A traditional Accommodation facing the main street of Togatta Onsen. The Facilities are old, but that adds a retro charm and makes you feel like you’ve come back to your family home in the countryside... The bath is quite hot—probably around 45°C—but there’s a hose on the faucet so you can cool it down before getting in. The meals had a nostalgic taste, featuring plenty of mountain vegetables. It feels like an Accommodation for adults. There is a public bathhouse right in front, where you can enjoy various types of baths. The parking lot is next door and easy to use. If you make a Reservation the day before, you can buy croissants as a souvenir at checkout. They’re extremely delicious and perfect as a snack while sightseeing at Okama and other spots. I will stay here again.

This was my first time staying here. It’s a small hotel nestled in the forest. The surroundings are quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. When I stepped inside, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was—it made me wonder if I should take off my shoes before entering! The wooden-style room had a toilet, shower room, and a spacious sink area. Part of the elevated floor served as a large bed. The lights automatically turned on and off based on movement, which meant no need to manually switch them when getting into bed or waking up for the restroom—so convenient! And the baths! There’s an indoor bath on the first floor and an open-air bath on the second floor, both available for private use. The stone tubs were spacious with crystal-clear water, and while soaking in the outdoor bath under overhanging tree branches was amazing, even the indoor bath felt clean and refreshing. The design is minimal yet perfectly thought out—for example, there’s a spotlight-like light by the bed that’s ideal for reading or an unexpectedly long clothes rack that turned out to be very practical. It made me wonder if the owner might be an architect because they clearly understand what guests need! I’m already thinking about coming back just to stay here again—I’ve found such a gem!

I initially misunderstood, but I didn't realize that when other guests reserve this place, the bathroom, toilet, and living room are shared with them except for the bedroom. Since I was with my child and thought it might cause inconvenience to others, I hurriedly called to cancel the reservation. However, fortunately, there were no other guests booked, so I decided not to cancel. As a result, we had a spacious room all to ourselves—what luck! Additionally, the host was incredibly kind. One thing to note is that bath towels are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Other than that, everything else was well-equipped. Next time I reserve this place again, I think it would be worth reserving for two groups and paying double the price just to have it all private. When that time comes again, I'll definitely book here! I will never forget the kindness of the host.

This was my first stay, and it was a comfortable Accommodation with courteous service. The Room was just the right size, and I could enjoy an evening stroll to nearby shrine events. The bath was not crowded, so I was able to relax. I was satisfied with both the quantity and taste of the meals, and it feels like a hidden gem I’d like to visit in every season. Next time, I’d like to stay in the new wing.

I won a trip to Yamagata Prefecture through JR East’s “Dokoka ni Viewn” and stayed here. The price was reasonable, and it was perfectly fine for a solo middle-aged traveler. If you want to relax in a large public bath, there’s one about a 5-minute walk away, and you can also go out for drinks afterward. Breakfast had fewer side dishes, but there were tamakonnyaku, imoni stew, dashi-style vegetables, as well as natto and grilled fish, so I had no trouble finding enough to eat. All the Accommodations in Ueki Onsen have silky-smooth water and a gentle temperature, so I can soak slowly—it's my favorite. This time I stayed at Matsunoyu on an upgraded Plan; dinner was so plentiful I couldn’t finish it, but breakfast had a lot of tsukudani-style items and felt quite salty, which was a bit disappointing.

We used this Accommodation for a weekend family trip. Most options near Okayama Station are either typical Business Hotels, JR-affiliated properties, or 3–4 star international brands—reasonably pricey but not very spacious—so we were struggling to find the right place until we found this one. The period we stayed happened to be expensive, but we felt it was worth the price. Since we have small children, having a kitchen was a big plus. Because it was a Multiple Night Stay, on days when we were tired it was great to quickly pick up local bento meals near the station and eat them in. I saw some negative comments about it being unmanned, but whenever we needed help there was a 24-hour support phone line, and they also replenished amenities for us, so it wasn’t stressful at all. We liked Anabuki Space Share’s management style as well, and if we have the chance, we’d like to stay at another of their Accommodations.

While preserving as much of its charming traditional wooden character as possible, the property has been renovated to be clean and convenient, making it very comfortable to stay in. The manager (or proprietress?) was also wonderful and welcomed us in a relaxed, unpretentious way. Next time, I’d like to bring friends and stay again.

I was able to enjoy a quiet, relaxing Onsen retreat at my own pace. The host of the Accommodation was very kind, and the quality of the Onsen was excellent. I had also made a Reservation for next week, but an urgent matter came up and I can no longer go. I’m very disappointed. In the near future, I would like to make another Reservation.

The servers and those maintaining the garden—everyone’s smiles and greetings were wonderful. We could also feel how much care the proprietress has for her guests, which really touched us. It was truly an excellent Accommodation. We’re glad we chose it, and it became a memorable

We traveled all the way from Kansai! The area is surrounded by abundant nature, offering a cool and surreal experience. The interior was impeccably clean, providing a wonderful space to relax! Lake Kawaguchi is nearby, and on clear days you can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji—though unfortunately, we missed that this time. We hope to visit again on a sunny day! It’s definitely a place we’d love to return to!

Because it is close to Ginza, I used it for an overnight stay only and returned late. There was no bathtub, but the multifunction showerhead and body jet feature helped me feel refreshed. I would like to stay again.

I was grateful that my suitcase was stored before check-in and even moved to the room I was staying in, which was very helpful. It is rare to receive such attentive service at a business hotel, so I truly appreciated it. The customer service was also polite and pleasant.

The service was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay in a clean, well-cared-for Room (Japanese-style). The meals featured a great selection of local specialties and were both fun and delicious. However, I was surprised that someone on the same floor had a dog. I could also hear it barking in the Room, which was a bit unpleasant, and I wondered whether this is allowed. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The Hotel is close to the station, and we could walk to restaurants and enjoy both meals and a stand-up bar. At a great bar we visited, the head chef of a Japanese restaurant we booked by phone that day even took the trouble to guide us there. Travel really is wonderful. The renovated(?) Hotel was truly comfortable. The front desk staff were also very pleasant.
