The Onsen water quality was excellent. Since it was a very affordable Plan, I honestly didn’t expect much from breakfast, but it was delicious and satisfying—a well-balanced meal served in small portions. I will definitely stay again.

I had used the day-use hot springs several times before and fell in love with the water at first sight. Wanting to spend more time soaking in the water, I decided to stay at this accommodation this time! The staff at the accommodation were incredibly kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. It has become a place I definitely want to stay again!

The location is great, so the price is reasonable. With No Meals Included, there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and we enjoyed our stay. Most Ryokan in Yamaga are old and have a retro feel, but the staff were kind and helpful—they responded politely when we contacted them about arriving early and answered our questions with lots of useful information. After sightseeing, I came to like Yamaga even more.

Soaking in the Onsen surrounded by nature is truly uplifting. Just an hour from Nagoya is also a plus.

It exceeded my expectations. The meals were delicious, and the baths were operated on a private-use rotation at all three locations that day, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing Onsen and spend a truly luxurious time. The staff were also very pleasant.

We stayed for one night and two days. The room was compact but very clean, with well-equipped amenities. The bedding was crisp, and the yukata provided in the room was made of sturdy fabric, allowing us to wear it outside comfortably. Each person received two sets of bath towels, along with a bathrobe and pajamas, so we had everything we needed. Since our room included a private open-air onsen, we could enjoy a relaxing soak anytime we wanted. As this accommodation is exclusively for no meals included stays, we were initially concerned about meals; however, its convenient location allowed us to dine out without reservations both in the morning and evening. Even during Obon season, staying here cost only 30,000 yen per person per night—affordable and made for an enjoyable trip!

We stayed for three to four days from the holiday period into the weekdays. We informed them in advance about a food allergy, and they kindly accommodated us. They seem to be running the place with a small team, so they looked very busy, but all the staff were cheerful, kind, and served us with smiles. The private family bath in the annex for day-use visitors was a nice change of pace, but the slightly hot Onsen in the main building was wonderful. We would like to visit again if we have the chance.

I made a reservation with meals at a Ryokan for the first time. The guidance to the room, explanations, meal service, and futon preparation were all smooth. The atmosphere was nice, and it was conveniently close to the sea. The Onsen and private bath were excellent, allowing for a very pleasant stay. I would love to stay again! Thank you very much!

A year after falling ill, I was finally feeling well again and truly enjoyed the soft-shelled turtle dishes. I did wish the portions were a bit larger, but considering the price, it felt reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied.

To drive along National Route 252 by the Tadami Line, I made a Reservation at this Accommodation in Aizu-Yanaizu, the gateway town. At first, only the No Meals Included Plan was available, but after calling to confirm eligibility for Fukushima travel support discounts, they kindly changed it to a Plan with both dinner and breakfast. The location is excellent in central Yanaizu, and you can park across the street at a free public parking lot. On arrival in the lobby, I was welcomed with an iced coffee welcome drink, and arranging a time for the private open-air bath as well as meal times went smoothly. My Room was a 6-tatami Japanese-style room on the third floor (no elevator). It was more than spacious enough for one person, very clean, and equipped with a sink and refrigerator. The toilet is shared (separate men’s/women’s) on the same floor. For Onsen bathing, there is a private rooftop open-air bath and separate men’s/women’s indoor baths on the fourth floor. The open-air bath feels handmade and doesn’t offer much of a view, but what truly impressed me was the indoor bath: fresh water continuously overflowing from the source (free-flowing), a cloudy sodium chloride spring with abundant volume at just the right temperature—far better quality than expected. Dinner is served at a modern soba restaurant created by renovating a storehouse behind the Accommodation. The main Sarashina soba had great texture and was excellent overall, including the warm chicken-and-burdock dipping broth. That said, it was disappointing that the appetizer tempura had gone cold, and I felt that adding something local such as basashi (horse sashimi) would make it even more satisfying. In that case, choosing No Meals Included and ordering freely from the restaurant menu could also be a good option. Breakfast is prepared in a private room next to the lobby; along with juice or soup, you receive a plate centered on bread and rice. Service is attentive, though opinions may differ on value for money depending on expectations. At 11,000 yen at full price it invites comparison with nearby Accommodations around here; however after discounts my satisfaction level was more than adequate. Above all else،the cleanliness throughout иandthe owner’s sincere、warm hospitality were outstanding—an Accommodation I can recommend even to Tadami Line travelers without а car.

We stayed for one night and had a wonderful time. The building is old, but it feels clean and well maintained. Dinner was the Pine course, featuring grilled dancing abalone and snow crab. Each dish was carefully prepared—delicious and beautifully presented with vibrant colors. The portions were more than enough, but we enjoyed everything. The baths are small individually, but we were able to enjoy four unique types of baths and spend a relaxing time together as a couple.

Among the few pet-friendly accommodations, I chose a no-dinner plan as I had plans during the day and checked in late. Prioritizing cost-effectiveness since it was just for staying overnight. The room was well-cleaned, had a sense of cleanliness, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious enough, leaving me very satisfied, making this accommodation a definite choice for repeat visits. The onsen at the external bathhouse was also excellent. We stayed as a family of three and were very satisfied with the sophisticated soba-based creative cuisine and excellent service. The facility is simple, making the price reasonable, and it was impeccably clean. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again and again.

Thank you for your hospitality. The dining area was a bit cold, and while the food was delicious, I felt that if you mistimed eating the hot dishes, they cooled down quickly. The bath had a high flow of natural hot spring water, making it very pleasant to enjoy.

The manager was cheerful, and the staff were pleasant and refreshing. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, and the furnishings in the large hall were of very high quality. For some reason, only the scale showed double my actual weight. Thank you again, and I look forward to staying with you next time.

This is a Ryokan where you can fully enjoy a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. Service was handled mainly by just two people: the proprietress and someone who seemed to be the manager. Aside from us as a couple, there was only one family of three, so we felt they probably accept only about four groups per day. The building is said to be nearly 100 years old, so some age is unavoidable, but the toilets had washlets and Wi‑Fi worked as well. We had no particular inconveniences. Both the kaiseki dinner and the Shokado bento breakfast were delicious, and since we had recently grown tired of large buffet halls, we were very satisfied. There are three Onsen baths including an open-air bath; we used two of them. At first the water was a bit too hot to get in right away, but we adjusted it by adding cold water. The water quality was good. It may not suit those who prioritize newness and convenience, but for those from the Showa generation it felt nostalgic and was more than satisfying as an Accommodation. We were a little worried because there are extremely few Reviews, but we’re glad we stayed here.

I stayed at the accommodation on the day of the fireworks festival. I watched from the rooftop balcony of the hotel on a hill, but unfortunately, the lower half was obscured by trees and plants. However, the meals were excellent. Dinner included a variety of delicious dishes that were almost too many to finish, and breakfast featured a large grilled golden-eye snapper. I would love to stay again to enjoy the meals.

Good Points: - The building is well-constructed, so noise from neighbors or upstairs was hardly noticeable. - The staff paid attention to details, which was greatly appreciated. - The Room was odorless and clean. - Wi-Fi worked properly. - My request for a low pillow was accommodated perfectly. Areas for Improvement: - All the towels seemed to have an oily film and did not absorb water as well as new towels would. A fellow guest at the bath also mentioned that they had never encountered towels with such poor absorbency before. - The mirror was folded inside the closet, and I only noticed it at checkout when I wanted to use it. It would be helpful if it were placed in a more noticeable location.

The Room is in an old Ryokan but is well-cleaned. Soundproofing is minimal. The bath was excellent.

The owner of the Accommodation seems deeply devoted to the Onsen and handed me an Onsen analysis sheet at the front desk—something I’d never experienced before. The main rock bath had a wonderful atmosphere and there were three tubs, but all of them were too hot for me to soak in. I barely managed to get into the deep bath at the front for about 10 seconds a few times. I understand the desire for guests to enjoy the free-flowing natural hot spring water, but it was a bit intense for me. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the smaller gourd-shaped bath and went in three times. The meals were modest but more than enough, and especially the soba was delicious. The toilet in my Room was modern and comfortable. The building is very spacious and must be difficult to maintain, but I hope they will continue doing well for many years to come.
