniently located near the station in an area lined with Business Hotels. The Room is spacious for the size of the building, the bath is great, and the coin laundry facilities are well equipped. Best of all, it’s very affordable—overall a really good Hotel.\nThere are plenty of izakayas and popular local bars nearby, so choosing where to go can be tough. There’s also a convenience store close by, making this Accommodation highly satisfying.

This Hotel offered the best view I’ve ever experienced. The view of Nagasaki Harbor from halfway up the mountain—especially at night—was breathtaking. Our Room was on the top floor, and we treated ourselves to a suite. It felt almost too luxurious, but we fully enjoyed both the bath and the scenery.

Just 12 minutes by train from Kanazawa Station, with a free Shuttle Service from the station, it was a nearby Onsen. I had been curious about the “Tanbo-no-Yu” bath. It was a trip for three sisters in our 60s, and the open-air “Tanbo-no-Yu” bath was wonderful. Maybe because rice planting had just been done around the baths... the chorus of frogs created a great atmosphere. The meals were delicious as well. The staff were from overseas but spoke Japanese very well, and worked hard to provide warm hospitality. It’s an old Hotel with history, and as you walk through the building you can still see impressive old beams, a large cauldron once used to cook rice, and antique chests of drawers. Modernizing the Facility is nice too, but this Accommodation let us truly feel traditional Japanese charm. I think I would recommend it to international guests as well. The price was reasonable, and I will come again. Thank you very much.

I stayed with a friend's family. Despite having small and noisy children, the staff warmly welcomed us, which we greatly appreciated. The onsen was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast was also very delicious. We stayed in a large room for two groups, and it was spacious and fantastic. Having two restrooms in the room was also convenient. Thank you for taking care of us!
