It wasn’t too crowded, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The Matsusaka beef croquette, mamushi-meshi (eel rice), and tonteki were all just as delicious as we had hoped. The only minor issue was that the TV and phone controls were a bit difficult to figure out.

It was comfortable, just as the Hotel name suggests. The Room was very clean, and I appreciated that it was barrier-free. The only downside is that the accommodation fee is a bit high... but I’ll be back!

Pros All of the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was very good for a business hotel. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was good enough that I’d want to add it every time. Cons There was red mold around the bath drain, and heavy limescale buildup around the faucet area.

While not directly connected to Sendai Station, it is conveniently located within the grounds of the Metropolitan Hotel. On the 1st floor, there is a stylish dining area, and the coffee is excellent. It was shower-only, but comfortable.

It’s a new Hotel, and everything was very clean. The staff were courteous at both check-in and check-out, and I had a comfortable stay overall. However, I went early in the morning, and the breakfast dishes were not very warm overall—that was my only small disappointment.
