"Shioun" is a retro-modern Onsen Property with only 7 Rooms, located right in front of Kawazu Beach. As a sister Property to "Narashinonosato Gyokusui" and "Omuro no Mori Gyokusui," it was newly renovated and reopened in September 2022. All Rooms are equipped with ocean-view open-air baths, and we have maintained the tradition of Onsen water directly sourced from the spring and temperature control by our dedicated Onsen caretaker, a commitment upheld since the founding of Gyokusui over a century ago. For dinner, we offer Japanese kaiseki cuisine that delights both the eyes and the palate. For breakfast, we prepare Western-style dishes using seasonal ingredients from Izu. To fully enjoy our location, just a 0-minute walk to the beach, we provide "beach walking gear" for our guests.

Our property's pride, the kaiseki cuisine. We carefully prepare and serve each dish with fresh seafood caught in the Genkai Sea. Please savor the bounty of the sea that Kaminato boasts. While cherishing traditional values, we pursued an even more comfortable stay by renovating some guest rooms and parts of our property in 2022. In 2025, we newly opened Kaminato Street Hanare (Kaminato Dori Hanare). The public bath Minato no Yu and Community Center BAR also opened, transforming into a property where guests can enjoy their stay even more.
