We upgraded to a kaiseki meal with meat, and it was very delicious. The Room was a spacious 10-tatami room for three people, and we were very satisfied. The service was also excellent, and next to the entrance hall there were separate rooms for table tennis and billiards. Hearing guests’ cheerful voices created a lively atmosphere, which we enjoyed as well. It was also fun to roast and eat marshmallows in the hall, and there were plenty of books available. We would like to stay again.

As a travel-loving couple, we’ve recently been taking trips where we stay at a Hotel and eat at local restaurants, so this was our first Ryokan stay in a while. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the bath, and the food—and were able to relax and take our time. The Room was honestly too spacious for just two of us, but every space—the Japanese-style room, Western-style room, and bedroom—had its own charm and was wonderful. The bed was also extremely comfortable, and we slept soundly. We also enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker in the Western-style room; it had great sound quality and created an atmosphere that felt like being in a bar. The open-air bath in the Room had continuously flowing natural hot spring water, so we could soak right away after arriving and truly unwind. Dinner featured locally produced Aizu cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The recommended sake was delicious as well, and it was nice to be able to ask casually for suggestions while choosing. The pricing also felt very reasonable overall. If I had to mention one thing, breakfast was slightly disappointing: refills of rice or tea had to be requested via the in-room phone, and they took quite a while to arrive—so it would have been better if tea had been left in a pot. We were happy with the service too, and would love to visit again if we have the chance.

Perhaps because it was a weekday right after Golden Week, it wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast—everything was delicious. The Onsen was wonderful, and the staff were polite and kind. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again.

The Chikuma River view from the Room was beautiful. It was a Japanese-Western style Room, spacious and very relaxing. About a 2–3 minute walk from the Hotel, there is a convenience store and a footbath, which we enjoyed during an evening stroll. The bath temperature was not too hot and felt great. It was a bit disappointing that the open-air bath alternates between men and women by day. Since we stayed only one night, it was the women’s turn at night and the men’s turn in the morning. It seems the morning view was wonderful. All of the staff were very kind. Thank you.

I traveled solo for one night and two days from 9/6 to 9/7, and soaking in the water truly lived up to what you’d expect from Gero Onsen—I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. The meals were just the right amount, not too much or too little, and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, it rained so I couldn’t do much sightseeing, which was a bit disappointing, but I did make it to the morning market. I’d like to visit Gero Onsen again someday.

Our three-generation family had a wonderful time together. The kids really enjoyed the pool, fireworks, and the arcade. The newly renovated Onsen was also beautiful and brought back nostalgic memories from my own childhood.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. We stayed here while sightseeing in Azumino City and Nagano City. A few years ago we stayed at a different Hotel, but this Hotel is far better. The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff also made a great impression on us. Even my wife, who is usually quite critical, seemed very satisfied. We would like to stay at this Hotel again.

This time, it was her birthday on the day of our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a small mini cake plate for us, which was wonderful. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to use this accommodation again if I have the chance.

On the second day, heading from Nasu Highlands to Gunma Prefecture, we stayed at Route Inn Shibukawa. Upon arrival, several cars and motorcycles had already arrived, but we were lucky to park under the covered entrance. The next morning, I happened to look at the backyard and saw nearly 30 motorcycles parked, realizing its popularity. The room was neatly arranged, the large public bath was able to relieve the fatigue of the day, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Also, from arrival to departure, the staff who served us with smiles throughout, thank you very much for your hospitality. m(_ _)m

The hospitality was exceptional. While the Facility is old and the bath lacks notable features, the outstanding customer service more than made up for it. The attentiveness and care during check-in, check-out, and meals were truly pleasant, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This is professionalism at its finest—truly impressive.

The private open-air bath in the room had the perfect temperature, was very clean, and it was amazing to enjoy it while gazing at the full moon at night. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the room, allowing for a relaxing experience, and both meals were delicious and satisfying. The staff were kind and friendly, making our stay pleasant throughout. The only downside was that the shower in the reservation-only private bath had weak water pressure, which made it cold before getting into the bath. Other than that, it was a very satisfying stay where we could relax and forget about daily life.

We stayed as a group of four, with two Twin Rooms. The rooms were clean, charming, and very comfortable. We were especially surprised by the excellent value for the meals. Both the meat and sashimi were incredibly delicious. We would definitely love to stay here again!

I treated myself to a stay here. The simmered blackthroat seaperch was incredibly delicious, there was plenty of food, and it paired perfectly with the local sake. I was able to relax in a private room, the value for money was great, and I’d love to come again. Thank you very much!

It had been a while since I last visited Hokkaido. Because the price was reasonable, I didn’t have overly high expectations, but after actually staying here, it was a perfect 10/10. I would definitely like to stay again next time. I also want to recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much.

It was incredibly affordable, yet comparable to a Business Hotel costing around 10,000 yen. What I especially liked was being able to check the laundry availability on the in-room TV, which was very helpful. It was also great to be able to see dining information and other details. If I had one request, it would be for a large public bath.

Although the exterior looks a bit old, once you step inside it is wonderful, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. The open-air bath in the Room was extremely relaxing, and I ended up using it many times.\nUnfortunately, we ran into a typhoon on the way back and had to leave without seeing anything, but I would like to visit again when the weather is good.

We came here after staying at TAOYA Akiu the day before, and we liked this place much more. The Onsen bath in our Room was wonderful, and we ended up soaking in it many times. It was a shame we couldn’t use the karaoke because it was crowded during summer vacation. The next day our skin felt so smooth, and we’d love to come again.
