This was my first trip to Hokkaido. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay to celebrate the birth of my eldest son’s baby and to see my grandchild. They kindly accommodated a late check-in, and I appreciated the wide selection of amenities next to the front desk. Breakfast menus changed by day, so I enjoyed a delicious meal on the second day as well. In particular, I loved the seafood rice bowl where you can add as much of your favorite toppings as you like. All staff were pleasant, and I had a very comfortable stay. It would have been even better if the changing area were a bit more spacious.

Although it was the day before a typhoon, we had a very comfortable stay. The cute duck in the bathroom was very soothing. We would love to stay again.

It was simply amazing!! I’ve stayed at many large Ryokan, and I was delighted to enjoy both the scenic-view baths and a variety of hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with more food than we could finish. Everything was truly delicious—thank you very much. The building had a classic, long-established feel, but the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We stayed with our child and had a great time without ever getting bored, thanks to the pool, fishing, arcade, and play area. It made us want to come back again if we get the chance. We debated among several Accommodations on Awaji Island (including sister properties), but we’re congratulating ourselves for making a great choice with Hotel New Awaji.

I stayed at the Hotel for the first time in over 30 years—a place my family visited almost every year from my teens through my thirties. While it has retained its classic charm, I could also feel how it has evolved with the times, making for a wonderful experience. As I headed home, I found myself reminiscing about old memories and hoping to create new ones from this year onward. Thank you very much.

We searched for an all-inclusive, ocean-view Hotel with breakfast and dinner buffets and a pool, and stayed here as a family during our summer vacation. The wide variety of all-inclusive options, the breakfast and dinner buffets with live cooking stations, the pool, and the many types of Onsen were all wonderful. We also enjoyed the free soap-making activity with our child. Everyone at the Hotel was truly kind. They always greeted us with smiles and attentive service, never showing any sign of being busy or affected by the heat. We were deeply impressed by their hospitality and were able to relax at a very leisurely pace. Even during the Shuttle Service on our departure day, they saw us off at the bus despite how busy mornings are—we were touched until the very end. We would definitely like to stay again. It was an amazing summer memory for both children and adults—everything was taken care of.

I was truly overwhelmed by the many wonderful paintings displayed throughout the property. The collection of rare vintage wines in the cellar—such as aged Romanée-Conti and Château Margaux—was also very impressive. After dinner, I took a walk through the garden and returned to my Room, only to realize my smartphone was missing, so I hurriedly consulted the front desk. Even though it was late at night, the staff worked hard to search for it, including in the restaurant that had already closed and deep into the garden. In the end, they also advised me to use my Apple Watch’s location feature, and we were able to safely find it where it had fallen into a gap between chairs in the entrance area. I sincerely appreciate all of your staff for their quick thinking and kind, warm support. It was a truly wonderful stay.

This stay was even better than before—the complimentary drink corner was more well-stocked, the available hours had increased, and an all-you-can-drink draft beer option had been added, which was great. Also, there is now a take-away coffee station after breakfast, which was a nice touch. However, the cup was quite hot to carry, so I would appreciate it if something could be provided to prevent the outside from getting too hot.\nI will stay again.\nThe woman who checked me in was also very pleasant and thanked me for staying with you several times.

This Hotel made our stay in Shiretoko even more special. This time, we were kindly upgraded to a better Room, and we were truly moved by the unexpected thoughtfulness. The guest Room was spacious and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere that let us fully enjoy our time away. What left the strongest impression was the large public bath. It was roomy and very clean, and soaking at a relaxed pace was the perfect way to ease away the day’s fatigue. All of the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional while maintaining just the right sense of distance, which allowed us to feel at ease throughout our stay. The entire Accommodation had a serene ambiance, and we felt it enriched our time in Shiretoko even more. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to return to when we visit Shiretoko again. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Although we stayed during the hot season, we were able to play in the river in front of the Hotel and had a great time. The water was clean and not too deep, and we were happy to see our dog enjoying it—it made us glad we came. We didn’t use it this time, but next time we’d like to have river-play photos taken. The meals also felt carefully prepared dish by dish. The salt-grilled ayu was delicious. At dinner, a female staff member was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was set up like a half-buffet system, and items that ran out were replenished promptly with attentive care. The bath water didn’t feel particularly like an Onsen, but the baths were spacious and relaxing. The open-air bath felt slightly hot. Given the times, it seems they are operating with a small team, but there were thoughtful touches such as a 24-hour self-checkout system at the shop and mops and small vacuums available in the changing area for guests to use. Since all guests had dogs with them, we could relax without worrying about others. We’d like to stay again during the autumn foliage season or when fireflies can be seen.

Although this is a historic Onsen Ryokan, the property is impeccably maintained throughout, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail and quality in every corner. Our family of four enjoyed a truly wonderful stay with dinner and breakfast included. Above all, the Room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for each of us to relax comfortably, while also being perfect for gathering together as a family to chat and enjoy tea and sweets. The in-room beverages were also well stocked—the coffee and tea were excellent—and of course the private open-air bath in the guest room was amazing. We had both dinner and breakfast in a private dining room. The staff member who took care of us was highly professional and kind; everything from the timing of each course to the explanations of every dish and overall service was flawless, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably from start to finish. And finally, the greatest highlight here is definitely the Onsen! There are many different types of baths on site—so many that we seriously discussed “the best order” to try them all (laughs)! We were so busy enjoying the Onsen that we didn’t have time to relax with drinks in the lounge. That just gives us an excuse to come back. In short, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this stay with dinner and breakfast included. The Room, cuisine, service, and Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. This Accommodation comes highly recommended for anyone who loves hot springs or wants a relaxing time at an Onsen Ryokan. We would love to stay again!

I had only known Hotel Okura Kobe, but since this was my first trip to Hakata, I chose Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The service and housekeeping were excellent, and access from the Shinkansen station was easy to understand and very convenient. As someone unfamiliar with the area, I truly appreciate the female staff member who kindly showed me on a map where to find delicious ramen and answered my questions with a smile. It immediately put me at ease, and I felt glad I made this Reservation. I couldn’t stop by the basement brewery due to time constraints, but a male staff member also kindly informed me that I could buy beer at the shop. Having stayed at inexpensive Business Hotels near stations before, I was reminded how valuable local tips and guidance gained through genuine conversation can be—and how they become part of your travel memories. To everyone at Hotel Okura Fukuoka, thank you for giving me such wonderful memories.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. As I was traveling with my elderly mother, I hesitated until the very last minute about whether it was wise to go far. But because she loves Onsen so much, I decided to make the trip in hopes of making her happy. Even though it was a last-minute Reservation, when I told you it was for my mother’s birthday, you responded quickly and courteously. Your warm message—“All of our staff will do our very best to make it a memorable day”—truly meant a lot to me. We were also looking forward to enjoying the baths at Dogo Onsen and the meals, and above all, seeing how happy my mother would be on the day. After we arrived at the Accommodation, everything exceeded our expectations: delicious food, soothing baths, and most of all the wonderful hospitality from your staff. The birthday surprise for my mother was a huge success!!! She was so happy she even cried. The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. The expansive garden filled with lush greenery was especially breathtaking! Thank you so much for giving our family such an unforgettable and special time. We will definitely return.

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality. We also truly appreciate the gift of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles for our grandchild. We were able to relax at leisure in the natural hot spring waters of Harazuru Onsen, and the meals—especially breakfast—were excellent. If the rate were a little more affordable, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit more often. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) We chose this Accommodation because it had high ratings for its meals and service in Reviews. We were a little worried whether our growing children would be satisfied, but in the end we were extremely happy. The elaborate appetizers won over our whole family, and we were impressed by the careful craftsmanship that didn’t simply rely on the quality of the ingredients. We could feel the attentive care of the proprietress and all the staff throughout our stay, which made it very comfortable. It doesn’t have the kind of Facilities you’d find at a large Hotel, but when we visit Tottori again, I’m sure we’ll stay here again.

This was my second stay.\nThe all-you-can-drink alcohol and juices available right after check-in, along with unlimited snacks and sweets, truly make it a paradise for relaxing. Since it’s adults-only, it’s quiet with a great atmosphere. The property was spotless and well maintained, and the meals were delicious.\nI’ll definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family, and it was comfortable from start to finish! The building feels a bit traditional, but the inside is bright, and we could sense thoughtful attention to detail everywhere, which made it very relaxing. All the staff were pleasant, and the cleaning throughout the property was thorough. We wanted to play at the beach and also watch the sunset, so we worried about meal times—but it turned out to be unnecessary. While we were out, they prepared our in-room dinner, and for sashimi—where freshness is everything—they served it after we returned. When an announcement about the sunset played over the PA system during dinner, a staff member came by to turn off the grill so we could take our time watching from the rooftop bench. (You can also see it from your Room, but the view is better from the rooftop. To get there, you need to go up one flight of stairs.) At dinner we also enjoyed dancing grilled live abalone. (One didn’t move even after lighting it; when we mentioned it, they replaced it immediately, so we could eat with peace of mind.) I thought just the standard course might not be enough, but it was plenty. The bath was great because we had it all to ourselves. We also appreciated the lounge coffee and post-bath ice cream. Breakfast was filling and delicious as well. Overall, this Accommodation exceeded our expectations. There were many stylish places nearby and we debated where to stay, but I’m glad we chose Kaishu.

The Facility is clean, and having an Onsen is a nice touch—it helps you relax and recover from fatigue. The Room is also clean, and I was able to get plenty of sleep. The front desk staff member was from Nepal, but their Japanese was excellent and communication was smooth. Their smile was wonderful as well. Thank you very much.

Our family of four stayed in a room with a private open-air bath, and it was amazing—even putting it mildly. The meals, baths, and views were all excellent. The food was generous and delicious, and at night we enjoyed a sky full of stars. The bath left our skin silky smooth—especially the morning bath, which I highly recommend. This was our first stay, but it’s an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.
