I almost don’t want to share this, but I can see how hard everyone at the Hotel is working… Relax on the lovely terrace (it’s cool, and the breeze feels wonderful. Free drinks are a nice bonus, too). Unwind in the Onsen (the open-air bath is inside the building, so it stays pleasantly cool in the shade. The large windows open fully for an airy feel, and you can relax while looking out at the forest). The walkway to the dining area feels like stepping into another world—very inspiring—and of course, the food is delicious. On our way home, we had soft-serve ice cream at Takasu Farmers in Hirugano Kogen. It was great value and incredibly tasty. We also bought some lily flowers to take home. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The bath was a natural Onsen, and it felt wonderful! However, the shower pressure was very weak, which was disappointing. The building is fully covered with tatami mats, which was great and dog-friendly. Overall, it feels a bit old, with steep stairs and a small toilet... But it was well cleaned and acceptable. The meals were served in the Room, so we could relax even with our dog. Everything was very luxurious and delicious!

This time I wanted to try fishing at Kesennuma Port, so I stayed at this Accommodation because it’s close to the fishing spots. It’s located on a hill right in front of the port, with a great view. From the main entrance you can overlook all of Kesennuma Port, and it was such a refreshing place. What’s more, thanks to the very unique elevator tower, it was super convenient—I could get to the fish market on ground level in just 2–3 minutes. The building itself feels a bit retro and has a Showa-era vibe, so it may not be for everyone, but I found it very comfortable. What really impressed me was the night view of Kesennuma Port—and the sea urchin and hoya! The scenery completely changes from daytime; with the illumination it felt almost like a theme park. I was truly moved. I also enjoyed night fishing while taking in the lights—please do see it in person if you can. And the dinner served this time—sea urchin on its shell and hoya sashimi—was incredible. The sea urchin I had before at a Hotel in Minamisanriku was delicious too, but Kesennuma’s sea urchin is no joke! It had rich sweetness and umami and tasted amazing. The hoya sashimi may have been the best I’ve ever had. The ocean aroma and perfectly firm texture were irresistible for anyone who loves hoya. All staff were polite and very pleasant. Some seemed new, but their sincerity came through, and it made me feel this is a well-run Hotel. I suppose there’s no helping that some Facility areas are a bit old, but even taking that into account, I’d definitely like to stay again.

I came to a live concert with my daughter, and on the last day we stayed at Manyo Club Minatomirai. It’s an Accommodation we always stay at whenever we visit Yokohama. This time it was also my daughter’s birthday, so we chose the Girls’ Trip Plan, which included dinner. We had a 2-hour seat Reservation and enjoyed our meal while taking in the night view of the Ferris wheel and more. The staff member who looked after us was very easy to talk to and provided attentive, thoughtful service. Every dish was delicious, and the sea bream carpaccio was especially tender and tasty. Since it was a Girls’ Trip Plan, the vegetable shabu-shabu was great too! We had a wonderful time chatting over delicious food with a beautiful view. I had pre-booked a surprise birthday cake in advance; the chef made it for us, and our staff member even sang “Happy Birthday.” My 26-year-old daughter got to blow out candles for the first time in ages! Thanks to everyone at the restaurant, the surprise was a success. We had such a lovely time—thank you to everyone at Manyo-an. It’s also great that you can go to the Onsen empty-handed. I also like that you can choose your yukata—I pick a different one every time. As someone who enjoys sauna sessions, both the sauna and Onsen were excellent. The sauna temperature is on the higher side—perfect!! I felt completely refreshed on the outdoor relaxation beds. I lost track of time and stayed in the Onsen for two hours. The rooftop footbath has different views at night and in the morning—both are wonderful. At night, especially, the Ferris wheel looks amazing. My daughter and I enjoyed it for about 30 minutes while chatting. Breakfast has so many options that it’s hard to choose. I’m happy you can select grilled items as well—and you can even have sushi or hot pot from early morning. Since it’s buffet-style, staff quickly refilled items that were running low. Everything tasted great. However, depending on timing there were people who couldn’t find seats; it gets especially crowded after 8:00. The coin laundry is close to our Room, and being able to wash and dry everything for 500 yen in two hours was very convenient. I started it before going to the Onsen and picked it up before returning to my Room afterward. At another Hotel there was a washer inside the changing area—I thought that setup would be nice too. It’s also conveniently located near CupNoodles Museum Yokohama (Cup Noodles Museum), Hammerhead (Yokohama Hammerhead), Cosmo World (Yokohama Cosmo World), Landmark Tower (Yokohama Landmark Tower), and more. We truly had an extremely comfortable stay this time. When we come back to Yokohama again, we will stay here. Thank you very much to all of your staff members.

Our first family trip in seven years. As the kids have grown up, it has become harder to coordinate schedules for all five of us, so we decided at the end of last year to make time during this summer vacation and planned this trip. We were very satisfied with the Room size, service, and meals—it felt like a shame that one night wasn’t enough to fully enjoy everything. We especially loved the seasoning of the dishes, Shimane-grown Koshihikari rice, and the local sake. We were extremely satisfied. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

I was looking for a quiet, hidden-gem Ryokan where I could truly relax. When I found VillaRyusei on IKYU, I knew this was the one and made a Reservation right away. It felt like staying in a cottage in the woods—exactly what I had imagined. On the day of arrival, I was running a little late for check-in, but when I called to let them know, they kindly accommodated me and adjusted the meal time accordingly. The service was attentive, and with in-room dining and an open-air bath, I was able to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

The meals were absolutely luxurious! All the staff were attentive and kind. The all-you-can-drink options at dinner were very extensive, and the glasses were kept chilled in a dedicated refrigerator, which felt very clean. The bath facilities were also great, and the locker keys felt very secure. Just one thing: the trash bin under the sink in the Room washbasin area hadn’t been emptied, so that was the only negative point.

The bus stop is nearby, making it a great location for getting anywhere in Kyoto City. The Hotel also has parking and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The lobby was tastefully arranged, and the Room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The staff were polite and attentive, and I would like to stay here again.

The breakfast was really delicious, It’s an easy walk into town for shopping, The Room was clean, though it might feel a bit small. Still, it’s a great Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. We’ll come again.

I stayed at Oga Hotel because I wanted to see the stone-grilled hot pot. They showed me something truly wonderful. Dinner was a full-course meal, and it was very delicious and satisfying. A bath basket was provided in the Room, which was very convenient for going to the large public bath. Although the Hotel itself is not new, the staff were very pleasant, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel.

We stayed here after visiting Kamo Aquarium. Since we came on a sunny day, we were able to watch the sun set while enjoying dinner. The hostess and all the staff provided outstanding hospitality! Every dish was carefully prepared, so delicious that we ate far too much. We were also able to enjoy the bath almost privately thanks to perfect timing, and with a sauna as well, it was a very satisfying Hotel for us sauna lovers. And for breakfast—my favorite mochi!! It was delicious. This is a Hotel we’d love to visit again.

It is close to JR Shimonoseki Station, within a 5-minute walk. The Hotel is visible as soon as you exit the station. It was very convenient.

There were a few minor operational issues during breakfast, but the friendly and attentive service more than made up for them, so it was not a problem at all. The Facility and staff in each section were also excellent, and this is an Accommodation I would recommend to others.

We chose Kawayu Onsen as a place to stay while traveling from Abashiri to Lake Akan, and it turned out to be absolutely the right choice. The location is especially great. Until we stayed here, I didn’t realize Mount Io was this close, but after checkout we arrived there in just a few minutes by car. Since Abashiri and Lake Akan are quite far apart, I highly recommend an itinerary that includes one night in Kawayu Onsen along the way. We were also very satisfied with the Onsen. When I used the open-air bath, there happened to be no one else there, so I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace. The atmosphere of the open-air bath with its large rocks was wonderful as well. What exceeded my expectations most this time was the dinner buffet. There was an amazing variety of dishes, and I especially enjoyed plenty of crab legs (lol). Starting with “Mount Io Steamed,” inspired by Mount Io, there were many distinctive Hokkaido-style dishes. The red-fleshed melon and milk soft-serve ice cream were also delicious and memorable. The food was replenished properly throughout, so overall we were extremely satisfied with the meal. That said, for us the dinner time slot felt a bit short. It looked like there were enough seats available, so we would have been even happier with a schedule that allowed more time to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace. Even so—considering the quality, variety, and replenishment—I’d still give dinner full marks. On the other hand, we found the lounge a little disappointing. There was a wide selection of alcohol and many guests seemed to enjoy it, but since I don’t drink alcohol I didn’t have many opportunities to use it. When I stopped by at night, most of the snacks and light bites were already gone and hadn’t been refilled; it would be great if there were more sweets and light snacks available for non-drinkers too. The guest room was spacious; while parts of the building do feel somewhat dated, everything around the bed area was arranged in a practical way—and being able to charge devices right by the pillow was convenient. The Hotel itself is large as well, and shared spaces like the lobby feel open and airy. Outside the Hotel there are also small spots where you can take in an Onsen-town atmosphere on foot. This time we only took photos, but if you have extra time it could be nice for a stroll—though since majestic Mount Io is so close by, I definitely recommend visiting that too.

Although it is a large Hotel, it was very quiet. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom was also very large, with an open-air bath and a sauna, so the facilities were excellent. The service was great, and the free Shuttle Service was truly helpful. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed in the Yunagi Room this time! The Room was beautiful and spotless, with a great sense of cleanliness. It also had a private bath, and the view was amazing! Meals were served in a private dining room, featuring sea bream, abalone, spiny lobster, and Matsusaka beef—far too luxurious for me—and we enjoyed a delicious and wonderful time. The hospitality from the experienced attendant during meals was truly outstanding. The front desk staff were also flexible and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Perched on a hill in Katsuura, and with our Room on a high floor, we were thrilled by the Katsuura views from the balcony. The terracotta-toned living area also had a kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave, so we could relax in the Room at night with takeout side dishes we brought in. The sink area and toilet were both spacious and very convenient to use, and the bed was at a comfortable height so we slept soundly. The Onsen was free-flowing, with just the right temperature. The water felt silky and left our skin smooth; after soaking morning and night, my hip joints even felt more flexible. With breakfast included and a pool on site, it was an excellent value even during the busy summer season—overall a very satisfying trip. Just one thing: the toilet near the pool had a strong odor, which was bothersome.

Let's enjoy crab and visit the Onsen! A charming accommodation with a unique atmosphere. The private bath is incredibly luxurious! The crab dishes are absolutely extravagant! Highly recommended for everyone. It was a luxurious experience. I want to make it an annual event.

Four of us stayed here on a girls’ trip. We booked a guaranteed Mt. Fuji view Room and were thrilled to see such a beautiful Mt. Fuji! The Room had a nostalgic Showa-era feel, but it came with basic amenities and tea, and since we only stayed one night and didn’t spend much time in the Room, it was more than sufficient. The meals (with breakfast and dinner included) were delicious, and there was so much food we couldn’t finish it all even though we wanted to try more. In the morning, we could hear Japanese bush warblers singing, which felt wonderfully refreshing, and seeing majestic Mt. Fuji made it an unforgettable memory! If we have the chance, we’d love to visit again.

The breakfast was excellent. Everything was unpretentious, with comforting, nostalgic flavors that were easy to enjoy. In particular, the slightly sweet tamagoyaki—just like a mother would make—the gently flavored miso soup rich with dashi, and the kinpira gobo made it a truly memorable breakfast. Thank you very much.
