This is a long-established Ryokan at Kawayu Onsen, where Onsen springs flow from the riverbed. It is the closest Ryokan to the large open-air bath "Sennin-buro," which is available from December to February every year. In November 2008, we opened three "Kumano Modern Rooms," guest rooms with open-air baths and foot baths inspired by the bamboo, wood, and earth of Kumano. Enjoy the ultimate relaxation of a foot bath while overlooking the river's open-air bath and the Sennin-buro (available from December to February). Additionally, a private open-air bath with a reclining bath was also opened in November 2008. All Rooms face the river, allowing you to fully experience the natural beauty of Kumano.
