Overall, I was satisfied. However, the lights were either fully on or completely off, so I’d like the living room lighting to be improved.

The room comes with an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the Onsen anytime. The meals are also satisfying. I would love to visit again.

We stayed as a family of three and were very satisfied with the sophisticated soba-based creative cuisine and excellent service. The facility is simple, making the price reasonable, and it was impeccably clean. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again and again.

I wanted to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and was looking for an affordable place to stay nearby when I found this Hotel. For the Onsen and breakfast, I used their affiliated property close by, Ivy Hotel Chikushino. I was able to enjoy Futsukaichi Onsen, and the meals were delicious as well. The front desk staff were very helpful, and thanks to their recommendation, I went to the izakaya “Gon (Hiko),” where the grilled yam on an iron plate and the grilled chicken on an iron plate were excellent—I was very satisfied. To get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, you need to walk 21 minutes to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station, so if you have difficulty walking, it’s better to use a taxi or bus.

Hirayu Onsen has milky-white, iron-rich waters. After a day of hiking, it warmed us up wonderfully. The open-air bath was especially nice. The meals focused on local specialties, and we were able to enjoy a full range of Gifu delicacies such as Hida beef shabu-shabu, hoba miso, and salmon sashimi. It was supposed to be the standard meal plan, but for us—a couple in our mid-50s—it was more than luxurious enough and very satisfying. As for hospitality, the woman at the front desk, the woman who served our meals, and the man were all friendly and warm. It’s also convenient—about a 5-minute walk to the Hirayu Bus Terminal for buses to Kamikochi. We had a wonderful trip.

This was my first stay. The front desk staff were very courteous. There were complimentary drinks on the first floor, and the ice-cold draft beer was excellent. The Room was spacious and had a massage chair, so I could relax, but I couldn’t adjust the air conditioning—when I tried to operate it, it turned off. I filled the in-room Onsen right away and enjoyed a very pleasant bath, but my parent, who has difficulty walking, said the step was high and felt scary. Since everything is flat around it, I thought a handrail would make it safer. I understand this may be difficult as it is not barrier-free. I was looking forward to dinner. Everything was delicious, including salt-grilled ayu and chicken hot pot, and even the white rice was excellent. The children’s lunch plate was also generous in portion size, and my child happily bit into a big fried shrimp. However, there was one thing that concerned me. My child’s dessert (a mousse-like item topped with fruit) that came with the lunch plate was taken away partway through for some reason. Since I happened to be on the phone at that moment, I wondered why. After that, as if nothing had happened, the removed dessert was served to an adult instead, and jelly was placed for my child. I assumed it had been a mistake, but I believe an explanation should have been given. Taking something once served to one person and then serving it to someone else seems inappropriate etiquette-wise. At the very least, some explanation when bringing out the jelly for my child would have been appreciated. Overall it is a wonderful Accommodation; only the dinner service response bothered me. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious enough for a solo stay and very clean, so I could relax comfortably. The Onsen was a bit hot for me, but it felt wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. If I visit the Iwaki area again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed for one night. As others have mentioned, there are a few inconveniences—such as the entrance being hard to find and there being no elevator in the building, which makes carrying suitcases difficult. Depending on the Room, the view may feel a bit plain. Since there is no front desk staff on site at all times, some guests may be slightly confused about how to check in. Even so, it was a great Hotel that I would like to stay at again. The building has been newly renovated and is clean with no unpleasant odors. I also appreciated that the refrigerator had a freezer compartment. Compared with other Hotels in the same price range, the Room felt spacious. The bathroom also seemed large. The Onsen is small, but the water quality is excellent and everything—including the changing room—is kept very clean. The amenities are high quality as well. Above all, we had a small issue in our Room this time, and their response was outstanding. They came right away, identified the cause, and took appropriate measures. I was truly impressed by how considerate and supportive they were—more than enough to make up for any trouble. (It even made me want to write a Review for the first time.) There are minor inconveniences (all of which were explained in advance), but the cleanliness, hospitality, and handling of issues more than made up for them. This has become a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again next time.

We tried all three private baths, and each one was an excellent, invigorating Bandai mineral spring. Getting to the Yubatake area can be a bit challenging due to some steep slopes, but it makes for just the right amount of exercise after eating and drinking. The complimentary breakfast kamameshi was also delicious.

This was my second visit, and the meals were still delicious. The Onsen was clean, and I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace.

This was my second stay, and it was relaxing again. I have stayed at other accommodations in Zao Onsen several times, but this accommodation is highly recommended in every aspect—Onsen, meals, and price. During my previous stay, the elevator directly connected to the open-air bath was out of order, which was inconvenient. This time it had been repaired, making access from the room to the open-air bath smooth—I ended up using it five times. Both dinner and breakfast were served as set meals, and we were very satisfied with the quality and variety. We stayed as a family of three and felt refreshed in every way. We will definitely return. Both the cuisine and the service are excellent. The Room has a traditional Japanese farmhouse style, and we were able to relax.

We stayed here as two couples in our 70s. The Room and Facility were very clean and well maintained. The service was also good, but the Onsen was especially wonderful. The water was excellent, and we enjoyed it many times. We would love to stay again.

The Room I stayed in was very clean! The brochures on the desk were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was also spotless! It felt great when I entered the Room. Also, the shared kitchen was nice.

This was my first time staying here. Although I won’t go into details, there was a difference from what I had reserved, which initially left me confused. However, the staff responded quickly, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay. I feel it’s rare to find a Hotel that provides such pleasant service these days. We stayed as a couple. The bath had excellent water quality, and we were able to enjoy a very relaxing soak. We have stayed at various Accommodations in the past, but the cuisine at Juraku was truly delicious. Not only dinner but also breakfast was wonderful—everything was so good that I can’t even list what stood out most. As for alcohol, there was an all-you-can-drink service between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm (including during dinner), which was perfect for us as we love drinks! The staff were kind, and their polite service made us feel comfortable. Another highlight worth mentioning is the guest room key. It is an automatic locking/unlocking system, and the solid security made us feel safe throughout our stay. This was our first time staying in Obama Onsen, and it was an Accommodation we were very satisfied with. We would love to stay again. Also, the sunset during dinner was beautiful! The uphill walk from the station is definitely tough, but aside from that, we were satisfied. Since taxis sometimes don’t come to the station easily, we recommend planning accordingly depending on whether it’s a weekday or a weekend/holiday. Grilling dried fish and warming up fish cake was fun.

This was our first stay at Ayunosato. I had been interested in this Accommodation for a long time, but never had the chance until this visit. In conclusion, it was a far better Accommodation than I expected. I also liked that free drinks were available. As it is an Accommodation by the river, we were able to fully enjoy the view from the terrace. I have a big appetite, so it would have been perfect if there had been an à la carte menu, but I was still satisfied with what was offered. The lobby’s design and atmosphere were great, and the staff were kind and attentive, which we really appreciated. We were able to relax in the open-air bath in our Room, and I was impressed that the washing area even had heated flooring. Since there were two of us this time, we could stay in a spacious Room and enjoy it to the fullest. It’s also worth noting that it’s close to the expressway with very little driving required.
