Following our stay on Ishigaki Island, we stayed here for two more nights. Since APA uses the same system, it felt reassuring. In the morning, the private open-air bath was very relaxing. For dinner, we had a great time at a restaurant featured on a flyer available at the Hotel. As I was traveling alone, I really appreciated it. I would like to stay again.

It was a bit hard to find when driving to the Hotel, but it was reasonably priced, and Gin-no-Yu Onsen was right in front. It was perfect for a girls’ trip—four of us could stay together, and the Room was spacious. The air conditioning was already on when we entered the Room, which was amazing! We also enjoyed exploring the Onsen town and visiting Kin-no-Yu Onsen. The shops closed early so we had to hurry, but overall we were very satisfied. Thank you!

This was my first stay here. The building itself had a charming sense of history, but everything inside was thoroughly cleaned, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing. At another Onsen Ryokan where I stayed before, I noticed a musty smell in the hallways, so this level of cleanliness alone made me glad I chose this place. There was also coffee service, and it was delicious. There were plenty of restaurants toward the station within walking distance, so we were able to enjoy dinner without any trouble. We had breakfast at the Accommodation, and when I asked where to dispose of empty cans and plastic bottles from the Room, a breakfast staff member kindly took them for us. Their warm words made for a pleasant start to the day along with a great meal. When we checked out, they even took a commemorative photo for us at the entrance—every staff member was wonderful. Next time, I’d like to stay with dinner included. It was an Accommodation we were truly satisfied with.

I stayed for one night on my trip to Hakodate! It was convenient with a streetcar stop nearby. The bath was a bit hot, but it was great. All the staff were kind, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thank you very much. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed for one night with the No Meals Included plan. My daughter wore a cute yukata that was available to borrow for free, and she was thrilled as we strolled around the Kinosaki Onsen town. After check-in, it’s best to choose your yukata right away! Quantities are limited, so the cute obi and cords may run out. The bath was spacious and relaxing, so we were very satisfied. If we have a chance to visit the area again, we would love to stay here once more.

I stayed at this Onsen Accommodation for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. Both breakfast and dinner were served in the same private dining room, and we had the same staff member each time, so we could enjoy our meals in a very relaxed and calm atmosphere. The food was excellent and very satisfying. However, there was no accommodation guidebook in the Room, so I would have appreciated having one.

Because we’d mostly visited southern Onsen towns such as Zao, Akayu, and Kaminoyama, this year we decided to head north and went to Hijiori, Semi, and Ginzan. Hijiori had come up as an option before, but I had somehow assumed it was a remote, quiet, minor Onsen area. I was surprised to find it’s a rare Onsen town these days that still has real energy. While Zao and Akayu have largely turned into shuttered streets and feel like each place is operating separately for its own target guests, Hijiori Onsen has a welcoming style where the whole town hosts visitors together. The shops were lively too—I was truly moved to see that the best of the Showa-era Onsen town atmosphere still remains. I believe Yushin no Yado is family-run with additional staff; everyone was kind and warm in their service, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. And we were amazed by both the quantity and quality of the meals! It was so lavish I thought my stomach might burst—packed with mountain delicacies. I wished I had a bigger appetite. I felt bad leaving anything uneaten, and when I saw someone at a nearby table being served an enormous watermelon, I nearly despaired. However, they were clearly paying attention to how quickly we were eating; since I eat slowly, they switched mine to a smaller portion for me, which impressed me. As a couple who don’t drink alcohol much at all, strongly seasoned dishes meant to pair with drinks are delicious but make us need lots of water; if possible, it would be helpful to receive a pitcher of cold water once it’s clear we won’t be ordering beverages. The saltiness makes us thirsty—we end up drinking a lot of water and getting full before finishing the wonderful food. The private reserved Onsen in the annex offered as a guest perk had different water quality from the main bath area (which made it fun). It seems this Accommodation borrows the bathhouse of an older Ryokan that is no longer operating; because it didn’t lock properly from inside (no key), it made us nervous. Still, enjoying another type of spring water was great.

Everything—from the meals, baths, and Room to the staff’s hospitality—was absolutely satisfying. Both breakfast and dinner were beautifully presented and truly delicious. In addition to what was served at the table for dinner, a separate table was set up with obanzai (Kyoto-style small dishes). Everything I tried was delicious. The broccoli salad, marinated tomatoes, and pickled quail eggs in particular were so good I wanted to try every single dish. Breakfast offered both Japanese- and Western-style options, which I really enjoyed. The baths and Room—and in fact the entire Ryokan—were spotless and very clean. Thoughtful touches were everywhere: trays for jewelry in the bathroom and at the sink in the Room, as well as a warm note about what to do if insects appear along with insect spray provided. It made me feel genuinely happy. And at this price point—I’m truly grateful. I don’t usually want to return to the same Accommodation, but this is a wonderful place that makes me want to come back.

The all-you-can-drink welcome drinks were fantastic. Draft beer, highballs, chuhai, and more. A variety of soft drinks is also available for children. It was a great way to unwind after a long drive. When you think of Ibusuki, you think of the sand bath. They also explain what to do afterward if you get sandy. You wear a special gown and the staff covers you with sand. The service was very courteous, and we were extremely satisfied. We will definitely visit again.

I visited in search of an Onsen that is not chlorinated and does not use circulation. As expected, there was no chlorine smell, and the water was gentle and very satisfying. The meals were carefully prepared and truly delicious—I left completely full. The building is old, which can’t be helped, but the excellent hot spring water and food more than made up for it, so overall I was very satisfied. One episode that left a strong impression: After checkout, the attendant came to see us off at the entrance. After saying goodbye, we headed to the parking lot a short distance away (it took us some time to finish packing). When we later drove past the entrance, we realized she had been waiting in the heat just to see us off! She kindly stayed until the very end, and I was deeply touched by her warm hospitality. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We truly appreciate it. I would love to visit again.

I made a direct Reservation and had a very pleasant stay with kind, attentive service. I was surprised by how steep the hill is, but the Onsen is free-flowing from the source and left my skin feeling silky smooth, and the meals were carefully prepared, lightly seasoned, and delicious. I’d love to come again.

We stayed in a detached guest room with a private open-air bath. At first, the water was too hot to get in, but after dinner it was just right. The owner was very kind and friendly, and chatted with us warmly. The location was also great, as we could walk to Lake Kinrin.

The hot spring bath was wonderful. I really enjoyed chatting with the hostess as well. The food was delicious, too. Thank you for promptly delivering my forgotten item—I truly appreciate it.

We stayed here at short notice so my son could attend a rugby training camp. Even with rising prices and during summer vacation, we were able to stay at a great rate—with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner (including chicken hot pot) came with an all-you-can-drink option, and we left completely satisfied. Breakfast was also just the right amount. The Onsen temperature was perfect as well. One thing that concerned me was the surroundings—not the building itself, but the area around it. It’s a shame, because the food and Onsen are excellent. With a bit of tidying up, I think it would feel much nicer. The scenery really matters—atmosphere and charm, too. With hopes for improvement, I’d like to stay again. Thank you as well for accommodating my son when his plan suddenly changed to No Meals Included.

What truly stands out is the warm hospitality of all staff members, from young male staff to new female staff, making every interaction soothing from check-in onwards. Located within walking distance of Yufuin's Yunotsubo Kaido Street, this Ryokan is highly recommended if you want to explore Yufuin while enjoying exceptional service and comfort.

Located near the center of the nine public bathhouses, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious, made with local ingredients. It was clean and had a calm atmosphere, so we were able to relax and enjoy a restful stay.

Ideal for value- and time-conscious travelers. We offer simple, straightforward service. Great cost performance. No Meals Included with clean Japanese-style rooms, and the Onsen is reliably excellent—no explanation needed. Please note: the toilet does not have a washlet bidet.

I found an accommodation at Yubara Onsen that matched my preferences with a private open-air bath in the room, so I made a reservation. Although it was pouring rain on the day, the service started with staff bringing an umbrella to us at the parking lot, and their farewell was excellent until the very end. We stayed in "Ruri," and having a large private bath in the room that we could use anytime was amazing. My wife enjoyed soaking in the natural hot spring more frequently than I did. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying, and we didn’t even touch any of the snacks we bought from a convenience store just in case—we were completely full from our meals. The sake was delicious, and we also enjoyed using the baths at neighboring Tsuruya Inn. If I had to point out any negatives, perhaps there was a slight smell from the toilet? Or maybe some mold on the curtain of the open-air bath? The sound of ventilation fans? However, these minor issues didn’t bother us as there were far more positives during our stay. If you’re visiting Yubara Onsen, this is definitely a place you should experience at least once! It’s not just worth 5 stars but deserves 10 stars!

I have visited Kurokawa Onsen more than 10 times, and among them, the meals were top-class for both dinner and breakfast—I was very satisfied. The Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style, and the semi-open-air bath in the Room was extremely relaxing, allowing me to unwind at a leisurely pace. Originally, I planned to stay on Friday, but due to an approaching typhoon I had to request a last-minute change the day before to stay on Saturday instead. Thank you very much for accommodating my request so kindly. The only issue was the stool provided in the in-room bath area for washing—it was too small for adults, and I felt like it might tip over when sitting on it. I understand there may be space constraints in the washing area, but I think there is room for improvement. I would definitely like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

We stayed for one night from July 4 to 5. The building looks quite old from the outside, but the interior has been beautifully renovated, and we had a very comfortable stay. My spouse and I travel every year, and this place was a real find. Every dish was delicious, and there was so much food that we were completely full—very satisfying. Above all, the hostess’s personality made the biggest impression. Her warm, pleasant hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We would love to return if we have the chance again.
