We stayed here for the first time with our dog to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The welcome drink and dessert were very delicious! The welcome treat for dogs also seemed tasty—our pup finished it in no time! There’s also a drink bar available at certain times, which was great. They even have alcohol, which was the best!! The dog run was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in midsummer. Our dog ran around until completely tired out. Dinner is buffet-style, so it’s hard to decide what to eat (lol). The roast beef and sashimi served as a one-plate set at the table were amazing! Alcohol is available for an additional fee, but the food is so good you can’t help wanting a drink (lol). You can dine together with your dog, and there’s also a buffet just for dogs, so we really enjoyed the meal. Since it was our daughter’s birthday, we ordered a cake for an additional fee, and it was delicious as well! The staff celebrated with us too, and our daughter was thrilled! You can also use a private bath. We used it this time; we had 90 minutes, so we could relax without rushing. Dogs are allowed in the private bath too, which is wonderful! There were post-bath drinks and ice cream in the fridge—also fantastic! It’s well worth paying the extra fee! By the way, I also used the large public bath in the morning. The view was great, and it felt wonderful bathing while looking out over Lake Hamana! The breakfast sandwiches were filling and very tasty! They come with pudding too—again, amazing! One of the reasons this Hotel felt so good is definitely how pleasant all of the staff are!! Everyone we met was smiling; they talked to our dog and played with him too. Our pup got lots of love! If I had to mention something negative: although parts have been renovated, there were some areas where you could feel that the building itself is old and showing its age. But personally, there were far more positives than anything else. How easy it is to stay with your dog here, how great the staff service is, how delicious the food is, how relaxing the baths are—we went home satisfied as a whole family! I’m glad we chose this Hotel for our first overnight trip with our dog. We’d love to stay again!!

Each villa has its own indoor bath and open-air Onsen, so even elderly guests were able to relax and enjoy it at their own pace. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The garden and reflecting pool were also beautifully maintained and a pleasure to look at. The meals were excellent in both ingredients and preparation, and everything was delicious. The dashi was rich in flavor, and we were truly impressed by the chef’s careful work. The staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles and kindly assisted our elderly guest with luggage, meal service, and more. We felt refreshed both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

Three of us (all women) stayed here. The staff’s hospitality was wonderful, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The bath was also clean and lovely. The sound of the waves was soothing and relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and we enjoyed chatting with the person who served our meals—everything impressed us from start to finish. If we come back to Yuhigaura again, we will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for one night during a 3-night, 4-day trip. The buffet was tastier than at the other Accommodations I stayed at, and the portion size was just right. For guests arriving by motorcycle, posting on social media came with a complimentary drink service. The Facility feels a bit dated, but I recommend it for touring.

Everything was comfortable. The staff, lobby, meals, Room, and bath were all clean and relaxing. The meals were thoughtfully prepared, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. However, it would have been even better if there had been a dinner menu. At other places I’ve stayed, they compile the menus into a file for easy reference. The illustrated breakfast menu was great. I quickly framed it with my watermelon eraser stamp and displayed it in my living room. It looks wonderful in the frame.

This was our first time staying here as three generations, and we truly enjoyed it. We were impressed by the building, the location, and the furnishings inside. Everything was provided—kitchen equipment, amenities, and more—and we were amazed at how well-equipped the Facility was. Each Room was spacious and had its own toilet and shower, and even with a group of 10 people, we were able to relax comfortably in the kitchen and living area. The children also loved having a kids’ Room on the second floor, running around in the garden, catching insects, and playing by the shore. The BBQ ingredients you prepared for us were fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Breakfast was also well-balanced and very tasty. We stayed for only one night this time, but our whole family is already talking about coming back for a Multiple Night Stay next time. Thank you very much for your kindness!

We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

This Accommodation was the final stop on our 3-night, 4-day summer trip through Okayama, Tottori, and Shimane, and it was truly a wonderful place to end our journey. Check-in was very courteous and smooth, and I was surprised—in a good way—that an attendant escorted us to our Room while explaining the building along the way, which is rare these days. They also carefully explained everything in the Room, and I was impressed by the traditional level of hospitality. The Room had great taste, and the open-air bath in the Room was free-flowing Onsen water. It was a bit hot, but adding some water quickly made it comfortable enough to enter, so we enjoyed it many times during our stay. With Rooms that have an open-air Onsen bath, insects often get into either the bath or the Room, but for some reason we had no such issues here and were comfortable throughout. Dinner was served in a private room; the attendant’s explanations were thorough, and everything tasted excellent. The final dish seemed especially delicious—my husband and son even asked for seconds. Breakfast was buffet-style. We went at a later time close to last order, but we were not rushed at all and could enjoy our meal comfortably until the end. We chose late check-out as well. Although there were hardly any other guests around at that time (at other Hotels with late check-out there are usually few staff members left and no send-off), they continued to assist us until departure—taking photos for us and seeing us off properly—which felt like outstanding service. In addition, there were foot reflexology massages as well as foot baths, hand baths, and even face baths. Our Plan also included lounge access—all of which we enjoyed. It is rare to find such a large Ryokan (Hotel) with excellent Facility offerings, ample staffing levels, great service, plus wonderful meals and Onsen. It really shows their dedication. We had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

Over the past few years, this Accommodation has become a place our family wants to visit at least once a year, and both kids and adults are always completely satisfied. This summer vacation we weren’t planning a trip to the Izu area, so we thought a summer stay might not be possible—but when we learned about the summer vacation discount offer, we knew we had to go and made a last-minute Reservation. With prices rising everywhere, we truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture from the Facility. As always, every staff member—from arrival to departure—shows wonderful hospitality that makes for a genuinely relaxing stay. The Facility is also very clean. The summer vacation pop-up stalls were unexpectedly enjoyed more by the adults than the kids; it was fun seeing everyone feel like children again. It was disappointing that we couldn’t play tennis due to construction on the tennis courts, but there were so many enjoyable activities that we barely had enough time. We also love the surrounding satoyama countryside nature, so next time we’d like to stay in spring.

From the front desk with a panoramic view of Hakone’s great natural scenery to the Room with a private open-air bath, everything was excellent! The food was also very satisfying. The incense service and drink service were plentiful and much appreciated. The staff were very kind as well. We’ll be back!

I stayed here last year and had such a wonderful experience that I decided to return again this time. Once again, my expectations were fully met. I was satisfied with everything—the Room, the meals, and the service—and was able to enjoy a truly relaxing stay. I had dinner at the counter seats, and it was an especially luxurious moment to enjoy the meal while watching a beautiful sunset. The chef’s personality was also wonderful, and I had a great time chatting about various topics throughout the evening. Last time, there were sushi refills during dinner, so I assumed it would be the same concept this time as well. However, this time the menu was thoughtfully arranged in a different way. While there were no sushi refills, sushi was served several times between courses, which made for an enjoyable experience with a different style from last time. Every dish was delicious and highly satisfying. Overall, I felt comfortable throughout my stay and am very pleased. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay here again. Thank you for taking care of our family. We visit Izu, which we love, several times a year, but in recent years it has been difficult for all of us to travel together. This time, our two children brought us to Gyokusui, a place I had been saying for a long time that I wanted to visit. Since we live in a landlocked prefecture, we tend to choose an Accommodation near the sea, but choosing Gyokusui this time was absolutely the right decision. It rained lightly on and off over the two days, but it was truly a fulfilling stay at the Accommodation. The greenery outside the window was so vivid, and everything—the private baths, large public bath, and open-air bath—was at just the right temperature and spotlessly clean and beautiful throughout. As there were five adults this time, instead of a Room with an open-air bath, we chose a Room with a footbath and a spacious terrace with great views. We relaxed while looking out at the garden and chatting. The meals were beautiful to look at and delicious as well—we all ate too much at both breakfast and dinner. No matter where you are in the Accommodation, it’s soothing. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

This time, we were completely satisfied with the Room, meals, and staff. Last time, the front desk staff were unfriendly and we wondered what was going on, but this time both check-in and check-out were very pleasant. The meals were also very delicious, and although it was the same attendant as last time, they were extremely considerate. Thank you very much!

This was a return visit. I stayed here to visit my family’s grave and Koryu Shrine. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was truly pleasant. The meals were delicious both to the eye and the palate. Breakfast included a partial buffet, and everything was always kept beautifully arranged. The bath and changing area were consistently clean and well maintained, which impressed me with how attentive the staff are. This is an Accommodation that makes you want to stay again!

Four women stayed in a Japanese-Western style room—ocean view!! We relaxed on the spacious sofa, and our conversation really flowed. Above all, the meals were outstanding. Every dish in the creative dinner was simply “Delicious!” Breakfast was a perfect 100, too! The front desk’s attentiveness and the restaurant’s serving timing were also flawless.

We stayed in a villa with our family of four and our Chihuahua. Since it’s a bit away from the main building, we were very satisfied that Shuttle Service was provided each time we needed it. The Room and bath were amazing, and our daughters were excited the whole time! The food quality was excellent—especially the risotto, which was incredibly delicious. We also used the pool and were very satisfied. If I could share just two suggestions: since we traveled with our dog, it would have been nice if the area around the villa had better-maintained paths for walking. Also, while Wi‑Fi was available, we wished the TV had internet access so we could watch Netflix or YouTube. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to relax alone, soak in the Onsen, do nothing, and enjoy delicious food. All of those wishes were fulfilled, and I was completely satisfied. Both breakfast and dinner were heartfelt and delicious. Next time, I would like to stay again with my family. Thank you very much to all the staff.

The Ryokan is small but satisfying as a Facility. The Room was kept very clean, and for a twin it was spacious enough—no complaints. The bath was a little hot, though that depends on the person; the simple spring water had a light, refreshing feel. There is a gender swap, but I was surprised that the bath sizes differed. At check-in we were served matcha and sweets, but since there isn’t really a shop, I would have been happy if they had offered that day’s tea sweets as a small souvenir to take home. We had both dinner and breakfast and were very satisfied with the food, and the service was good. The locally grown rice in particular was delicious. If I go to Matsue again, I’d like to stay here again and would recommend this Accommodation to others.

All staff members who supported us were incredibly hospitable, and it made our trip truly wonderful. Our whole family was very satisfied—thank you! The facilities were up to date, and the security was excellent. The Ryokan was also very clean and hygienic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicately and elegantly seasoned, everything was fresh, and we enjoyed every dish—it was all delicious. This is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at again! Stayed with my Yorkshire Terrier and mother. The interior has a European feel down to the details, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious enough, and there was no unpleasant smell. The onsen in the room allows for easy access to a relaxing bath, which was very enjoyable. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the meal on the second day was very delicious. For dinner, please note that you need to choose such a plan or make a reservation in advance; ordering after arriving at the hotel seems difficult. Dinner costs 10,000 yen per person, which felt a bit expensive. However, there are no nearby places within walking distance for dining out easily, so please keep this in mind.
