Yamato Ryokan, which began as a tofu shop, serves handmade firm tofu every day. In addition to tofu dishes, we also offer Kumamoto’s specialty horse meat, including lava-grilled horse tenderloin and soy-milk horse shabu-shabu.

Located at the foot of Afuri Shrine and Oyama Temple, long cherished for Oyama pilgrimages, our Property began as a lodging for Oyama-ko pilgrims. Records show that during the Edo period, Oyama welcomed 200,000 visitors annually, and our Property, situated along the pilgrimage path, has greeted and seen off many worshippers. Carrying on the traditions of the past, we strive daily to preserve and share the history of wild boar hot pot. At our Property, you can enjoy handmade dishes that maximize the flavors of Oyama specialties like tofu and wild boar hot pot, as well as relax in baths filled with Oyama's pure spring water. The Property, boasting over 400 years of history, is conveniently located in the mountains, ideal for sightseeing. Ureshino Onsen is renowned as one of Japan's "Three Great Onsen for Beautiful Skin," leaving your skin smooth and moisturized after bathing. Its rare spring quality in Japan is a high-temperature, colorless, transparent "bicarbonate spring." Rich in sodium, the water feels like a beauty serum, gently smoothing rough and dry skin while leaving it hydrated.The mildly alkaline water offers various health benefits, including relief from neuralgia, rheumatism, skin conditions, and fatigue recovery. Enjoy this famous hot spring to your heart's content as it has long been cherished as a therapeutic retreat.Additionally, with our recent renovation, you can now enjoy exclusive "bath-time music" created by musician Shigeru Kishida for the semi-open-air bath. The evening-to-night track "Vigorously Bubbling Hot Spring" and the morning bath track "Emerging Hot Spring" are each approximately 15 minutes long. These ambient compositions harmonize with natural sounds such as wind rustling through trees, birdsong, and dripping water to enhance the soothing experience of bathing in the Onsen.

Dorogawa Onsen, a historic hot spring that began as a lodging to host practitioners visiting the sacred peak "Ōmine-san," a World Heritage site. This is the oldest property in the area, with a history of 500 years. You can fully enjoy the unique nostalgia, charm, and culture of Dorogawa.

Just a step into an alley from Kyoto Station, you will find our Property located on the stone-paved "Kyoto Ryokan Street." It is about a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it a convenient location for business, sightseeing, and shopping. The tatami mats in the guest rooms are made of rush grass, allowing you to enjoy their natural fragrance. The bath uses water drawn from underground, known for its gentle and soothing qualities. For breakfast, we offer a variety of side dishes that pair perfectly with rice. You can also choose between two options: tofu with a savory sauce or porridge with yuba (tofu skin).

A property that emphasizes homely hospitality. For dinner, you can enjoy Koyasan's signature dishes such as "Koya Tofu" and "Sesame Tofu." Especially, the sesame tofu is prepared by removing the sesame husk, resulting in a smooth and rich flavor. Additionally, rice cooked with mountain water is highly praised. This is "Tsuchiyu Bettei Sato no Yu," a property with nine rooms located in Tsuchiyu Onsen, Fukushima Prefecture.Despite being a small property, all three natural hot spring baths on the premises are private, allowing you to enjoy your stay without concern for other guests, feeling as comfortable as at home.Additionally, Sato no Yu is situated in a gorge within Bandai-Asahi National Park, surrounded by untouched virgin forests, enabling you to experience the changing seasons throughout the property.
