It was a wonderful Room where we could soak in a free-flowing hot spring bath while enjoying the spectacular views of Mt. Hakusan, soothing our tired bodies and minds from everyday life. The meals were also excellent, with delicious dishes served in a private dining room. The building feels a bit old, but it was clean, and it was a comfortable Hotel for us seniors. It is an Accommodation we would like to visit again.

When I went to the front desk to ask if I could park my car before check-in, there were only foreign staff and I couldn’t communicate well. We stayed for two nights, and my wife lost the Room key, so I contacted the front desk, but again it was foreign staff and they didn’t understand—saying they would check—and that was it. However, with pre-registration enabling instant check-in via QR code and a Room mirror with tablet functions for instant check-out, I feel this Hotel is ahead of its time.

My first time in Sakura City, and I had a great impression. I’d love to visit again.

I was satisfied with everything—the facilities, the Room, and the bath. The food tasted average, but there was a wide variety of dishes, and I was able to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace.

The Onsen water quality is unquestionably top-class. My wheelchair-using parent could also access the private family bath and move around the property with ease. Thank you. Opinions may vary about the meals, and I can’t say how true gourmet diners would feel, but we really liked the half-buffet. Personally, I think a full buffet would be fine. It’s a very good Ryokan.

We stayed here for our once-a-year trip with friends. We really enjoyed the Onsen, including both the white bath and the red bath. At dinner, everything was delicious—crab, steak, and dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients—and breakfast was excellent too, with all-you-can-eat salmon roe and clam broth ramen. The Room was clean, but it felt a bit small once three futons were laid out. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when we come back to Hakodate.

I stayed here with my daughter on a trip to Yamaguchi. We drove from Shin-Shimonoseki to the Ryokan by rental car. Right after arriving, we enjoyed the footbath, then the granite bath. After a walk around, we returned to the Ryokan for the open-air bath. After dinner, we used the bath in our Room. In the morning, we went to the hinoki-wood bath. After breakfast, we used the Room bath again. We really enjoyed all the Onsen. It may just have been how I felt, but when I woke up in the morning my fingers weren’t stiff like usual—maybe it was an Onsen effect. The food was delicious, the riverside scenery was beautiful, and there were few tourists, so it felt like a hidden gem. The staff at this Ryokan were also very welcoming and made it feel homey. The building showed its age, but that gave it character. The only disappointment was that the air conditioner in our Room didn’t cool well and it was uncomfortable. Maybe it’s an older unit? Also, there was a musty smell in the Room (different from sulfur) that bothered me. Still, I’d like to visit again if I have another chance, and if friends ask me for recommendations for a good Onsen getaway, this is an Accommodation I’d suggest.

This was my second stay since 2018. As always, every dish at dinner was delicious, and I was very satisfied. The hospitality was also wonderful, and I truly appreciated the advice for visiting Matsumoto Castle the next day. Thanks to your guidance, we were able to sightsee smoothly without feeling the heat too much. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to stay with you in a different season. From arrival to check-out, we had a very comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with such generous portions that we couldn’t finish everything. The staff were kind and their warm smiles were wonderful. When we visit the Nanki-Katsuura area again, we would love to stay at Manshiro again.

This was my first stay. The Onsen is hot, but it warms you up wonderfully. The meals were beautifully presented, and even the simple dishes served in small bowls were delicious. I was completely satisfied with every dish. The Facility has many stairs, so it’s a good workout for your legs, and the hallways are lined with one painting after another—making even the long corridors enjoyable!! All of the staff were very kind as well. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us!!

We stayed here on a trip that also celebrated a family occasion. Everything was wonderful—the Onsen, the spacious Room, the view, and the staff’s service. The building and Rooms have a sense of history, but everything was thoroughly cleaned, so we felt comfortable staying there. The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful as well. The portions were very generous, so I think even men will feel completely full. Women can probably finish it too if they try hard. At dinner, we ordered an upgrade to a parfait with Daiginjo pudding (I believe it was 1,000 yen), but we were already full before it arrived and ate it anyway, so we couldn’t really enjoy the taste—something I regret. I would have been happy if it had less whipped cream and cost around 500 yen. All of the staff were very kind, and there were also international staff in the restaurant, so it seems like a safe choice for travelers from overseas as well—I highly recommend this place. Everyone greeted us with smiles, which made us very happy. We made wonderful memories with my mother! We would love to stay again—thank you very much!

The meals, the Room’s open-air bath, and the service were all excellent. We were able to fully enjoy a special getaway and relax at our own pace. We would love to visit again!

We chose this Accommodation expecting great food, and both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared—our whole family was very satisfied, exceeding our expectations. The hostess (or staff member) was also very friendly, making our stay truly comfortable. With only a few guest rooms, we could enjoy the bath at a relaxed pace, and we would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance.

The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and employee training is thorough. The building itself is not new, but it has been renovated throughout. The food was also delicious. The rates are reasonable, and it’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

This was my first stay. Women can choose from several colorful yukata, and dinner included Yamaguchi’s specialty, fugu tempura—beautifully presented, generous in portion, and excellent. The Onsen alternates between men and women, so we were able to use both baths. The Room was spacious enough for two people, allowing us to relax comfortably. The staff were also wonderfully attentive. I would like to stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. Conveniently located in front of Takeo-Onsen Station, a Shinkansen transfer station, and easily accessible with hardly getting wet even in the rain. It was an affordable Hotel with excellent service—nothing to complain about. The breakfast had more variety than expected, was delicious, and very satisfying.

Thank you for your hospitality at the end of the year. The view from the open-air bath was absolutely stunning. As for the meals, I enjoyed delicious fish grilled over an irori hearth, which made dining a fun and unique experience. To the staff from overseas, I understand that Japanese can be challenging, but please keep up the great work! Your smiles are wonderful in a foreign land!

Both the quality and quantity of the meals were more than satisfying. The bath water had the unique feel of Ureshino Onsen, and I soaked in the in-room bath four times. If I have the chance, I would stay again.
