The open-air bath in the detached Accommodation was very relaxing, and I was able to enjoy a soothing soak without any worries. The meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and felt like authentic kaiseki cuisine. A staff member kindly came to the parking lot to help with our luggage and was very pleasant. I would love to stay again.

We arrived by taxi from Hakodate Airport. There is also a bus stop within walking distance, which is convenient. The meals were plentiful, and the squid in particular was delicious. It’s best not to expect much in terms of the view from the Room. There are two convenience stores nearby, and the refrigerator was empty so we could use it freely. The Onsen was excellent, with smooth, light water. Everyone—from the front desk to meal service and futon setup—was friendly and always smiling, which was wonderful. We will stay here again when we visit Hakodate.

As usual, I stayed here with my mother. It was very helpful that we didn’t have to walk much inside the Accommodation, and could use the elevator to get to the large public bath, dining room, and lounge. The interior has a calming feel, and the Room was comfortable to spend time in. The food was delicious; the buffet had a good selection without being overwhelming, and the freshly made tempura was excellent. It wasn’t too large, which made it easy for my mother as well. Since we had a long stay until 1:00 PM, we were truly able to relax. I’d love to visit again.

This was our first stay here to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. I’d been wanting to visit for a while, and I found an affordable Plan, so I made a Reservation. All the Rooms looked spacious with beautiful views, so I chose the “hotel’s choice” Plan and booked without specifying a Room. When we arrived at the Hotel looking forward to our stay, we were surprised with a suite! The weather wasn’t great, but it instantly lifted our spirits. The view from the open-air bath was wonderful, and dinner was absolutely delicious. In particular, both the fish and meat dishes had amazing sauces—we finished everything between the two of us. Breakfast was also excellent, including dried fish, and I even had seconds of the clam miso soup! The staff were very kind as well. Late at night we accidentally stained the sheets due to our own mistake, but when we contacted the front desk they came right away to replace them. They reassured us repeatedly by saying “It’s okay,” and I’m truly grateful for their quick response. The Room, the view, the food, and the staff—everything was outstanding hospitality. We had a wonderful day! We’d love to visit again for another special occasion. Thank you very much.

This was our first time in Inatori, and I stayed here with my elderly mother for the first time as well. There were six of us in total, including my wife and children. The food was incredibly delicious and everyone was very satisfied. Since my child’s birthday was coming up, we requested a cake, and they brought it out as an after-dinner surprise—my child was thrilled. My mother especially loved the open-air bath at the large public bath and happily went back and forth between our Room and the baths many times. I felt it was a wonderful way to show her appreciation. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so I’d like to bring her again on a clear day so she can enjoy the spectacular view from that open-air bath.

As we did last year, we stayed again this year for our cousins’ trip. Unfortunately, the weather was bad last year, but this year it was sunny, so we decided to definitely use Choraku’s pool. At check-in, we enjoyed delicious tea and sweets in the lounge, then rested a bit in our Room before heading to Choraku. We went into the pool (there were lots of children, but we still enjoyed it), and then used Choraku’s open-air bath. After returning, it was time for dinner. The meal was delicious again this time. The main dish at dinner was venison, which had no gamey smell and tasted great. There were also various drinks that paired well with the food, and this time we ordered the wine pairing. The price was very reasonable. After dinner we took a short break, then went back to Choraku to enjoy a mini concert. After returning, we had a nightcap in the lounge, took another bath, and went to bed. In the morning we woke up slowly, took another bath, and then had breakfast. This time we could choose between Japanese-style or Western-style breakfast; since the bread served here is incredibly good, we chose Western-style and asked for all types of bread so the three of us could share a little of each. We had tea in the lounge again, returned to our Room to pack up our belongings—and then it was already time to check out. The staff were pleasant, the Room was clean and comfortable—an easy Hotel to relax in—and since you can also enjoy Choraku’s Facilities and events as well, there’s plenty to do. We had another wonderful stay this time too. We’re planning our cousins’ trip here again next year as well—thank you in advance.

We stayed here to celebrate a proposal—one of life’s most important milestones. What impressed us most during our stay was the thoughtful attention from everyone, especially the person in charge. For the surprise proposal, they handled everything flexibly to match the situation, including preparing and handing over the cake and bouquet, which allowed me to feel at ease on the day. Thanks to that support, it became an unforgettable, truly wonderful time. Every dish was genuinely delicious, and the explanations were perfectly paced—not too long or too short—so we could enjoy not only the flavors but also the dining experience itself. The atmosphere inside the Accommodation and the views were also outstanding, and we were able to relax from the heart. Above all, we were so happy that their desire to make our stay memorable came through in every interaction. Thanks to them, both my partner and I naturally found ourselves saying, “Let’s definitely come back for anniversaries,” and it became two irreplaceable days for us. I am truly grateful that we could welcome such an important moment of our lives at this Accommodation. This is a wonderful Accommodation I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to spend special time with someone important—whether for a proposal or a wedding anniversary. Next time we visit, I hope we can return as husband and wife.

Everything was wonderful, and I was especially impressed by how spacious the private bath was. Of course, the bath in the Room was also very relaxing, the meals were delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive—I loved everything. If I could make just one indulgent request, I would appreciate it if you could offer more savory snacks in the lounge (I wouldn’t mind paying for them), rather than only sweet items.

This Accommodation, Sagamiya, was a wonderful place where we could truly feel traditional Japanese hospitality. As soon as we arrived by car, the staff noticed us right away and came out to assist, kindly helping us park with ease. They guided us to our Room, and the attendant came to greet us and made tea for us. These days we often stay at more Western-style Hotels, so it was a pleasure to enjoy this Japanese-style hospitality again after a long time. We enjoyed a delicious in-room meal in the tatami Room with a lovely view. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent, and even one night was enough to leave us feeling fully refreshed. All of the staff were very pleasant. We also appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—it felt reassuring that experienced staff could make good judgments on the spot. We would love to visit again.

I stay here every year when I’m in town for work. The food is delicious, and the staff are always welcoming, so I keep coming back every time. I look forward to staying again next time. (I’ll be sure to visit even when it’s not for work!)

I stayed one night at Sanga in Kurokawa Onsen, in the “Natsutsubaki” Room. Above all, the hospitality was outstanding, and the thoughtful attention—never intrusive—made my entire stay very comfortable. The meals were delicious and thoroughly satisfying. Although it rained during my stay, the damp weather only enhanced the Accommodation’s serene atmosphere, to the point that I felt I had actually come on a good day. The Room was kept very clean; given the natural setting, insects do appear from time to time, but I appreciated that insect repellent was properly provided. It’s an Accommodation I would love to stay at again.

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She requested to see the Onsen she had visited with my late father during their honeymoon, and also the snow monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park. We chose this Accommodation because Reviews repeatedly mentioned the private family bath and a homey, relaxing atmosphere. True to the Reviews, it was a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place. The warm glow of washi paper lamps displayed throughout was beautiful, and we could feel the proprietress’s thoughtful care in every detail. And the food—absolutely delicious! Dinner just kept coming (laugh). Every dish was freshly made and served hot. The best of all was the kake soba hand-made by the chef that very morning. I love soba and visit many places, but I’m sorry—this was truly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Breakfast also made us happy with piping-hot dashimaki tamago. The highlight of breakfast was the miso soup—I wanted to take home the whole pot. As we’ve gotten older, we choose our trips carefully based on both meals and Accommodation quality, and this place offered outstanding value for money. More than anything, we made unforgettable memories here. On our way out, I bought one of the lamps that were on display at the Accommodation as a gift for my mother. Thanks to you, it became the best birthday present possible. We’ll come again in winter—and again for her birthday next year too. The Room was comfortable, and the Onsen, meals, and hospitality from all the staff were wonderful, so we had a very pleasant stay. Overall, we were very satisfied. However, there was one disappointing point. When I made the Reservation in April, I requested that we be assigned a location with as little walking as possible because I was traveling with my elderly mother. Yet two days before our stay, we were informed that the lobby is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator up to the 2nd floor, but to reach our reserved Room on the 1st floor there are about 20 steps of stairs. By then it was already within the period when a Cancellation Fee would apply, so in the end my mother had to push herself and use the stairs. Given the property’s location and structure, I understand that having stairs cannot be helped. However, since I had mentioned at the time of Reservation that we wanted to minimize movement due to traveling with an elderly guest, it would have been more reassuring if you could have informed us then about access from the lobby to the guest Room. Because everything else—the Room, Onsen, meals, and service—was truly excellent, this was my only lingering regret. If you are staying with an elderly person or someone who is unsteady on their feet, I recommend confirming access to your Room when you make your Reservation.

The Onsen was wonderful. The guest room was clean and spacious. This is a Ryokan I would love to visit again.

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. The meals were simply outstanding. Not only the food but also the tableware was beautiful, and my wife—who loves dishes—was so inspired that she bought lots of Kutani ware during our sightseeing in Kanazawa the next day. It was my wife’s first time in Kanazawa, and she seems to have fallen in love with the city. With only four Rooms, it was quiet, and the bath was excellent as well. We truly enjoyed a relaxing adults-only getaway. We would love to return again, not just for anniversaries.

The building is a bit old, but the service, meals, and Onsen were all excellent. The staff’s warm hospitality made our stay truly wonderful. Thank you very much.

This stay was even better than before—the complimentary drink corner was more well-stocked, the available hours had increased, and an all-you-can-drink draft beer option had been added, which was great. Also, there is now a take-away coffee station after breakfast, which was a nice touch. However, the cup was quite hot to carry, so I would appreciate it if something could be provided to prevent the outside from getting too hot.\nI will stay again.\nThe woman who checked me in was also very pleasant and thanked me for staying with you several times.

From the welcome on arrival to checkout, the staff are consistently pleasant, and the proprietress’s attentive hospitality is impressive every time. The Ryokan is impeccably clean, and everything is well cared for throughout. The cuisine shows a clear commitment to quality ingredients—beautifully presented and delicious. It’s not just a place that serves many dishes; it delivers the satisfaction of dining at a proper kappo restaurant. After staying at other Accommodations in the same price range, you truly realize how outstanding this Ryokan is. Once you stay here, you’ll want to come back. It’s a bit far, but more than worth it—an exceptional Ryokan.
