It was a beautiful Ryokan. Since the price was low, I wondered what it would be like, but it was very clean and a relaxing Accommodation.

I arrived a little early, and I truly appreciate how kindly all the staff treated me. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit the Amakusa area.

We chose the BBH Group for the first time based on our junior-high and high-school children’s wishes: they wanted a buffet-style meal and, if possible, karaoke or table tennis. The Reviews here were very helpful. We arrived around 2:30 p.m., and we were able to check in; Happy Hour had already started as well, which we appreciated. There was no explanation about karaoke, so we had to ask ourselves, but we were able to make a Reservation. Badminton and table tennis could be enjoyed without a Reservation. We brought our own badminton rackets. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed BBH’s signature Happy Hour oden and drinks, the buffet meals, and the late-night soba served from 9:00 p.m. We also enjoyed items like minced tuna and salmon at breakfast, though I felt they could have been offered at dinner as well. Since everyone seems to have dinner at the same time, waiting for the only elevator took a while, so we used the stairs. Even if it’s not used often, there was far too much dust buildup. In the game corner as well, there were visible streaks of dust on top of surfaces. With 30% PayPay points applied, our out-of-pocket cost came to just under ¥10,000 per person, which felt reasonable.

Before check-in on the first day, we went to Shirarahama Beach. On the second day, we visited Adventure World. On the third day, after checking out, we went to Sandanbeki Cliff, had lunch at Toretore Market, and then headed home. It was a very fulfilling and enjoyable trip. The dinners on the first and second nights were different, so we never got tired of them and enjoyed everything—delicious throughout. The abalone was outstanding! We traveled as three families, and our grandchild was thrilled to be able to use the pool four times over two days—it was so much fun. It was truly wonderful. The café coffee was very good as well; we used it both days.

A relaxing trip with my grandchild and three sisters. Since it was just over 10,000 yen per person, we didn’t have very high expectations, but the front desk staff were kind and explained everything clearly. The Room was more spacious than we expected, which was great, but it was disappointing that the floor cushions were old and worn. The meals were delicious, with plenty of desserts that we enjoyed as well. Above all, the staff who assisted us in the dining area and hallways—and everyone we met—spoke to us kindly and made us feel comfortable. Regardless of the Accommodation cost, a good personality really matters. It was very good overall.

This was our first stay. The train-view Room delighted our children. The open-air bath was also great. We had high expectations for the buffet, and it was excellent. The selection was well balanced—not too much or too little—so we could enjoy a bit of everything. While planning this one-night trip, we researched various Hotels, and choosing this Hotel close to the station was absolutely the right decision. After checkout, we went to Owakudani and Lake Ashi. Since we left at 9:00, the first cable car was nearly empty, and we had the ropeway all to ourselves as a family. They also stored our large luggage for us, so we could sightsee comfortably with light bags. For Hakone Free Pass users, I think this is one of the best Hotels. One small suggestion: after the kids fell asleep, it would have been nice to have a small table lamp to make the Room a bit brighter. It turned into a very enjoyable trip. We would love to stay again.

Staying on the day of the fireworks festival and being able to watch from the rooftop was truly moving. The staff were kind to my children, and I also appreciated their thoughtful care during meals, such as asking whether we needed children’s spoons. It was my first solo trip with the kids, and we were completely satisfied!

It was my first time staying here! The front desk staff were very welcoming at check-in, and although the Room felt a bit old, it was spacious and comfortable! I used the large public bath and the private bath—both were excellent! I was also satisfied with the meals! I’d love to come again.

The staff were very pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied. I was a bit concerned about some dark staining around the sinks in the large public bath changing area (it seemed clean and well maintained, though). My grandchild wanted to play table tennis, but it was only available until 9:00 p.m., so we couldn’t, which was disappointing.

The Onsen area was very spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The Room was also large, clean, and comfortable. The buffet selection was plentiful and excellent. I would love to stay again!

It was a very dog-friendly Hotel. They had almost everything we needed except food, so we could stay with peace of mind. The open-air bath had a standing bath with a panoramic view of Lake Shinji, and since it was my first time, I was truly impressed. The Onsen while watching the sunrise was the best! The Hotel itself isn’t new, but it was well maintained and perfectly clean, so there was no discomfort at all. If I get the chance again, I’d love to stay here with my dog! Thank you very much.

I stayed here for one night during a two-night trip to Shimane because I wanted to keep the Accommodation cost down for one night. This guesthouse run by Kasuien Minami was the perfect choice, especially because the breakfast was delicious. I had made a Reservation for an annex Room, but they recommended another Room instead—and it was wonderful. Taking out the trash and making up the futon were self-service, but it wasn’t a problem at all. The down comforter was fluffy and very comfortable. Tamatsukuri Onsen… the water is great, and even the name “Tamatsukuri Onsen” sounds lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Facility and amenities were clean. All the staff were friendly and made our stay comfortable. Two of the four elevators were out of service due to maintenance, so the wait was long, but that couldn’t be helped. Meals were served buffet-style. The local seafood was delicious! Thank you very much.

The Onsen was wonderful, and the pool made the kids absolutely delighted. In addition, the after-bath lounge offered beer and ice cream, which I felt was an excellent service. We also enjoyed playing table tennis, and we were very satisfied overall. This is an Accommodation we would love to return to again and again.

They kindly told us the best spots to watch the fireworks, nearby convenience stores, and the Facility amenities.

In early June, we stayed at Kuju-san in search of fireflies. Dinner at this Accommodation was amazing! Freshly cooked, steaming rice was served with a smile at just the right times as our meal progressed, and we could really feel their thoughtful hospitality. The portions were so generous we thought we couldn’t finish, but we ate almost everything!! Even the staff were surprised!!! After dinner, the fireflies welcomed us with a jewel-like sparkle—an unforgettable natural spectacle that made us forget everyday life. Truly moving, again and again... When we asked the staff for advice about our trip the next day, they kindly offered helpful suggestions, making it a memorable journey. This was an Accommodation that is truly kind to travelers. Sorry for the late note of thanks—thank you very much to everyone for taking such good care of us.

Compared with my previous stay, the Room was much cleaner. The toilet is still old, but it has a washlet, and the air-conditioning and lighting are brand new, which was great. As for the meals, everything was fresh, and the fish and sushi were very delicious. For breakfast, I would prefer the dried fish to be grilled for guests rather than having to grill it myself. Overall, both the Facility and dining have improved a lot and it was very good. If there were chairs in the Room, it would be perfect.

We stayed as a family of five. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax. There was also a Shuttle Service for sightseeing, which made our trip very worthwhile. We enjoyed the buffet, and everything was delicious. The Hotel staff were also very helpful. We would like to visit again with our family.

This was my first time using the weekday Plan. Given the price, I honestly wasn’t expecting much (sorry), but I was amazed— the food was delicious, the Room was clean, and I could really relax in the bath... I found myself thinking, “Is this price really okay?!” It’s definitely an Accommodation I highly recommend.

This price was more than sufficient for two adults. We stayed as a couple in our 50s. The Room was spacious and had air conditioning and a TV, the toilet had a washlet, and the sulfur Onsen was wonderful. We were also able to enjoy an Onsen tour at the sister properties. There is also a retro hot spring town nearby, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The woman at the front desk was also very kind. Thank you!
