We stayed here last March. This time, we visited during summer vacation so our dogs (Welsh Corgis, ages 5 and 3) could try the pool, and they had a great time playing. As with our previous stay, we were very satisfied with the meals. It takes about six hours to get here from Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, but we would love to stay again.

On Nokonoshima, we took a free bus to the beach and enjoyed swimming. Afterward, we told the reception that we were staying at Villa Sakimori, and they provided a free Shuttle Service for us. They also answered our questions by email in advance, so we felt comfortable using the service on the day. The Room was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was pleasant, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. However, since it is surrounded by nature, those who dislike insects should be aware.

This was our third stay. Once again, both our dog and we were very satisfied. The owner is friendly, and you can really feel their love for dogs. Our dog happily ran around, got completely worn out in the pool, and slept soundly at night zzz. We enjoyed plenty of delicious food, ended up completely full, and slept soundly too zzz. (Everything is tasty, but we especially loved the breakfast and the soup.) This Accommodation is highly recommended for first-time stays with a dog or for families. Next time, we’d like to come with my parents.

Wonderful for young golf lovers. About a 1.5-hour drive from Aomori Airport by rental car; there is only a short stretch of expressway, but you have to make many left and right turns. Some sections are narrow two-lane or one-lane roads, and the narrow coastal road can feel a bit scary. You can’t drive fast. The lodge and dining area are connected to the clubhouse’s large public bath (very nice; Natsudomari Onsen until 10:00 p.m.) and the main dining room, where set meals are served (Japanese-style breakfast and dinner), all delicious. The lodge rooms are spacious for four guests and come with a bathtub and shower; having two sinks is great. Very comfortable. Since it’s inside the golf course, the views are outstanding, and both the lobby atmosphere and service are excellent. The only issue is access.

As the first trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we stayed at Arayashiki in Oki. We were able to relax as if we were at home, including enjoying the garden with a sky full of stars and a campfire. The meals reflected a deep respect for nature and made us feel, “This is what doing things right looks like.” The nature on Dogo Island was wonderful, but as someone who loves spectacular views, I’m glad we made the effort to visit Matengai Cliff in Dozen. If the timing works out, I’d love for our children to experience this too.

They called us before our stay, and on the day we accidentally walked right past the place, but the staff kindly helped us, and we had a very pleasant time. They explained everything in detail inside the Accommodation, and it was a big help that they told us we didn’t need to clean up after breakfast. The kids had so much fun in the large pool that they wore themselves out, and the evening barbecue was lavish and very delicious. There was a wood-burning stove in the entryway area, so we’d like to come again in winter. Thank you very much.

The Room was very spacious and comfortable—almost too big for our family of four plus our dog. Soaking in the Onsen while looking out at the ocean, our dog and kids had a great time running around in the large grassy garden. At night we enjoyed fireworks and watched a movie together in the living room, spending a relaxing and peaceful time away from the Golden Week crowds. The dog amenities were also fully provided, which we truly appreciated. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

As my father is elderly, I wanted to spend some relaxing time nearby while he is still well, so we came from Osaka and stayed for one night. Everything besides the Kuroge Wagyu shabu-shabu dinner was also delicious, but there was so much food that I’m sorry we couldn’t finish it. The breakfast was a very Kyoto-style Japanese meal, and it made me feel quietly happy. The Room was spacious and full of charm, and the staff were polite and welcoming. My father was truly delighted, so I feel I was able to show him proper appreciation. There were also plenty of amenities to choose from freely, which was great as well. At check-out, you kindly saw us off until we were out of sight, which really moved us. Thank you very much! It was still a little early for cherry blossoms this time, so we would love to stay again around cherry blossom season next year.

Room We made a Reservation for a Japanese-style Room with a toilet. The Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. They provided two layered futon mattresses, so we slept well. Meals There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The flounder sashimi was especially impressive. Children There was a ball pit in the Room, and we could choose DVDs from many options such as Anpanman, Studio Ghibli, and Disney. We were also able to borrow various items such as toys, bath toys, bath soap for children, a bath chair for children, and an indoor low chair—everything was excellent.

The hostess was incredibly kind. We chose a meal-included Plan. Dinner was a delicious set course, and breakfast came with many small side dishes and was more than filling. We were very satisfied with the private bath, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis if it is not in use at the time. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

The exterior is beautiful, and the garden is lovely. Fresh flowers at the entrance and the charming interior design made everything feel stylish and exciting to look at. The cookies and tea provided during check-in were absolutely delicious. The room was spacious, with a tatami area that allowed us to relax comfortably. The complimentary water was also appreciated. Meals were abundant for both dinner and breakfast, featuring fresh sashimi and delicious herb-infused dishes that soothed both our hearts and stomachs—everything was incredibly tasty. Everywhere was spotless, showing great attention to cleanliness, which made our stay comfortable and worry-free. The bath experience was wonderful; we enjoyed a relaxing soak in the open-air bath. Additionally, having views of the ocean from both the restaurant and room added an extra special touch. Thank you for gifting us rosemary upon departure—it filled our car with a soothing aroma on the way home! We shared some with my parents who immediately used it in cooking; they loved how flavorful it was! Thanks to the owner’s hospitality, this trip became truly memorable. We are deeply grateful for your kindness during our stay at such a wonderful accommodation. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

I was satisfied with both the meals and the Onsen. I visited by motorcycle, and being able to park in the garage made me feel very secure. I would like to stay again.

This was my first visit, and the food was delicious. I also appreciated being able to take home the crab I couldn’t finish. The Onsen water felt wonderfully smooth, and we were very satisfied to have it reserved for our family’s private use. The location was also great—right by the sea, with a beautiful sunset—and it made me want to visit even in a season other than crab season. I’d love to come back again next year.

The Hotel owner is very kind, and we visit every year as a Father’s Day tradition, combining it with a fishing trip. The fresh raw whitebait is truly in season. Needless to say, the food is delicious. We look forward to this time of year every year.

This was my third stay at this Accommodation. Last time I had breakfast only and it was delicious, so this time I chose a Plan with both dinner and breakfast. Everything was seasoned just the way I like, and I really enjoyed it. There were so many dishes and such generous portions that it was more than I could finish.\n\nThe bath was quite hot, but very relaxing. Perhaps because it was a weekday and there were few guests, it felt almost private and I could soak at ease.\n\nI would love to stay again.

We also arranged birthday surprise decorations and a cake for an additional fee! The ocean was nearby, the view was beautiful, and the Facility was spotless—everything was perfect! Thank you for making it an amazing trip and surprise.

We stayed for one night with No Meals Included just after the Obon holiday season. The location is almost in the center of the Onsen town, right next to Ichino-yu, making it perfect for visiting the public baths and strolling around town. Our Room was on the 3rd floor facing the Onsen street, with two beds. Some details felt a bit dated, but overall it was clean and pleasant. You can clearly hear the sound of people’s geta outside, but I found it atmospheric and didn’t mind much. During summer vacation in Kinosaki Onsen, fireworks are launched from 21:00, and it was wonderful to be able to see them from our window. There are two indoor baths: the left one is quite lukewarm and may be good for soaking for a long time. The right one is a bit hotter and also has a cold bath, which I really appreciated! Since Kinosaki’s public baths don’t have cold baths, this was especially welcome for me. The water also pours like a waterfall from a lion-shaped spout (maybe), so you can let it hit your stiff shoulders like a water massage. For parking, the Ryokan’s information points to nearby paid parking lots, but there is also a municipal lot very close by that is cheaper at JPY 1,000 for 12 hours. However, when we arrived there was a waitlist line up, so we used “Kinosaki Motor Pool” listed in their guidance (JPY 1,700). The municipal lot is cheaper and allows longer stays, but if you take your car out during your stay you’ll be charged again each time—so if you plan to drive out for shopping or similar errands, Kinosaki Motor Pool may be more convenient. The young proprietress was very friendly and charming (according to my wife), and we enjoyed chatting with her. One small disappointment was that the air conditioner in our Room didn’t seem well cleaned—the airflow smelled slightly musty and there was visible dirt around the vent. A different Accommodation we stayed at last year had a dirty air conditioner too; maybe places where each Room has its own unit tend to struggle with keeping up with cleaning? Also, I didn’t notice while we were using toilets at the public baths during our outings—but when I used our toilet the next morning, the washlet function wasn’t working properly. Overall we were very satisfied, and we’d like to stay here again when we visit Kinosaki next time.

We stayed as three families and booked three villas. Each villa had a lovely Room, and we had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks and snacks at the management building were also a nice touch. Since it was still a bit early for ocean activities, we brought our own fishing gear and relaxed. The staff kindly arranged the setup so all three families could dine together, and we had a great time sharing BBQ, bouillabaisse, and sushi. We were worried dinner might not be enough, so we bought extra meat beforehand, but it turned out to be more than enough—everything was delicious. The clam miso soup served with the sushi was especially outstanding. Breakfast was also stylish, with bagels as the main item on the plate, and it tasted great. However, for children who don’t like bagels or for my father who has dental issues, they were too hard to eat—so it would be nice to have a choice of several options such as croissants or French toast. The yogurt was plain with no sweetness, so fruit yogurt or jam served on the side would be appreciated. The Room was comfortable overall, and both the beds and futons felt wonderful. One small inconvenience was that there wasn’t a place to hang bath towels; having one behind the sink would be helpful. There were hangers and a rack, but once we hung jackets and clothes it was full. Since swimwear is required in Rooms with an outdoor bath, I think additional hangers and space to dry wet swimsuits are necessary. I’ve noted some points here, but overall this was an excellent Accommodation and we would love to visit again. All staff members were kind and responded thoughtfully to our requests. A cozy, home-like Accommodation that feels like returning to a countryside house. The renovated Room was clean and relaxing. The homemade breakfast was delicious as well. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

This was our first stay, and the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen were all new, easy to use, and very comfortable. Dinner while watching the sunset was the best.
