Facing Miyuki Street, the surrounding area was easy to walk around. It was convenient to have a convenience store (Lawson) and the Shirahama Bus Center nearby. The unit bath includes a toilet with a bidet function. Wi‑Fi was available, but the signal showed only one bar. The door lock is secure, but it felt unusual to carry a standard key when going out. The Room was on the second floor, and there are only stairs, so please be careful if you have heavy luggage.

I visited here as a child, and the exterior hasn’t changed. It’s an old building, but the inside is very well cleaned and everything was spotless—especially the wooden hallways, which were shiny everywhere. The Onsen baths—the semi-open-air cave-style bath and the family bath with plenty of yunohana—were very hot, and I personally couldn’t get in without adding cold water. The large public bath was just slightly on the hot side. The meals were reasonably tasty—a typical mountain Ryokan menu with a bit more wild vegetables than usual. The grilled fish with soba miso in the photo was especially delicious. Because of the antenna, TV reception wasn’t good, so I’d really like this to be fixed. I heard this Ryokan has been operating for over 400 years, and I hope it continues for many years to come.

It was conveniently located near the station, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The Room was new, very clean, and comfortable to stay in. Although it was a self check-in, the owner was very courteous and communication was smooth, so I felt at ease during my stay. It was a wonderful Room that made even my first unmanned stay worry-free, and I would like to use it again.

Excellent access to the Shiga-Kusatsu Road. The Room was spacious and relaxing. The Onsen was very pleasant. The staff were kind and made us feel at ease.

This Accommodation offered pleasantly attentive service with just the right amount of distance, and we had a very comfortable stay. If you check the Facility details and amenities on the website in advance, I think you’ll find the price and service extremely satisfying. That said, the final road leading to the Accommodation is quite narrow, which was a bit nerve-racking… We booked a standard two-meal Plan, and both meals were delicious with plenty of river fish. It was my first time trying yamame trout sashimi, and even my son—who usually doesn’t like sashimi—was surprised and said, “I can eat this.” Also, just as other Reviews said, the kimchi (kakuteki) was outstanding. The bath at this Accommodation is not an Onsen, but there are 13 unique public baths just outside. Because of that, I felt that having an in-house bath where you can soak slowly at a comfortable temperature is definitely a plus. For rating purposes, however—since this is an Accommodation in Nozawa Onsen Village but not an Onsen—I deducted one star. Overall, this is an Accommodation with a very high level of satisfaction.

For a Room of this grade with an open-air bath and two meals included at this price, I personally have no complaints. If I had to mention one drawback, I could hear conversations from the neighboring Room quite clearly.

It was a very beautiful place, the food was delicious, and we had a very comfortable stay. If we had known earlier that the number of private baths differs between the lobby building and the Accommodation building, we could have enjoyed it even more.

We stayed for one night with the No Meals Included plan. My daughter wore a cute yukata that was available to borrow for free, and she was thrilled as we strolled around the Kinosaki Onsen town. After check-in, it’s best to choose your yukata right away! Quantities are limited, so the cute obi and cords may run out. The bath was spacious and relaxing, so we were very satisfied. If we have a chance to visit the area again, we would love to stay here once more.

I stayed here when I traveled alone to Morioka to see the cherry blossoms. The building is a bit old, but it was kept very clean, and the Room had been renovated and was comfortable. I can’t eat a lot, so I chose a plan with smaller portions at a lower price. The amount was just right, and I finished everything. The food was delicious. The view from the Room was amazing.

I stayed with my mother. It was our first time at Misasa Onsen, and it turned into a wonderful trip. We relaxed in the spacious Accommodation, enjoyed delicious meals, and felt that a trip like this once in a while is really nice. Everyone at the Ryokan was kind. The fireflies and the Onsen town at night were beautiful as well. Because it is free-flowing from the source, this is a luxurious complaint, but the Onsen water was quite hot and it took some time to get used to it (especially in the morning). We were told that each person gets one bath towel, so please note this if you plan to bathe multiple times. The scenery was beautiful, so I’d like to visit again in another season.

The best part was having free all-you-can-drink alcohol and other beverages available right in front of the reception after a long drive. The dinner buffet didn’t have an extensive variety, but it was satisfying, and here too, there was unlimited alcohol. The bath left my skin feeling smooth—such a great experience! Although the staff were foreigners, they were well-trained and very polite. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the weak Wi-Fi connection. Other than that, I was satisfied and would love to stay again!

Even during the busy Obon season, I was allowed to use a room by myself, and it was very comfortable. The staff were also pleasant, making it a welcoming Accommodation. The bath was spacious and very relaxing.

Right in front of Lake Toya, the view from the Room is outstanding. The Facility is old, but it is kept clean. There is no open-air bath, but the Onsen is free-flowing from the source, with a perfect temperature that lets you soak for a long time. The staff provided very pleasant service. We could see fireworks from the Room for about 20 minutes starting at 20:45. They were incredibly beautiful and amazing. It was an affordable stay, and we enjoyed a free-flowing Onsen straight from the source and even got to watch fireworks—I'm glad we stayed here on the last day of our Hokkaido trip.

It’s very close to JR Futsukaichi Station, so you can walk there even with luggage such as a suitcase. A flashy sign that looks like an imitation of Thomas is the landmark. The staff member who assisted us at check-in was also a foreigner, and was very polite. The Room feels like a studio apartment. There is a shoe cabinet, a washing machine, and the toilet is separate; the bathroom is a unit bath. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The closet is also large. There’s a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, and sink, so you can cook if you want. Detergent for both laundry and dishwashing is provided—please feel free to use it. The bed is a queen-size low bed. The mattress was as soft as a waterbed; if you like soft mattresses it’s great, but if you prefer something firmer it might hurt your lower back. There are mirrors in the bathroom or on the closet—two full-length mirrors—so when doing your hair or makeup (especially using a hair iron), there wasn’t an outlet nearby and there was no extension cord, which made it a bit difficult to style my hair right at the limit of the cord length. An outlet near the mirror would be convenient (though outlets near water may be unsafe). It’s inexpensive, clean, and convenient with a convenience store nearby. I’d like to stay again.

The owner was extremely kind, and it was a wonderful Accommodation.

During the Obon weekend, when most places were around 20,000 yen, we were able to stay here at a very reasonable price. Because it was inexpensive, we didn’t expect much from the Room or the meals, but the Ryokan has been renovated and the food left us completely full. The coffee in the lounge after breakfast was a delight. The staff were wonderful and even saw us off when we left. It turned into a very satisfying family trip.

There are very few Business Hotels in Yamashiro Onsen. Thanks to this Hotel, I was able to stay at an affordable price. I really appreciate that breakfast is free. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bath facilities were perfectly adequate for a business stay. The amenities are well stocked, which is a welcome service for women. Free tickets to the nearby public bath were provided, which I thought was a great service. You can also take your preferred shampoo and other items from those provided by the Hotel. The lighting in the Room has an adjustment that can get extremely bright—200 points. Doing office work in a dim Room is tough, so I felt they really understand what guests need. Next time I come to Yamashiro Onsen for work, I will stay here again. Thank you very much.

We stayed at “Yuzu no Yado Senrien” in Yunogo with our family and our beloved dog! The Room where we could stay with our dog was very comfortable, and we were truly happy that we could enjoy the delicious meals together the whole time. Usually on trips, our dog has to stay behind or we end up spending time apart, but this time our whole family could be together from start to finish and relax with peace of mind. Using the Accommodation as a base, just step out into the Onsen town and you’ll find everything packed into a charming, walkable area—an atmospheric shrine, footbaths to soothe tired feet, and stylish, cozy cafes. We were able to take a leisurely stroll at our dog’s pace and felt genuinely refreshed. With such warm hospitality and the best holiday spent together with the family (and our pup), it became an unforgettable memory that made us think from the bottom of our hearts, “We’re so glad we chose this place.” We also used a private bath inside the property with our dog. It was not an Onsen. It’s a favorite Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season!

Although I was a little taken aback at first by the ultra-stylish space designed by Kengo Kuma, that sense of stepping into another world only made it more exciting—and it turned into a truly enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were served in our Room. Even though this is an Onsen town, the sashimi was surprisingly fresh and delicious, and paired perfectly with local sake—leaving us pleasantly tipsy. There are four private baths on the first floor, and by timing it right we managed to try them all—both at night and in the morning! On top of that, there was an open-air bath on the third floor where we stayed, so we ended up completing all “five baths” (laughs). What impressed me most was the tofu served at breakfast. It’s freshly handmade tofu from Nogawa Tofu Shop nearby, which they start making from 3:00 a.m.—soft, fluffy, and genuinely delicious. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming as well, and I could truly relax. By chance it was Saturday night, so we also got to watch a Hanagasa Dance performance (about 15 minutes) right in front of the Accommodation. The interaction with locals felt heartfelt and authentic. Ginza Onsen itself isn’t overcrowded with tourist spots, so nights are quiet and time passes peacefully. With its magical atmosphere reminiscent of *Spirited Away*, this is the perfect Accommodation for anyone who wants to savor a calm yet luxurious getaway.
