We stayed with our dog. It was our first time here, and we were so satisfied that we made a Reservation for next year during our stay. There is no Onsen, but the Room was spacious and very clean. The sukiyaki dinner on the first night was outstanding, and it was a new way of eating it for us. We stayed two nights, and we were truly impressed that on the second night not only the main dish but everything from the appetizers onward was a completely different menu. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back next year.

The made-to-order breakfast options are simply outstanding. The buffet is also well stocked, with a wide variety of drinks. I’ve only stayed in the twin Room, but it’s very clean and comfortable. The size is decent. The lounge is a calm space where you can read while enjoying delicious coffee. The staff are all very pleasant, and I think it’s a great Hotel. If I had to nitpick… the parking lot is a bit narrow. When large cars are parked there, it can be quite difficult to get in. Also, when the lot right next door is full, you have no choice but to park at the second lot a few blocks away. It’s fairly far, so it’s tough if you have lots of luggage or on extremely hot days. This was my third stay. After arriving while it was still light out, I first enjoyed Goshobo’s semi-mixed Onsen and the large public bath with its golden Onsen. Since it was summer, even a short soak left me sweating nonstop. In the large bath, I shared the water with someone for the first time here; we had a pleasant chat and ended up soaking a bit longer. Dinner was a lighter, seafood-focused course. The chilled Awaji spiny lobster soup was a perfect match with Koshu wine. The highlight began with sashimi of meita-garei flounder and aged sea bream, followed by more Akashi-ura fish to enjoy. The charcoal-grilled Spanish mackerel and the Akashi sea bream acqua pazza were both seasonal specials you can only have here at this time of year. The broth in the acqua pazza was much lighter than last autumn’s filefish version. To finish, the cheese course left me fully satisfied in both quality and quantity—thank you for the wonderful meal. For breakfast, I switched back to the standard menu: milk, soup, vegetables—an all-around delicious plate—beautiful French toast, and yogurt meant to savor the jam and honey. Everything tasted exactly as good as expected. Even the mini breads were great; this time, the buttery croissant was my favorite. In my Room bath, I topped up little by little while letting it cool slightly, enjoying a pleasantly lukewarm golden Onsen. The breeze through the window felt wonderful: lush greenery everywhere, distant summer skies, murmuring sounds of life outside—and cicadas loud enough not to lose to them. Summer Onsen really is something special. After breakfast I alternated between the golden Onsen and the low-temperature sauna. It was an extremely satisfying holiday stay. Thank you very much. P.S. As it is newly built, everything was new and clean, including the Room. It was raining heavily when we arrived and my carry-on suitcase got quite wet, but a staff member wiped it down for us. Since it’s a bit of a walk from the station, it was a little tough in heavy rain. When entering the building, you take off your shoes and put them in the shoe locker, but since they go in while still wet, they hadn’t dried by morning. I later found out that disposable slippers are also available in the Room; I would have appreciated being asked or informed at check-in.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with crab, so we made a Reservation at the last minute. When we arrived, the proprietress welcomed us with a warm smile, and after check-in at the front desk, she kindly showed us to our Room. The building itself has a sense of history, and there are stairs and steps throughout, so it may be a bit challenging for guests with mobility issues. The Room isn’t large, but it was spotless, and thoughtful touches—like a heated carpet laid over the tatami—made it feel especially comfortable. After changing into yukata, we headed straight to the Onsen. We started with the large public bath only; even the baskets in the changing area were lovely and lifted our spirits. Once inside, we were impressed by the very high ceiling and stylish design—stained-glass doors and an elegant layout that created a wonderfully open atmosphere. Then came dinner—the highlight we’d been looking forward to. First was a refreshing sudachi aperitif that was delicious. The sashimi starter featured sweet shrimp that were wonderfully plump, and the firefly squid dressed with vinegared miso was surprisingly tender—the gentle flavor of the miso dressing was perfect. I’m not enough of a crab connoisseur to confidently tell all the differences (like tagged crab), but since it was a special occasion, we chose a Plan that included Taiza crab sashimi—and it had an incredible melt-in-your-mouth sweetness... We could enjoy it not only with crab vinegar but also with sudachi or salt—truly outstanding! That alone almost would have satisfied us—but this is where things really began: fragrant grilled crab; a rich yet clean-tasting Taiza crab miso soup; then crab hot pot followed by rice porridge; dessert of crab ice cream; and even chocolate mousse to celebrate our anniversary. It’s frustrating that all I can say is “delicious,” because everything really was. After dinner, we relaxed in the private bath we had reserved without worrying about anyone else around us, changed into pajamas (a very welcome touch!), and drifted off completely satisfied... The next morning we visited the bath with an open-air tub. This outdoor bath also had an ocean view and felt wonderful—we soaked slowly and enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was classic Japanese style—simple but delicious... It was my first time trying heshiko, and it was so good that I even used the discount voucher on our way out to buy some. They saw us off with warm smiles until the very end, making this an incredibly satisfying wedding anniversary trip. Thank you very much!

We stayed here for a three-generation trip with a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. We planned Amanohashidate on the first day and Kinosaki Marine World on the second. Originally, we had planned to visit Marine World on the first day and stay at an Accommodation near it without meals, but we changed our schedule so we could spend more time at Marine World and switched to a Plan with meals, so this is where we decided to stay. After check-in, we spent time in the pool until dinner. The pool was just the right size for our kids, and they had plenty of fun going back and forth between areas about 40 cm deep and about 100 cm deep. Dinner felt a little light in volume for an adult man. Breakfast was satisfying, with refills of rice available. The building isn’t new, but it was well cleaned and felt very tidy, which we were happy with. It was also nice that you can choose your yukata after check-in.

The quality of the Onsen, the Accommodation, and the staff was outstanding. I had wanted to visit Yunotsu Onsen for many years, and it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely try to come back again.

Every summer vacation, we stay at this seaside Hotel. The Rooms in the East Wing and the amenities are truly wonderful, and we always look forward to them. One small disappointment was that last year there was a bottle of water by the sink in the bathroom, but this time it wasn’t provided. Also, the staff’s service was excellent. In the morning, when my child and I were swimming in the sea, I’m not sure if it was a staff member or a volunteer, but someone was carefully picking up litter on the beach. It was wonderful. Thanks to that, there wasn’t any trash at all on the beach in front of the Hotel, and we could swim comfortably. We’ll be back again next year. We hope it will be even more upgraded—haha.

This was our first time in Inatori, and I stayed here with my elderly mother for the first time as well. There were six of us in total, including my wife and children. The food was incredibly delicious and everyone was very satisfied. Since my child’s birthday was coming up, we requested a cake, and they brought it out as an after-dinner surprise—my child was thrilled. My mother especially loved the open-air bath at the large public bath and happily went back and forth between our Room and the baths many times. I felt it was a wonderful way to show her appreciation. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so I’d like to bring her again on a clear day so she can enjoy the spectacular view from that open-air bath.

This was my first stay. The Hotel lobby is small, but it features Takeo pottery and Arita ware created in collaboration with overseas designers. It’s a stylish, relaxing space, and we were welcomed with chilled Ureshino tea and a small sweet. The Room felt natural and calming. This Hotel is known for its sauna, and even though I’m not great with saunas, I was able to relax fully and felt completely refreshed (laughs). We stayed as a couple this time, but it’s also a soothing Accommodation where solo female travelers can feel safe staying alone. It has become one of the Hotels I’d love to stay at again.

Stayed here to visit Jingu Stadium. It’s conveniently located near the station—Akasaka-mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is within a 10-minute walk, and it’s just two stops to Gaienmae! The top-floor panoramic bath isn’t very large, but it was nice to be able to stretch out and relax. There was a mistake in settling the Accommodation fee at the front desk, which was a bit concerning. The parking was also inexpensive at 1,000 yen per night, which I appreciated.

The approach to the Hotel was a bit hard to find, and when I reached the lobby and saw the small front desk, I wondered if I had made a mistake with my Reservation. We stayed as a group of five and booked two Rooms—a triple and a twin—but the triple Room was especially small. Those were my only concerns. However, the Rooms were very clean—everything was spotless and well maintained. The small Room size was made up for by the large public bath, and above all, we were extremely satisfied with how delicious breakfast was! Beautiful presentation, great seasoning, and breakfast in a quiet space without any noise or bustle!! Everyone was very happy. If I have friends planning to visit Kanazawa next time, I will definitely recommend it. I think it’s a high-quality Hotel that exceeds its price. Please give it a try!

So spacious for a Hotel right in front of the station! It was so affordable that I wondered if it was too good to be true, but the Review ratings were high so I made a Reservation—and it really was great. Bath salts and amenities were well stocked. I didn’t use the restaurant, but it was very lively, so I figured the food must be good. There’s also a convenience store nearby. The parking lot was full so I couldn’t use it, but there’s a paid parking lot right across the street, so it wasn’t a problem. I think it’s a very good Hotel!

Every year during the Obon homecoming season, my mother-in-law and I stay here. The Room, bath, and meals are excellent. However, the nighttime event (show) during Obon has been the same every year, so I would really like to see some different events offered. I look forward to staying again next year.

I stayed here for the first time last year and was satisfied overall, so I chose this Accommodation again. They kindly stored my luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which allowed me to sightsee hands-free. Thank you very much. The Room was comfortable. In particular, the bathtub was spacious so I could relax and recover from fatigue, and the shower water pressure was strong—one of the reasons I returned. I would love to stay here again when visiting Toyama.

I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.

Searched for Accommodation with an open-air bath in the Room The Room was exactly what we wanted, and we had a wonderful holiday—no need to carry bath items or a change of clothes to the large public bath, and we could enjoy the Onsen whenever we liked. We chose a Plan with breakfast only. The dried horse mackerel was very delicious. For us, who can’t eat that much, it was just the right amount. Enjoying coffee in the lounge while taking in the lovely view overlooking the harbor was also wonderful. Although it felt like being nestled in the woods, we didn’t see any insects. It was a lovely Accommodation that we would like to use again.

We visited as a couple to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the station to the Accommodation. You can request pick-up, but we chose to walk and soak in the atmosphere. The Room was spacious enough for two, and you can enjoy views including the sea through the large window. The in-room Onsen bath was more than sufficient, but we also reserved a private bath so we could have a large Onsen all to ourselves. It happened to be firefly-viewing season, so we enjoyed it with Shuttle Service included. The meals were incredibly delicious—an extensive menu centered on seafood, vegetables, and mountain produce. The sashimi was outstanding, and breakfast deserves special mention: miso soup made with broth from the spiny lobster shells from dinner and black rice were exceptional. This is a small Accommodation with attentive staff—perfect for enjoying the Onsen, nearby walks, and great food. We had a truly luxurious one-night stay. P.S. For those considering staying: due to structural reasons, loud noises in neighboring Rooms can be heard, and any loud noise you make will likely carry as well. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet environment away from tourist areas with few people around.

The room was clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast was excellent. I was surprised to see beef tongue served for breakfast. Although I usually don't eat much breakfast, I had seconds of both rice and beef tongue. The beef curry was also delicious. If I visit Shiroishi again, I would definitely like to stay here again. First, thank you for accommodating my food allergies despite the last-minute Reservation the day before. The Accommodation is tucked away in the mountains, quiet and surrounded by nature—yet surprisingly well located with views out over the sea. There is no Shuttle Service to the Accommodation, so I took a taxi from Izu-Kogen Station. There aren’t many taxis waiting, but you should be able to get one without too long a wait. As it’s truly a detached-style Accommodation, each Room is set apart, so you don’t have to worry about noise from other guests. I believe all Rooms are detached and the number of guests is limited. The villa has high ceilings and a charming design, with an indoor bath featuring large windows as well as a private open-air bath in the Room. There’s also a small garden and an open-air bath without a roof. Of course, being outdoors means it’s affected by the weather. The views are lovely, but once you sink into the tub you can’t really see the ocean—just so you know. On clear nights, you can enjoy a sky full of stars. In-room dining was attentive and comfortable throughout, and I truly appreciated how carefully they adjusted the dishes for my allergies. They can also add or modify menus using local ingredients to suit your preferences. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks, and amenities were more than sufficient. I was able to relax without needing to leave my Room at all. A recommended Japanese-style Accommodation where you can unwind in privacy without worrying about others’ eyes.
