The open-air bath is spacious and the views are wonderful. The proprietress at the dining area and the staff offered warm, unpretentious hospitality and thoughtful care. Of course, a good Accommodation has great meals and Facility, but it reminded me again that it is ultimately made complete by the people. I was personally very happy that our futons were not put away during breakfast.

I wanted to support a locally run, family-owned Accommodation, so I chose Irifune this time. The moment I stepped inside from the entrance, I was thrilled! After leaving the large public bath in the morning, I relaxed in the lobby with a cup of coffee. Spending unhurried time in the lobby while enjoying the traditional old house atmosphere was wonderful. The Room, the private bath in the Room, and the meals—everything was outstanding! I also purchased a pair of geta sandals. From now on, every time I wear them, I’ll remember Irifune and enjoy that lingering feeling in my everyday life. If I use them as indoor slippers, I’ll have more chances to wear them, so I plan to use them indoors. To all the staff: when I come back to Kumamoto, Irifune will be my only choice for a Reservation! I’d been keeping an eye on this place as a summer getaway I wanted to visit someday, and I finally made it this time. It happened to be a day when temperatures had dropped across the whole country, so I wondered if it might not feel much like a cool retreat—but it was cold enough to need a jacket. The air was incredibly fresh, and I took lots of deep breaths on the balcony. It truly felt amazing—I finally understood what people mean by “the air tastes delicious.” The Room was carefully prepared and very comfortable. And the meal served at the counter felt wonderfully luxurious; with the reassuring comfort of being able to go straight to bed afterward, even the drinks tasted better. The free drinks in the lobby were also great for relaxing while enjoying the view. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we could still gaze at the stars at night, and by morning we had a beautiful view of Mt. Ontake as well. It was a lovely place that I would definitely like to visit again.

I used to visit the Onsen for day trips every year, but this was my first time staying overnight (2 nights). The spaces outside the Room were well equipped, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Between the Onsen, complimentary alcohol and snacks, and manga, two days wasn’t enough time—I barely had time just to sleep in the Room. I think this is the No. 1 Accommodation as a base for horse-related activities.

This was our second stay with our rescued dog. This time, there was a pool set up in the dog park, and our dog tried swimming for the first time. Surprisingly, they swam well and looked like they were having a great time. Playing in the spacious dog park always makes them look so happy, and we’re really glad we came.\nWe chose the reasonably priced Standard Cottage this time, so we expected some age, but there was a very strong dusty (moldy?) smell, which was a bit of a downside. The place was cleaned properly, but there’s only so much you can do about an older building.\nStill, our dog looked so happy that we’ll probably stay again!

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday trip. They delivered an externally ordered cake from their partner Kazeka to our Room exactly as requested, and everything—the Room, the open-air bath, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—was truly wonderful. It was a very satisfying stay, and we would love to visit again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

I stayed in a KASE Room for two nights. The interior design, furnishings, and bath were excellent. The larger furniture and bathtub may be especially comfortable for taller or bigger guests. Communication regarding the Reservation was very kind and helpful. Dinner on the first night was a French course meal, and contrary to my expectations (my apologies), it was outstanding. It was served at the affiliated steakhouse next door, and the main meat dish truly shined—it was delicious (you can also charge it to your Room). On the second night, I didn’t want to eat at the same restaurant again, so they introduced nearby dining options. They recommended as many as 12 places with details and Shuttle Service from the Hotel included. I chose an Italian restaurant and was very satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy, and delicious. I couldn’t fully enjoy the private open-air bath due to unfortunate weather, but that can’t be helped. The staff service was thoughtful and pleasant throughout. A Keith Haring museum—one I have long been a fan of—is right next door, which I really enjoyed. The Hotel also displays Haring’s works. I visited the Hakushu Distillery (the main purpose of my trip). There is a shuttle bus from Kobuchizawa Station, and I could also request Shuttle Service from the Hotel to Kobuchizawa. Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

From the check-in staff to the Room attendant, futon-making staff, breakfast staff, and Shuttle Service staff, everyone was very pleasant and made our stay comfortable. I was surprised by the in-room dining first—so many dishes served on a large tray. It was a bit disappointing that we had to choose the same drink (wine or a soft drink) as my companion (I wanted wine), but everything was delicious. We also enjoyed relaxing in the private bath. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items, and I was especially impressed by how delicious the miso soup was. The Gunma-chan miso soup bath was also adorable. They even recommended Green Farm for us, which really helped. It turned into a very fulfilling trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed here after visiting the Kushiro Marsh. The medicinal cuisine dinner was delicious. The Onsen was spacious and clean, and it warmed us up and felt great. There is a guest-only laundry, which was very helpful. If we go to Kushiro again, we would like to stay here again.

I didn’t stay here when I lived in Chitose, but I did come for a meal. I stayed here for the first time in 25 years, and it was spacious and clean. It was very comfortable.

The building is not new, but it is very clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

I stayed for two nights, and while the main dishes changed, I was concerned that the buffet was exactly the same both days. I think it can get a bit repetitive.

We stay here every summer. The Tsumagoi pool isn’t overly large, and there are several types of water slides, so there’s almost no waiting time and you can really enjoy it. There’s a wide variety of food options that both kids and adults will be satisfied with, and the eel was delicious as well. It’s a very spacious Facility where you can relax and enjoy many different activities. If I could add one thing, I think we’d be even more satisfied if there were a lounge or other place to unwind, even if it required an additional fee. We’d like to come again next year.

Many guests were also staying here to go golfing. The Hotel staff were very kind. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The food was delicious as well. I was very satisfied. Thank you!

Compact yet fully equipped. Thoughtful attention to detail made possible by its intimate size. I felt a warmth you won’t find in a large Hotel. I was impressed by how well designed the bath area is—the atmosphere feels completely different at night and in the morning. I will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Room is incredibly clean—just like in the photos! You can enjoy a BBQ while looking at the night sky (BBQ grill available as a paid add-on option), and having a sauna on-site was truly great. Self löyly is also possible, and you can fill the outdoor jacuzzi with water to use it as a cold plunge, so you can fully relax and recharge. The sauna temperature could reach around 90°C. There are two bedrooms, each with two double beds, so even with seven people it still felt very spacious. (However, please note that the sauna and jacuzzi are only large enough for up to three people at the same time.) Fireworks were not allowed on the property, but there was a bucket needed for fireworks by the entrance, which we really appreciated.

I assumed it would be just an Accommodation at a golf course and didn’t expect much, but it was unbelievably wonderful. The Facility—especially the Room—was cleaned more thoroughly than city Hotels, and the French cuisine in this Plan was of such a high standard that it felt like being in central Tokyo. As expected from the restaurant of a prestigious country club, and since discerning guests stay at this Accommodation, there’s clearly no cutting corners. Next time, I definitely want to stay again and play golf as well. Thank you so much to all the staff. We were extremely satisfied. My daughter’s wedding also went smoothly. Thank you very much.

This accommodation is ideal for a trip exploring horse breeding regions. However, this was my third stay, and I noticed a significant decline in the quality of dinner. Two years ago, it was a set menu focused on Japanese cuisine. Last year and this time, it was a buffet; however, this time the menu seemed to mainly consist of pre-made commercial ingredients with no local touch. The temperature management of the food was also poor, which left me disappointed. While I understand that it may be challenging during the busy Golden Week period, I hope for improvements in the future.

We stayed with our 3-year-old child. Our child was thrilled with the towel bear and fruit that welcomed us in the Room. They quickly came to set up a bed guard, and when I mentioned I was pregnant, they kindly replaced the welcome gift wine with something else. When we were about to go out to Pure, a staff member asked about our child’s height and said, “There may not be much for them to enjoy…,” then suggested an alternative—the gondola that was operating. At both dinner and breakfast, everyone spoke warmly to our child and showed such kindness, and it seemed to spark our child’s interest in English. Our child said this Hotel was the most fun of all, so we plan to join Hilton Club and definitely return in the winter season! Although most of the staff were from overseas and we communicated mainly in English, this Hotel had the best hospitality of any we stayed at during our time in Hokkaido.
