I stayed on a weekday. There was no wait at reception, and I was able to go to my Room smoothly. The Room is old, but it was properly cleaned and tidy. Amenities in each Room were limited to a toothbrush, towels, and a yukata, but there seemed to be more available in the Onsen changing room. Wi-Fi works, but when I ran a speed test the download speed was around 8 Mbps. Since it was about this fast on a quiet day, I wouldn’t expect much on busy days. For dinner, I chose the charcoal-grilled seafood set. It included crab, scallops, salmon, squid, vegetables, and also sashimi. Since there was udon included I didn’t ask for it, but it seems rice is provided as well. You can also order additional dishes or sake tasting sets for an extra charge. The Onsen felt like it was privately reserved just for me. It’s a great Onsen, and being able to use one of that size alone might actually be a rare opportunity. I think I saw other Reviews mentioning cold shower water; if it’s nearly private-use only, the pipes may have cooled down due to low usage. For about one minute only cold water came out, but after that it worked normally. The sauna did not seem to be available due to COVID-19 prevention measures. Overall, considering the Accommodation Fee level (value for money), this Hotel offers high satisfaction with dinner, breakfast (included), and the Onsen—great cost performance/value for money overall. The Facilities are somewhat dated throughout which is slightly noticeable; aside from that point my satisfaction level was high.

This time, my husband and I stayed at the property during our trip to Fukui. The stays were beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean with 12 tatami mats. It was very convenient as the dining area and bath were close to the room. Dinner was filling! It was delicious and very satisfying. The tempura was freshly fried, crispy, and delicious! The white rice was also tasty. Although the bath was not a natural onsen, my husband said it was good, and I was satisfied too. We were able to view the supermoon from the pot bath, which was moving! Breakfast was also filling. It was delicious. When we talked about going to "Eiheiji" at checkout, they kindly suggested trying "sauce katsudon and oroshi soba" and even saw us off outside. We had those two for lunch. Eiheiji was absolutely wonderful! Thanks to you, we had an enjoyable trip. We will use your services again. Thank you very much!

I couldn’t finish the large portion of wakame seaweed shabu-shabu, but everything else was great.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this Accommodation! The dinner portions were more than enough, there was an abundance of tableware, the number of amenities was comparable to a Business Hotel, and the open-air bath offered great privacy—everything was very satisfying. If I had to mention any drawbacks, they were limited to the Room we stayed in: the outlet closest to the bed didn’t work (so I couldn’t charge my phone by the pillow), and the PopIn Aladdin projection angle was slightly misaligned. However, it was comfortable enough to more than make up for those issues. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again. The bath was very clean! I was surprised it wasn’t crowded even during Golden Week. The food was very delicious. Overall, I thought it was a very good Hotel.

Following last year’s stay, I loved the large public bath, the meals, and the Room here, so I came back again. The Onsen temperature is gentle on sunburned skin and feels incredibly relaxing—I ended up soaking four times this trip! And the dinner portions—everything was delicious, with a very generous serving per person, so I was completely satisfied. The Room has been renovated and is beautifully clean. I also personally love the view from the Room. The seaside in front of the Hotel is a great place for a morning walk.

With a bus stop right in front, it was convenient for getting anywhere. It was also helpful that shopping at A-Coop and dining out were both within walking distance. The staff were very kind and pleasant. There is a large public bath, and there was also a cold plunge pool for the sauna, so I could cool my tired legs after Jomon Sugi and take good care of them. I was able to spend a relaxing time at this incredibly tranquil property. The hospitality of all the staff was excellent, and I was convinced of its long-standing reputation. Both the onsen and meals were wonderful!

I felt unwell during dinner and couldn't eat the fresh sea urchin, but the hostess kindly prepared a sea urchin rice bowl for me the next morning. It was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very kind, which made me happy. If I have another chance to visit, I will make a reservation again. Thank you so much!

The best part was having free all-you-can-drink alcohol and other beverages available right in front of the reception after a long drive. The dinner buffet didn’t have an extensive variety, but it was satisfying, and here too, there was unlimited alcohol. The bath left my skin feeling smooth—such a great experience! Although the staff were foreigners, they were well-trained and very polite. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the weak Wi-Fi connection. Other than that, I was satisfied and would love to stay again!

We got caught in traffic and barely made it in time for dinner, but they extended the time for us, and we were able to enjoy the buffet. Thank you so much to all the staff for your warm smiles! The room was also very clean and lovely! ...I now want a hammock at home too. Haha I definitely want to come back again to enjoy the property more leisurely next time.

The location was easy to find with navigation. The building is old but has a clean and welcoming atmosphere. It was a bit disappointing that there were no vending machines and Wi-Fi was unavailable, but I had a relaxing stay. We used the private family bath, which was spacious with excellent water quality, helping us feel refreshed. The meals were delicious. The staff's warm and friendly service made the experience even more pleasant.

The bath and meals were excellent, but dinner is scheduled quite early. The only start times were 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm, and we were strongly pushed toward 5:30 pm. If we had known from the beginning that dinner would start at those times, we would have planned lunch accordingly. Since we ate a late lunch, we asked for a later time, but it wasn’t possible. At breakfast, while some guests were still eating, staff asked if anyone wanted more rice and then quickly began clearing the tables. We like to relax when traveling, so the rushed pace stood out. Aside from that, the food was delicious, the staff were all kind, and the location in the center of the Onsen town was great.

The Onsen was excellent. We stayed in the annex; the indoor bath there was lukewarm, while the open-air bath was hot. The milky white water was amazing, and we could soak slowly and take our time. There is no elevator in the annex, so it was tough getting to the baths. For meals, having to go outside and walk up the slope to the main building felt inconvenient. All of the staff were polite and kind. Next time, I’d like to stay in the main building.

All the staff at the front desk and during meals were foreigners, but their Japanese was excellent and they were very polite. When passing on the stairs, they stepped down a few steps and moved aside for us—thoughtful hospitality that truly reflected Japanese-style attentiveness. They were wonderful staff members you rarely see at Hotels these days. The building layout is complicated, and you have to go up and down stairs from the lobby to finally reach your Room floor. Getting to meals and the Onsen also requires using stairs every time, so it seemed difficult for guests with mobility issues or elderly guests; we saw someone resting midway while holding onto the handrail. No elevator. We had two suitcases plus other luggage, and we couldn’t carry everything at once, so we ended up making two trips. It was tough with so much luggage. The kaiseki meal was on the smaller side but delicious. Breakfast had many small dishes—elegant and nicely presented. The Onsen was quite hot; since it was a weekday with few guests, I had the bath to myself both at night and in the morning. The Room was spacious, clean, and lovely. When making our Reservation, it didn’t say there was an open-air bath in the Room, so I was thrilled when I saw it as soon as we opened the door—but I felt disappointed when I noticed a “Do Not Use” sign on the lid. Still, it’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

The interior had been nicely renovated. Some trash from the previous guest was left behind, so the cleaning was a bit disappointing, but we were still able to spend a comfortable stay in the spacious Room. The Onsen also has great water. All of the staff were kind and provided courteous service. The meals were fairly standard but tasty, and we left feeling full. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive when my child accidentally broke a glass in the Room, which left a lasting impression on us. Another staff member also provided detailed explanations about the dishes during our meal and engaged with the children, making them feel comfortable despite it being a busy holiday period. The service from all staff members was exceptional. Breakfast included self-serve rice and miso soup with free refills, and the miso soup was especially delicious. There were rabbits in the lobby that we could pet and hold, which delighted the children. Thanks to this experience, we had an enjoyable Golden Week holiday. Thank you very much! We heard that new animals will be added soon, so we look forward to visiting again!

We stayed as a group of four men without meals. The male staff at the accommodation provided excellent service. The room was a 6-tatami mat room in an annex with some age, but it was well-cleaned and satisfactory. The view from the entrance was beautiful, with clear weather allowing us to see both Mt. Fuji and Oshima Island. Next time, we would like to stay with meals included!

It was my first stay here in a while. I was happy that you upgraded my Room again. I like watching Hirado Castle at night. This time it was cloudy and I couldn’t see the sunrise, but the view was still very beautiful and it’s one of the things I look forward to every time.
