My mother, who stayed with me and uses a wheelchair, received thoughtful and warm support, which was a great help. I only get to see my mother, who lives far away, a few times a year. I’m truly glad we were able to spend our precious time together here in comfort and at ease. My mother was very happy as well, so we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation, Sagamiya, was a wonderful place where we could truly feel traditional Japanese hospitality. As soon as we arrived by car, the staff noticed us right away and came out to assist, kindly helping us park with ease. They guided us to our Room, and the attendant came to greet us and made tea for us. These days we often stay at more Western-style Hotels, so it was a pleasure to enjoy this Japanese-style hospitality again after a long time. We enjoyed a delicious in-room meal in the tatami Room with a lovely view. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent, and even one night was enough to leave us feeling fully refreshed. All of the staff were very pleasant. We also appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—it felt reassuring that experienced staff could make good judgments on the spot. We would love to visit again.

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

The Room and Facility were exactly as shown in the photos, and the full-course Italian meal was delicate, outstanding in both taste and presentation. The woman who served us on the floor was exceptionally attentive and responsive, providing truly excellent hospitality. My mother, who traveled with me, also praised it highly and said she would love to come again.

This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. The meals were delicious, and the in-Room bath was wonderful—I’d love to stay again. The sirloin at dinner had a bit more fat than I prefer for my age, so I would appreciate it if there were a little more lean meat; however, everything else was extremely satisfying!!! And so luxurious! It felt like, “Is it really okay to serve this much matsutake?” I’m very happy with the in-Room bath as well, but because I’m on the larger side, some water overflows when I get in. Since the bath area and Room are truly barrier-free, I worry that the water might flow into the Room, so I have to get in very slowly, which is the only downside. It would be great if there were something to prevent water from flowing out. The salted bread we received upon arrival was delicious, and we bought the same bread at the bakery next door before heading home the next day! We plan to buy it again next time!!

This was my first trip to Tohoku, and I stayed here. In recent years I hadn’t found an Accommodation that truly satisfied me, but this one exceeded my expectations in every way—hospitality, meals, and the Room. I took a taxi from the nearest station, and every driver said, “Everyone says there’s nothing to complain about!” They were absolutely right. It’s well worth the price—you won’t regret staying here. For those making a Reservation, I strongly recommend choosing a Plan that includes dinner! The portions are generous, and everything is delicious, including fresh seafood and mountain vegetables. Unfortunately it rained during our stay, but we were able to relax while listening to the rain and looking out over Matsushima. We’ll definitely return to see Matsushima in another season!

Surrounded by delicious meals, a free-flowing natural hot spring bath, and adorable cats, I was able to spend a gentle, peaceful time. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay at this auberge. I was deeply moved on my previous visit, so this time I brought my family. The simple Room felt very relaxing, and the thoughtfully prepared cuisine was not only delicious but also beautiful to look at. Everyone who served the meals—led by Madame and the chef—was courteous and kind, making both dinner and breakfast truly wonderful. Everything we purchased to take home, including paella, hamburg steak, jam, and cheesecake, was delicious; even now, about a month after our stay, they bring back fond memories of Auberge de Oishi.

We were completely satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The meal for our dog was also a feast, making this a truly happy trip. We would definitely love to stay again.

I truly enjoyed Kanazawa’s cuisine from the bottom of my heart. I learned so much—about Kanazawa’s culture and local ingredients. This is purely my personal impression, but I felt that the guest rooms, dining, and hospitality were on par with the luxury Hotels I have stayed at in Japan and abroad, such as Aman, Bulgari, Okura, and Palace.

We stayed for two nights with three generations, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied—not only with the magnificent views from the lobby and our Room, but also with the wonderful hospitality and delicious meals. The staff’s attentive, warm service and smiles were especially memorable, and we felt a gentle, clear, pleasant atmosphere throughout the Hotel. Shizuoka has many sightseeing spots, including a history museum that children can enjoy and Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo (this zoo has many thoughtful touches and is truly recommended), so every generation can have a great time. After check-out, we also went to Shimizu Port to enjoy dining and shopping. We visited several attractions including Toshogu Shrine, but there was so much to see that next time we would like to stay at this Hotel again and take more time to fully enjoy both the places we visited this time as well. This is our third year in a row staying here, and thanks to you we were able to relax again this time. The delicious sweets and tea served upon arrival, the beautiful greenery of the trees visible throughout the property, the clean and comfortable Room, the spacious open-air bath in the Room, the large public baths and private baths—each with its own unique atmosphere—and the meals that were a delight to look at and, of course, tasted wonderful—everything was outstanding. We are also grateful to all of your staff for their consistently pleasant hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The Room, room service, meals, and Onsen were all truly wonderful—we were completely satisfied with our stay! Thank you very much to all the staff. The pajama fabric was soft and very comfortable to wear, so I bought a set as a souvenir. I’d love to come back again as a treat for myself.

Because my son uses a wheelchair, the restaurant staff kindly assisted us, which was very helpful. We truly appreciate their thoughtful care. The meal was delicious, made with very fresh ingredients. The wine explanations were excellent, and the timing of serving the three wines was perfect. We would love to stay again.

I stayed here with my child. The building blends beautifully into a quiet, peaceful town, and its wonderful atmosphere instantly soothed both body and mind after a long day of walking. I stayed here as a birthday gift for my sister. We were amazed the moment we entered the Room—not only did you prepare a Room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but you also gifted us sparkling wine to celebrate. My sister was absolutely thrilled. In the lounge, we enjoyed a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, along with visually stunning sweets and carefully crafted dishes. At night, we dined at the rooftop bar while taking in Kyoto’s night views. For breakfast, I chose a conger eel hot pot—something rare for a Hotel breakfast—and truly savored Kyoto’s summer flavors. We were also able to visit Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning when it was quiet and uncrowded, which made us very happy. It seems it became a wonderful memory for my sister as well. Thank you very much for taking so many photos for us.

The Japanese dinner was very delicious. Breakfast was just right. If I had to be picky, it would have been even better if rice porridge had been an option for breakfast. That said, the staff were professional and made our stay very comfortable. The Room was clean and tidy, and having a massage chair was a nice touch. The bathroom in the Room also had a drying function, which was very helpful. There were also a large public bath, a sauna, and private family baths. The large public bath is available even late at night, which worked well for us—we could bathe after sobering up around midnight. We would like to stay again.

This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.
