Although it was a stay without meals, I got a great deal by using a last-minute discount. I was able to relax in the bath, and I was satisfied with the Room as well! It’s an Accommodation I’d like to use again.

An easy walk from Akashi Station to the Accommodation. The Room was very spacious and felt wonderfully open. The bath also felt almost like a private bath, as it was nearly all to myself.\n\nI was looking forward to dinner, and it exceeded my expectations. It felt like there was a top-class chef here. From the way the dashi was prepared to how the vegetables were cut, every dish was carefully made, and I was truly satisfied. With its distinguished history—such as the Tokugawa family crest—this Accommodation delighted my history-loving husband as well.\n\nThank you for taking such good care of us.

Since we traveled by train, we really appreciated the Shuttle Service to Izu-Kogen Station. The Room was spacious, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The large public bath was also clean, and we were happy to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style. The taste was average, but there was a good variety, and we enjoyed local specialties such as sashimi, simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), and Shizuoka oden. The bread at breakfast was especially delicious. There were plenty of popular manga available at the front desk, which we could borrow and read in our Room. All staff were kind, and with thorough cleaning and well-stocked amenities, we felt their thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay. We would like to stay again if we have the chance.

Although I had heard about the baths through Reviews, they were far more wonderful than I ever imagined. I was also very satisfied with the amenities, and the meals were delicious. I was delighted to see thoughtful touches everywhere—such as spare towels in the bath area and plastic bags for wet items. The staff were excellent as well; at breakfast, when I was about to eat an egg, they quickly brought me salt and pepper, and even the housekeeping staff I met on my way out spoke to me kindly. I was truly satisfied until the very end. I will definitely visit again.

The Room was bright with a great view, spacious and clean—an extraordinary, non-everyday space that truly made us feel we were on a trip. It was an east-facing Room where we could even see the sunrise. The bath was also very relaxing! The meals were excellent as well, especially the sashimi. We stayed three nights at Hotels of a similar or higher level, but this Accommodation gave us the highest overall satisfaction. The coffee served at breakfast was also a much-appreciated service. When we visit Beppu again, we would definitely like to stay here. To maintain good service, it felt like efforts are being made to reduce costs in areas such as amenities. That is completely understandable given the current circumstances, however, not having towels or cups prepared for children was inconvenient, so we would like to see this improved.

This was my second stay. Last time I traveled solo and used a twin room as single occupancy, but this time I stayed with my partner (my wife) for 3 nights and 4 days. I booked a twin Western-style room for the first two nights, and a Japanese-Western style room for the third night because the twin was unavailable. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, we were upgraded to a very spacious Japanese-Western style room for all three nights. Thank you very much. The main purpose of this trip was the Sapporo Snow Festival for the first time in six years. With hotel prices in central Sapporo rising sharply recently, we chose this Hotel again because we had a great experience before. When comparing rates, this Hotel with breakfast and dinner can sometimes be cheaper than central-area hotels with breakfast only (depending on when you make your Reservation). This time we rented a car from the airport, but if you are not used to driving on snowy roads, taking the bus is honestly recommended. Also, at this Hotel, if the schedule works out, using the free Shuttle Service bus is an excellent value. We used the Shuttle Service one-way from the Hotel to Sapporo Station on our second day (they were running five large buses). After enjoying the Snow Festival, we returned to the Hotel by taking Jotetsu Bus “Kappa Liner,” using its last service (departing 17:00 from in front of the station). On day three, we relaxed by visiting nearby Hoheikyo Onsen for a day trip bath and their famous curry, and took an easy stroll around town in the snowy hot-spring area. As for the Hotel itself, you can enjoy various baths at both an underground Onsen area and an observation bath & open-air bath on the top floor. That said—perhaps because there isn’t enough source water volume for baths of that size—the “Onsen feel” is slightly mild. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Given that it was peak season at such a huge Resort Hotel, it gets extremely crowded in a massive dining venue, so it’s better to avoid peak times. The buffet selection may not match top-tier luxury resort standards, but it was satisfying—for example, breakfast included seafood bowls where you can add as much salmon roe as you like. If you’re visiting Sapporo for sightseeing, staying in central Sapporo is convenient; however, this Hotel offers great value with breakfast and dinner included plus Onsen access—and even free Shuttle Service buses from near Sapporo Station—so I may well return for a third stay. One extra note: the new wing has three glass elevators, and two regular elevators on the inner side of the building opposite them. The glass elevators have great views, but in midwinter (around -10°C), they are very cold inside, so we ended up using the inner ones most of the time.

In every way, this was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. I will make another Reservation through IKYU.

We stayed with our 13-month-old baby. Thanks to the warm smiles and kind support from all the staff, we had a very comfortable stay. We were able to borrow a stroller for use inside the Hotel, and we could also use a baby chair at the restaurant. They even prepared baby food for us, which was a huge help. We were also able to use a bib—thank you so much. We’d love to come again! It’s a Hotel where families can feel very at ease when traveling with children, and we were extremely satisfied!

We were very satisfied with both the meals and the Onsen. We would stay again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

It was a 3-day, 2-night stay. On the first night, I had a steak bento, and on the second night, I had a sukiyaki set meal—both were delicious, with very tender meat. The breakfast buffet had slightly different menus on the first and second mornings, which was nice. I also got to make my own soft-serve ice cream! The Onsen was not crowded; the water was on the hot side, but I could relax and enjoy it. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The food—especially the special kaiseki course—was excellent. The staff were very attentive, and the timing of each dish being served was perfect. The sunset was also beautiful. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.\n(However, there was only one elevator, which was a bit inconvenient.)

I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably, which was great. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.

Last year, my 101-year-old mother-in-law passed away, and I invited my elder sister and niece, who have been feeling a bit lonely since then, to stay here. We celebrated my sister's birthday during dinner with a toast, and the staff surprised us with a Happy Birthday song and cake. Seeing my sister's happy smile made me feel so glad I chose this Hotel. Although we couldn't see the sunset this time due to rain (unlike last time), we will definitely come back again!

We stayed with three children, and the Room was spacious and comfortable.

This was my first stay here. The staff were very courteous, and the meals offered a wide variety of dishes. Being served in the Room allowed us to relax and take our time. I did notice some dark staining on the shower hose and floor in the bathing area, but there were many types of facial cleansers and serums available, as well as horse oil shampoo, which left both my skin and hair feeling great. Early in the morning by the sea, I went fishing at a spot I was shown and caught plenty of good-sized whiting. Because of the heat, it was a short trip, but I was very satisfied with the catch. Next time, I’ll visit during a cooler season. Overall, I was extremely satisfied—especially with the meals! Thank you again, and I look forward to staying with you again.

Our family of six stayed for two nights (Multiple Night Stay). The building itself feels a bit old-fashioned, but it was kept very clean. Above all, the meals were incredibly delicious and truly impressed us. We’re sorry we couldn’t finish everything on the first day. On the second day, the menu was different, and we managed to finish it all. It was genuinely wonderful. Whenever we visit Nanyo or Kochi again, we would definitely like to stay here. We stayed with my sister’s family and our parents, bringing three children. Even though it was summer vacation and the children’s rates were very affordable, the kids’ dinner set was very generous, and the children were thrilled! We also appreciated being able to use the bath 24 hours a day, and above all, dinner was absolutely delicious! The portions were huge, and we were completely full. Thank you very much!

I arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but they warmly welcomed me without any displeasure, saying the Room was ready.\nThe Room was spacious for the price and felt just like a Ryokan.\nBecause it is old, I noticed a slight odor in the Room and hallway.\nAfter checking in, I went in and out several times, and each time they prepared my shoes. The front desk staff also helped with sightseeing advice—the service was truly excellent.

At the end of the year, I stayed with my elderly parents. Since my mother needed a walker, I was a bit worried due to the lack of barrier-free information in the facility, but prioritized having a private bath and an onsen in the room due to the influenza outbreak. As a result, although the property was not barrier-free, the staff provided such considerate care that it was a very pleasant stay. The parking lot is several tens of meters away, but they offered valet parking for my mother and assisted us in areas with steps. The quality of the onsen was excellent, and our family felt warm and cozy. Although the building is old, it has been renovated and was thoroughly cleaned.

I was able to relax and take it easy. Sitting by the fireplace, I enjoyed the nostalgic scent, sound, and flames of the burning firewood. The free-flow alcohol and drinks were wonderful—I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for a quick drink after a bath. The snacks were delicious as well; it felt like you really let the quality of the ingredients speak for itself. The evening buffet also had a handmade feel and was very tasty. Breakfast offered so many options that I couldn’t try everything. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.
