The main building of the Hotel, a renovated "Nara Prefectural Governor's Residence" originally built in the Taisho era, houses a restaurant where you can fully experience the terroir and culinary history of Nara, as well as a sushi bar utilizing a traditional storehouse. Additionally, the Hotel's grounds include a Japanese garden where you can enjoy the beauty of each season, providing Facilities that ensure a seamless travel experience.

Minpaku Inariyama is an accommodation located on the quiet hillside of Inariyama, surrounded by bamboo groves and offering a pristine natural environment. Historically, this area was part of the Fujiwara family's estate and was considered sacred ground where many monks offered daily prayers to the deity of Inari. The name "Bōzan" (Monk's Mountain) originates from this history, as explained by the priest of Fushimi Kamitaka Shrine nearby.Our accommodation is ideal for exploring Fushimi Inari Taisha's numerous otsuka (sacred mounds) and spiritual sites. It takes about 18 minutes on foot to reach Fushimi Inari Taisha via Takenoshita Path, a bamboo-lined trail inaccessible to cars. Along the way, you can visit famous power spots such as Fushimi Kamitaka Shrine, Kōbō Falls, Myōbūsha Shrine, and other mystical otsuka before arriving at the iconic Senbon Torii gates. From there, turning right leads you to Kumataka Shrine—Fushimi Inari Taisha’s top power spot—while turning left takes you in just one minute to Okusha Hohai-sho with its Omokaru Stone. Kumataka Shrine and Fushimi Kamitaka Shrine are two major power spots representing Mount Inari; we highly recommend visiting them.Additionally, our accommodation offers free parking facilities, making it an excellent base for sightseeing in Kyoto by car. KANAU is a hotel and restaurant that opened in April 2019 after renovating the nationally designated Important Cultural Property, "Kanau Former Imperial Residence." Located quietly along the clear stream of the Nyu River in Wada, northern Nishiyoshino Village, Nara Prefecture, this historic site dates back to the Jōkyū War of 1221. At that time, Fujiwara Tansan, who served as a Kumano official, responded to Emperor Gotoba's request and joined the Battle of Uji River. After their defeat, Tansan settled in Kanau instead of returning to his hometown Kumano. The current owner is the 29th generation descendant of Tansan. During the time of Hori Nobumasa (the fourth generation from Tansan), Emperor Go-Daigo was welcomed into Nobumasa's residence at Kanau after being driven out of Kyoto by Ashikaga Takauji at the end of Engen Year One (1336). This residence later served as an imperial palace for Emperors Go-Murakami, Chokei, and Go-Kameyama during Southern Court history. Today it welcomes you as Hotel & Restaurant KANAU.The gate designated as an Important Cultural Property features a plaque inscribed with "Imperial Residence" by Yoshimura Torataro from Tenchu-gumi.
