Kameoka is a major production area for Kyoto vegetables and has long been called the "kitchen of Kyoto" due to its abundance of ingredients. We offer Japanese cuisine and Italian dishes that make use of these ingredients (advance Reservation required). Additionally, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, allowing you to dine out or bring in ingredients to cook in your Room freely. Kameoka is approximately 20 minutes from JR Kyoto Station. Additionally, the characteristic scenery of the Kameoka Basin, where the morning mist and sunrise create a sea of clouds resembling red waves, inspired the name as a word that encapsulates the essence of Kameoka.
