From the warm welcome to the heartfelt send-off, we were truly satisfied with the hospitality. With the carefully designed interior and a beautiful garden view, we could freely enjoy a variety of delicious Ureshino cold teas, which helped us forget the heat. Dinner was delicately prepared with deep flavors and was beautiful to look at; even my mother, who has visited Onsen all over The whole country, was deeply moved. The bath in our Room was also a continuously flowing Onsen, and it felt wonderful. All of the staff were genuinely kind, and their smiles were soothing as well.

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality. We also truly appreciate the gift of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles for our grandchild. We were able to relax at leisure in the natural hot spring waters of Harazuru Onsen, and the meals—especially breakfast—were excellent. If the rate were a little more affordable, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit more often. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

The building is showing its age, but it is carefully cleaned, and the furniture and furnishings are well maintained. The ikebana arrangements are beautifully displayed and are said to be rearranged each time by the staff. The chef is from Nemuro and sources fresh seafood from there. The vegetables and meat are locally sourced from within Hokkaido. Every time, both the presentation and the flavor are excellent, and we enjoy our meal with genuine admiration. We plan to visit again next year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Only 10 Rooms on a spacious property. The grove garden right in front of you is a private view (guests cannot enter), giving you the true feel of a vacation home. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the semi-open-air bath in the Room, the open-air bath at the large public bath, and dinner featuring an array of premium ingredients considered luxurious in Japanese cuisine, as well as breakfast with just the right portion size. If we had to make one small request, it would be that the bath towels were a bit thicker.

We stayed here for a family trip during the Obon holidays. They kindly provided taxi pick-up and drop-off to Nagano Station, which was very helpful. The staff were attentive, and the facility was clean and pleasant, making our stay truly relaxing. The meals were also excellent. We would love to visit again in a different season. This time, my spouse and I traveled around Kumamoto by rental car with our two sons and stayed in Kurokawa Onsen. The atmosphere of the entire Onsen town was very calm—quiet, charming, and a wonderful place to relax at a leisurely pace. The quality of the Onsen water was excellent, and we felt deeply relaxed after bathing. The Ryokan staff were kind and attentive, and the Room was clean and comfortable. It was a very satisfying stay for our whole family and one of the most memorable highlights of our trip to Kumamoto. We highly recommend this Onsen destination for family trips as well.

I stayed here with my wife for our wedding anniversary. The Room and the in-room bath were very clean, and we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful time. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious no matter what we tried, and we were truly impressed. All of the staff were kind, and greeted us every time we saw them, so even though it was just a one-night stay, we felt very comfortable throughout. Relax in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, soak your feet in the footbath while drinking milk, and take your time admiring the stunning view through the large window from the Room. It was truly wonderful. The food was excellent; every dish was prepared with care by the head chef, and even the tableware was beautiful. The course meal came in just the right portions, and everything tasted great. The breakfast buffet was also all handmade with rich, thoughtful flavors. The Onsen was clean and well maintained, and I went in many times. The staff service was outstanding as well. Their spirit of hospitality showed even in the smallest details, and the service was excellent. My companion was very satisfied too. I felt it’s a Hotel where adults can relax and enjoy a luxurious stay. The 4.6-star rating wasn’t a lie. Unfortunately we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji this time, so I’ll visit again. It was also amazing to lie down and watch the clouds move through a picture-frame-like window. It really is a great Hotel.

Since the full renovation, every facility has been spotless. I was satisfied with everything, but I was especially surprised at how spacious all four private baths were—and they were impeccably clean. The water was excellent, with no unpleasant chlorine smell overpowering the sulfur scent. The Nordic-style sauna was also very relaxing. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. This is a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again.

A family trip with two families to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and my nephew’s birthday. The surprise cake at dinner made it a wonderful family memory. They also accommodated our food allergies, so we could enjoy the delicious meals with peace of mind. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality.

This was our second stay, as we stayed here last year as well. We loved the all-you-can-eat crab, so we came back again this year!! All the other food was also delicious, and I ended up having plenty of salmon roe even more than crab! The bath was wonderfully quiet when we went in early. I’m sure we’ll be back again next year.

The view from the Room was wonderful—we were moved to be able to take in the sea, mountains, and sunrise all at once, accompanied by birdsong. This Hotel is perfect in every way—from the Room size and hospitality to all services and cleanliness. It was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. I felt the price could easily be twice as high. Above all, it was calm and relaxing, with only Japanese adults staying there, which helped me truly unwind. I would love to visit again.

Both the Accommodation and the Room felt open and airy, and in a secluded, hideaway-like atmosphere, the staff’s warm smiles made my stay truly comfortable. You may get insects or leaves blowing in, but that’s only natural in such surroundings. Everything was kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me at all.
