The buffet selection was very extensive, every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. Our Room had an ocean view, the scenery was wonderful, and we were able to relax comfortably. There were also various types of baths, each with a different atmosphere, and we enjoyed them very much. As it is all-inclusive, it’s an especially appealing stay for those who enjoy alcohol. Since we don’t drink much, that part felt a bit wasted for us; however, we understood this in advance when booking, and the complimentary soft drinks and other beverages were plentiful, so it wasn’t inconvenient. One thing we noticed was the in-Room amenities: items such as toner were provided for only one person. We felt it would be more comfortable if they were prepared for the number of guests. Overall, we were highly satisfied with the food, views, and baths alike—it was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again.

Our First Visit to Ubud no Mori All of the staff were incredibly kind and spoke to our dog so warmly. Thanks to them, we felt welcomed and comfortable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—we were more than satisfied!! We even got to enjoy the late-night soba, which made the evening even happier. Being able to relax and have such a wonderful time with our dog became a truly special memory for us. We would love to visit again! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. I stayed in a private Room with an open-air bath on the 7th floor. The Room was impeccably cleaned, and everything—from the air conditioning to overall comfort—was flawless. The in-room open-air bath, available 24 hours a day, was at the perfect temperature, and I could soak at my leisure to complete satisfaction. Above all, the dinner and breakfast were truly lavish! The taste was perfect, and each dish was thoughtfully crafted and a delight to look at as well. It’s also conveniently located near the shopping arcade, Dogo Onsen Honkan, and the tram station, making it very easy for sightseeing around Matsuyama City. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

It was my first time in a while staying at this Accommodation. This time, the Room had a free-flowing Onsen bath, and with the large public bath as well, I was able to enjoy many baths—truly an Onsen-filled stay. The meals were delicious, and a woman who had come from overseas for training was very friendly and attentive, which made dining even more pleasant. However, it was raining heavily at check-in, so I felt a little disappointed that no one came out to greet me with an umbrella.

On my way back from a business trip to Tokyo, I planned a visit to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, which I had long wanted to see. I stayed one night at an Accommodation in Kinugawa Onsen. I chose it after searching with conditions such as having an in-Room Onsen bath and being reasonably priced. The lobby was well maintained, and the hallways were very clean as well. Our Room had an Onsen bath and two separate rooms, so my wife went to the large public bath while I enjoyed the in-Room bath. The meals were very delicious, and the portions were just right—slightly on the generous side. It was a quiet Accommodation where I could relax in the Onsen, which was wonderful. Many of the staff seemed to be from overseas, but everyone was polite and courteous. One thing that concerned me was that when I opened the window by the in-Room bath, there were quite a few spider webs. Also, insects gathered on the window at night so we couldn’t open it; I thought that if there had been a screen door or similar, we could have opened it. If I have another chance to visit nearby, I would like to stay again.

From the welcome pineapple cider, beer, and simmered yam konnyaku to a feast of Yamagata specialties, we were completely full! Dinner was served in beautiful dishes that made everything even more appetizing. The post-bath lounge had a wonderful atmosphere, the massage chairs were very comfortable, and we really appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks. Of course, the baths were spacious and very relaxing! In the morning, the breakfast ramen was delicious. I chose rice porridge instead, and with so many side dishes I was very satisfied. The watermelon was sweet and tasty too.

Because I was traveling with my elderly mother (in her 80s, with lower back pain), I consulted in advance, and they provided a rollaway bed in our Room and also brought in a table for in-room dining. Instead of taking the garden path with stairs to the entrance as usual, a staff member picked us up by car at the parking lot, and we entered through the rear entrance on the 4th floor. Since our Room had a private bath, my mother felt at ease and was able to soak comfortably. Even when the water was hot, she could adjust it with cold water and enjoy several baths. The meals were on the Standard Plan, but every dish was easy to eat, delicious, and more than enough in quantity. The trainee also explained each dish carefully and kindly offered to take photos for us. We were able to relax very peacefully during our stay. Just one thing: because there was a step down at the toilet entrance, I felt it might be a little unsafe for elderly guests; it would be better if it were flat or had a ramp. This time we spent most of our time in the Room, but if we have another opportunity to stay again, we would like to enjoy the garden and the open-air bath as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the free-flowing open-air hot spring bath, even though it was just a one-night stay. Dinner was also just the right amount, with a modest portion size. We previously stayed in Oku no Ki-ki as a couple, but the Room felt too large for us and the outside view was somewhat limited (the garden), so it didn’t quite suit us. This time, however, those points were just right and we were able to relax. One small thing I noticed was that when we closed the windows completely at night to sleep, there was a distinctive smell typical of a Japanese-style room (perhaps). The attendant was also very courteous and left a great impression.

We stayed for two nights with our adult son and daughter, as a couple, and our 7 kg dog. The Room size was just right—not too big or too small. At night we laid out the futons, played cards, and enjoyed relaxing family time together for the first time in a while. There is an indoor dog run in the building, and an outdoor dog run right in front of the Accommodation; both were clean and felt safe to use. Above all, every dish was delicious. I wanted to eat everything, but there was so much food—in the best way possible. The whole simmered golden eye snapper, yellowtail shabu-shabu, grilled meat, sashimi, and various small side dishes were all excellent. All staff were polite and very pleasant, making it easy to talk with them. If I had to mention minor points: I would have liked a brief explanation of the Facilities at check-in, and it was disappointing that the self-serve coffee machine only dispensed hot water. If I’m being picky, I personally would have liked welcome sweets and a box of tissues in the Room. My husband and son said it would be perfect if there were a sauna in the bath (lol). We were also very happy about the complimentary beer and shochu service for the Obon holiday period. Overall, this was an excellent Accommodation for staying with family while bringing a dog. We’d love to return.

I was looking for a Room with an open-air bath and in-room dining. About a 45-minute drive from Kanazawa, with a zoo and the mysterious Hanibe Gankutsu-in nearby, it felt like the perfect place for the first night of our 2-night, 3-day trip, so we decided to stay here. First, when we arrived about 10 minutes past check-in time, everyone was waiting outside in this heat, and since we weren’t used to that kind of welcome, we felt truly apologetic (lol). I was surprised by how vast the grounds were—our Room was spacious, and best of all, it had the semi open-air bath I’d been hoping for! Having a dedicated staff member (?) take care of us throughout our stay also made us feel at ease. This time it happened to be my companion’s birthday month… and when I casually mentioned it, they gave us a birthday gift at dinner. On top of that, the proprietress even put on a surprise (no spoilers), which made it such a fun and memorable experience. We heard the meals change daily, so I think even a Multiple Night Stay would be enjoyable. There are also two large public baths that are more than enough to enjoy even without an in-room bath—we were able to relax and unwind. Above all, we really appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff. In the end everything worked out well, but since it was their birthday month I requested an additional dinner item in advance; however, on the day we were told that if we ordered that menu they would like to serve dinner not in our Room but in another private dining room instead. Since I had been looking forward to in-room dining as well, I would have appreciated being informed at the time of ordering that this might happen. That said, the room they prepared for us was private—and actually it worked out better for messy people like us because we didn’t have to rush around tidying up before dinner—so we were very satisfied. Next time I’m thinking of visiting during my own birthday month so I can experience the proprietress’s surprise again. Thanks to you all, it turned into a wonderful Kanazawa trip. We were able to relax in a quiet setting surrounded by nature. The spacious open-air bath attached to the Room was very comfortable, and we could unwind in the Onsen water. The amenities (especially ReFa) were excellent. We also enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the Room at a leisurely pace with our family.

We stayed here for a family trip with my parents. At check-in, the staff explained the building while we enjoyed the beautiful garden view, which helped us understand the Accommodation even better. The welcome sweets and tea we were served were also delicious. As I am pregnant, I mentioned that I was avoiding caffeine, raw foods, and alcohol. They kindly switched the coffee prepared in our Room to decaf, provided non-caffeinated sword bean tea, and changed the tea served with meals to black soybean tea. I was truly impressed by their warm hospitality. Dinner was excellent as well. They even accommodated me with a separate menu, and I really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was delicious, the portions were just right, and it was a wonderful meal overall. The private Onsen in our Room could be enjoyed 24 hours a day whenever we liked, which was fantastic. My parents seemed very satisfied too. This was our last family trip before our baby arrives, and we are truly glad we chose to stay here. Once things settle down, we would love to return and stay in a different Room as well.

We were welcomed with the staff’s bright smiles at check-in. The Room was spacious and clean. As always, no matter where we met them, the staff greeted us with a smile, and the team at the dinner venue did as well. Their smiles are truly warm hospitality.

I felt it was a classic, charming old Japanese Hotel. The building’s presence, the restaurant, the guest rooms, and the interior were all wonderful. I stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The food was just as delicious as what you’d find at Hotels in Tokyo, and they kindly accommodated my dietary dislikes so I could fully enjoy the meals. All of the staff provided excellent service, and I felt everything throughout my stay was great. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

After laughing at Toyokan for my friend’s birthday, we stayed here to relax. They even prepared a birthday gift for us—thank you very much. In the evening, we spent time in the lounge on the 10th floor while enjoying Japanese sweets. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, so we could use it comfortably without worry. We had breakfast at View Hotel. It was a very satisfying stay, and my friend was delighted.

This Hotel is directly connected to Iyotetsu Matsuyama-shi Station, which was convenient since I planned to take an express bus the day after my stay. The Room and the large public bath were both very clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which included local specialties (Uwajima-style sea bream rice and five kinds of mandarin orange juice). Since I enjoyed Onsen at Dogo Onsen Honkan, I only needed a place to stay and a good breakfast, so I was very satisfied and felt it offered great value for money.

The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

In many ways, an easy-to-use Hotel.

My spouse and I had some time off, so we made a spontaneous Reservation and stayed here. We arrived by car, and staff were waiting in front of the Hotel to guide us, so parking was smooth. They also carried our bags, and I was surprised by how courteous they were. The front desk staff were also polite and left a great impression. Because of that, we ended up booking a private Onsen. The staff on duty from evening through morning were very kind as well. They even showed us a rare video of a Japanese serow and shared lots of interesting stories about it, which made us very happy. The Onsen was extremely relaxing, and the breakfast staff were friendly too. We came to heal our bodies, but our hearts felt refreshed as well. We also had great weather at Gozaisho. Next time, I’d like to bring my mother too. Overall, it was such a pleasant Hotel and incredibly soothing. Thank you very much.
