I stayed in a newly renovated Room and enjoyed a brief escape from everyday life, surrounded by the warmth of wood. Choraku is an Accommodation where you can enjoy both the gold and silver hot springs, so if you’re looking for a place to stay in Arima, I would recommend Choraku without hesitation. Flowers were beautifully arranged throughout the building, and their thoughtful hospitality was truly appreciated. The meal served in the Room was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the fun conversation while they explained each dish—I couldn’t stop laughing. The extra-large TV wasn’t working properly, but the front desk staff came right away and fixed it. Shortly after I returned home, I received a thank-you letter from Choraku. I travel often, but I have never stayed anywhere with such attentive service. I also booked through IKYU.com, and there was a surprise roast beef dish at dinner. I would like to take this opportunity to thank IKYU.com as well.

I stayed here with a friend. The infinity Onsen and the food were both excellent. However, the hair dryers in the large public bath took a long time to dry my hair, so I would appreciate it if you could upgrade them to higher-quality ones when you replace them next time. Since the Facility is wonderful, it felt like a bit of a missed opportunity. I would love to stay here again when I visit Beppu. Thank you very much.

The Shuttle Service from the station was very helpful. The staff greeted us properly, which left a great impression. We had to bring our bath towels to the bath, but that minor inconvenience was more than made up for by the excellent amenities and post-bath drinks. You can relax anywhere in the building wearing a yukata or loungewear. The free-flow drinks at dinner included a wide selection of wine, sake, and shochu, and it was my first time seeing a dedicated sake-warming station. Of course, I gratefully made use of it. The only disappointment was that, despite being in Beppu Onsen, there were not many types of baths. Still, the property was clean throughout and well maintained, so we were able to unwind at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.

Since my parents’ home is in Izumisano, I used to watch this place being built every time I came to Sano. This was my first stay here. It was fun to see the familiar station from the Room, and everything was very comfortable. After the large public bath, there are plenty of manga available—like at a manga café—so I’d love to stay again and relax when I’m back visiting family. My child was thrilled too. 　However, because of how card keys work, when you remove the key the power in the Room turns off completely and even the air conditioning stops. So when you come back from the large public bath, the Room is hot, which is inconvenient. At a Ryokan, for example, the air conditioning doesn’t usually shut off like that. Also, only the women’s bath requires an authentication number; while I understand it’s for security reasons, it’s quite inconvenient. Next time, I’d like to watch unlimited movies in the Room and add what looks like a luxurious breakfast. Free Child Sharing Existing Bedding for guests 18 and under is also greatly appreciated.

Last year, I stayed here with my parents, who use wheelchairs, and we were truly well taken care of. I wanted to bring them to the Onsen they love while they were recuperating, and we chose this place because the Room had a bath and it was barrier-free. The Room was very relaxing, and the food was exceptional—my parents kept saying how delicious it was as they ate with such joy. Late at night, my father and I also enjoyed the ramen snack service and ice cream together. After that, my father passed away, so this year we stayed again in his memory. At dinner, you kindly prepared a set meal for him with rice and miso soup among other items. I was deeply moved by this unexpected gesture and couldn’t hold back my tears. We displayed his photo, shared memories of him, and enjoyed the meal. The Facility is wonderful, but above all else, thank you for your heartfelt hospitality. I would love to stay again!

The meals, hospitality, Room, views, and bath—everything made for a wonderful stay. I have never had rice this delicious before. The tea was also excellent, and the grilled dried horse mackerel at breakfast was outstanding. In any case, I’m adding this Accommodation to my top five places I want to stay again. Thanks to the information you shared with us by email in advance, we were able to arrive smoothly at Yukaen by shuttle bus on the day. Check-in was also explained carefully, and we stayed comfortably throughout. We considered sightseeing on the second day, but since we had fully enjoyed Chuson-ji Temple on the first day, we decided to focus on relaxing and enjoying the Onsen. We booked a head and hand course at Nagomi-yu for day use, had lunch, and spent a very restful time. The fried shrimp and minced meat cutlet we ordered for daytime drinks were impressively generous portions, and everything was delicious. The lounge pancakes were also great—we finished them in no time. Dinner on the second night featured a different menu from the first, so we could enjoy a new atmosphere as well. The hospitality truly felt guest-focused and very comfortable; my friend and I said we'd love to come back as we left the Accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

After sightseeing in Kanazawa, we stayed here and were truly soothed by the calm atmosphere inside the Accommodation, the beautiful garden, and the relaxing Onsen. The meals in particular reflected the season, and we were able to enjoy Kaga culture through both the cuisine and the tableware. Thanks to the warm and attentive service from all of your staff, we felt comfortable throughout our stay. My mother and I were able to spend a peaceful time together, making this one of the most memorable stays of our Hokuriku trip. We would love to visit again in a different season. The Onsen had wonderfully pleasant water with a silky, skin-clinging feel.

We stayed in the annex. As a Premium Suite, it is spacious and comes with a private garden. The amenities and towels are well stocked. There are three TVs. The Room bath includes both an open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water straight from the source and an indoor bath. The toilet is quite small, which feels like a design flaw. Meals are served in a separate building. This is also a newer building and is excellent. They put great effort into the food, with many dishes, and we were very satisfied. There are also baths in the main building as well as in the new separate building, but the in-Room open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water was exceptionally good. It was worth more than the price.

The buffet selection was very extensive, every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. Our Room had an ocean view, the scenery was wonderful, and we were able to relax comfortably. There were also various types of baths, each with a different atmosphere, and we enjoyed them very much. As it is all-inclusive, it’s an especially appealing stay for those who enjoy alcohol. Since we don’t drink much, that part felt a bit wasted for us; however, we understood this in advance when booking, and the complimentary soft drinks and other beverages were plentiful, so it wasn’t inconvenient. One thing we noticed was the in-Room amenities: items such as toner were provided for only one person. We felt it would be more comfortable if they were prepared for the number of guests. Overall, we were highly satisfied with the food, views, and baths alike—it was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again.

Once again, our whole family had a wonderful two-day stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive as always, and we truly appreciate it. A variety of food and drinks are also available in the lobby, which our children look forward to every time. This time as well, they were especially excited for the brown sugar buns and warabi mochi, and they were delighted. We were also very satisfied with the pool, including the slide. Both dinner and breakfast were very luxurious and made for a great time together. Thank you as always. We will definitely stay again.

We had a very comfortable stay, including the Room, meals (featuring ingredients from Kochi), and the large public bath. The sweet yuzu tea in the post-bath lounge was especially delicious. (It would be even better if it were replenished a bit more.) Also, when we asked where we could use handheld fireworks, the front desk staff immediately told us that it would be possible around the area in front of the Lawson at Josei Park, about a 5–10 minute walk from the Accommodation (on the concrete ground). This was very helpful, and our child was able to enjoy fireworks. (We asked at other hotels as well, but in the end we couldn’t find out where it was allowed…) Just one point: our child’s dinner was prepared as a Western-style meal, although it seems Japanese-style could also be selected. If there is an option to choose, we would appreciate being asked in advance (ideally at the time of Reservation). Our child prefers Japanese food, so we shared from our meal instead. (At check-in it had already been prepared; we were told that remaking it would incur an additional charge.) Overall, however, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely like to use this Accommodation again on our next visit to Kochi. (A small detail: having a freezer function in the in-room refrigerator was very helpful for refreezing ice packs.)

This was a truly welcoming and pleasant Hotel. As I was traveling solo, I was shown to a quiet seat with a great view for dinner, and I was able to relax and enjoy the meal. They were considerate about ingredients I don’t like, and everything was delicious. The only regret was that the portions were a bit large for me, and I was almost full before the main course. Breakfast was exciting, and everything was delicious—absolutely wonderful! My Room was close to the guest lounge, so I enjoyed not only staying in my Room but also spending time in the stylish guest lounge. The sauna, jacuzzi, and bedroom were all very relaxing—I had a great stay!

Although the Facility is quite spacious, it was thoroughly clean throughout, and we had a very comfortable stay. We traveled with two children, and we truly appreciate the kind assistance we received at the dining venue as well. We would definitely like to stay again!

I stayed with my mother, and we were satisfied with everything! The Room was spacious, bright, and spotless—almost too much for just the two of us. The bath was the perfect size and temperature. Bathing while listening to the morning birdsong was truly special. The meals I had been looking forward to most exceeded my expectations. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious, and with the lovely atmosphere of the dining area, we had a wonderful time. We didn’t often see the Ryokan staff rushing around, but perhaps that’s part of their consideration so guests can relax in peace and quiet. If so, it’s impressively thorough. My mother especially loved it (as did I), so we would definitely like to stay again!

I love the meals here and have returned several times. This time, I enjoyed the chef’s special kaiseki featuring splendid alfonsino, and truly savored it. Everything was delicious. The dishes were beautiful to look at as well, and I was reminded how Japanese cuisine lets you enjoy the seasons. I spent a relaxing, elegant holiday and felt completely recharged. I stayed here to enjoy the Kojohama Onsen. The interior has been renovated and was beautifully maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. With a limited number of guest rooms, it felt quiet and unhurried—very different from a large Hotel. The Onsen was excellent and helped me unwind after traveling. Day-use bathing is also available, but staying overnight lets you enjoy the Onsen at a more leisurely pace. The staff were courteous, making for a very comfortable stay. This Accommodation is recommended for those who prefer a peaceful setting over the glamour of large Hotels, and want to truly enjoy the Onsen and the stay itself.

It might be the perfect base for getting around. It’s not the best value for money, but even taking that into account, I think it deserves a high rating. Breakfast only offered Matsuyama-style sea bream rice; it would have been nice to have more options.
