From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

I chose this place to treat my mother to the Summit Dinner Course for her birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful presentation and the taste! The view from the Room on the 3rd floor and from the bath was also wonderful. Since we had an elderly family member with us, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a non-slip mat in the tub and a chair. We were extremely satisfied, and our whole family had a truly happy time. Thank you so much!

I have stayed here several times. Every visit, I’m impressed by the warm service, the simple and spotless Room, and the soothing greenery—my satisfaction is always extremely high at this Hotel. While service standards at Hotels across Japan have been declining due to staff shortages, this Hotel continues to uphold the tradition of classic hospitality and could serve as a model for Hotel professionals nationwide. I would love to visit again next summer.

We stayed again this year for my husband’s birthday. We were able to relax in the wonderful lounge and enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the beautiful views of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens. Even though we hadn’t mentioned it this time, they still celebrated his birthday, which made us very happy. This is a Hotel we love—thoughtful in every detail and one we want to return to again and again.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

A beautiful Japanese-modern building and an impressive, spacious interior. Japanese aesthetics can be felt throughout, and it was a wonderfully comfortable stay—“spacious, yet instantly relaxing.” The welcome service at CAFE SKY LIBRARY was excellent, and we were truly impressed by the staff’s understated hospitality. The large public bath and sauna were also very comfortable, allowing us to unwind and recover from travel fatigue. Getting to the airport was smoother than expected thanks to the moving walkways. We were even able to enjoy shopping at the airport early the next morning. When traveling in Hokkaido, this is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at as our final stop.

The meals were delicious, and having a private family bath allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. I was happy that yukata-style loungewear was provided. I did feel the waistband elastic could have been a bit tighter, but it was still comfortable to wear. We could sense thoughtful attention in many little details, which made us feel warmly welcomed. This was my second stay. Once again, I felt the staff’s warm hospitality in so many moments, and it made for a truly wonderful visit. Both dinner and breakfast for solo diners were delicious. Since this trip also celebrated my mother’s birthday, I was especially looking forward to the cake I had requested. It looked beautiful, the figs were wonderfully fresh and juicy, and it was genuinely delicious. It was light and easy to eat, so even though we were full after dinner, we finished it in no time. I also loved the welcome amenity sweets so much that I bought some to enjoy after my stay. I had planned to take the herbal cordial home as well, but after trying a sample I couldn’t stop—I ended up drinking it all during my stay because it was that good! At breakfast, the carrot smoothie left a particularly strong impression. It was sweet and delicious—I even looked up the same one afterward. Everything—from the food to the amenities—showed such care and attention to detail that they were things I wanted to keep enjoying even after leaving. I also used the bath salts included as a Well-being Room benefit right away; they warmed me from deep within and felt wonderful. The bed was very comfortable too. I usually have trouble falling asleep when traveling, but this time I drifted off quickly. One small point: I found the lighting controls a bit hard to understand. At night, I wanted to turn on only the toilet light, but couldn’t get it to work as intended and felt a little confused. If it were more intuitive, it would be even more comfortable. Once again, we had such a relaxing time together and made lovely memories with my mother. We would love to return.

Our group of 10 family members across three households stayed here. The Facility and amenities were well equipped, and the children especially spent all their time playing in the pool and jacuzzi. Everyone was very satisfied, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a very comfortable Hotel. It truly felt like Greece on the Aegean Sea—and it was so clean!! The welcome drink was luxurious, too. The small lobby was also very relaxing. Breakfast was included, and because we had an early activity, they opened earlier than the regular hours. They also learned it was our wedding anniversary trip and gave us a gift, which really warmed our hearts. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and I’ll never forget how beautiful the moon and stars looked from there! Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay again. Next time, we’d like to take our time and stay longer. Thank you very much!

How many places are there where a feudal lord’s residence still remains at the very heart of the town even today? Being able to stay as a guest in such an estate, and to take in the buildings and gardens—things that would have been impossible to see 100 years ago—to your heart’s content, made for a fascinatingly luxurious time where you can feel history and changing eras up close. It was an Accommodation experience unlike anything I had ever had before. The guest building was new and spotless, with drinks and amenities well provided, making it very comfortable to stay.

We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. The female staff member at reception during check-in impressed me with her proactive, exemplary hospitality. I stay at Hotels for a change of pace, and this Hotel made me feel at ease in every way—facilities, staff, and overall comfort—with no small discomforts. It was part of the Plan, but I gladly took them up on it and stayed for 24 hours. At reception, they said, “Please let us know if there is anything you need,” showing a positive attitude. At the restaurant as well: “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” They even asked, “Did you sleep well?” You don’t often hear that elsewhere. It had been a while since I stayed at a major international chain Hotel, and their training truly showed. The Room design is also charming. I can see why it’s popular with guests from both Japan and abroad.

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I was finally able to stay this time. Unfortunately, because of the rain there was no goat welcome, but I enjoyed a champagne welcome drink in the lobby and headed to my Room feeling excited. The Room was very spacious and impeccably clean, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The fog was quite heavy so the view wasn’t very clear, but I was told you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. I also really appreciated the complimentary free-flow drinks in the refrigerator. I requested refills of various items such as half bottles of champagne and water. The bath is an Onsen, with a faint sulfur scent and just the right temperature. It wasn’t an open-air bath, but opening the window made it feel wonderfully airy. It was also my first time staying in a Room with a sauna (with cold plunge), and it was a great experience—I worked up a good sweat and truly enjoyed it. Dinner was thoughtfully prepared across every dish and absolutely delicious! The wine pairing was excellent as well, and I had a wonderful time until the very end. For a late-night snack, we were served conger eel sushi—far beyond what you’d expect for “late-night,” truly authentic. I enjoyed it with another refill of champagne. For breakfast we chose in-Room dining; the pork miso soup was especially delicious, and being able to have seconds left me completely satisfied. Above all, the staff were courteous with just the right sense of distance while still being incredibly attentive—checking on drink replenishments in our Room and more—which made for an excellent stay. I would love to return for another stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate an anniversary with close friends! The stylishly designed living area and the Room with a sauna were absolutely perfect for a girls’ trip. If we have the chance, we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much!

First of all, the dining was outstanding. We tried the French, teppanyaki, and sushi restaurants, and everything was perfect. If these were in a city, each would be a hugely popular spot. All the staff were kind, and you can really feel their dedication to welcoming guests. The Room had a large glass wall facing the ocean, and we had an amazing time on the balcony—enjoying coffee while looking out at the sea and having breakfast there as well. The pool is generously sized, so you can swim properly. We enjoyed going back and forth between the pool and the jacuzzi in the bath area all day long. It truly felt like paradise at this Hotel. We plan to return many times.

This Hotel impressed us in every way—hospitality, Facility, everything. At check-in, a staff member even came out to the parking lot to greet us. While enjoying a welcome drink, we received a thorough explanation of the property. The kids were beyond excited about how spacious and spotless the Room was, and about the view. There were thoughtful loan items such as card games, so not only the children but also we parents had a great time. We were also happy to find ReFa straightening and curling irons and a SHARP drum washer-dryer permanently installed, with detergent provided as well. The cleaning was impeccable down to every corner—truly impressive! (We stayed at another luxury Hotel the night before and noticed uncleaned areas and even flies, but here there was nothing like that—everything was beautiful.) At night, we relaxed by floating in the pool while gazing at the stars. And then breakfast—again, amazing: tender Wagyu steak in the morning and carefully prepared dishes using local ingredients. We had mentioned it was an anniversary trip, and they even prepared a cake and drinks for us. Every staff member was polite and warm; our 6-year-old son says it’s “the best Hotel ever.” I didn’t know Kouri Island could be such a wonderful place. We would absolutely love to stay again—with this Hotel as our main reason for coming back.
