Three years ago, I made a Reservation at your Hotel, but I had to Cancel the Reservation due to a forecast of rain from an approaching typhoon, which led to the cancellation of the game. This time, I made a Reservation because the forecast predicts no rain. Your Hotel is located near the Morisekinoshita Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line, but since there are only two trains per hour, I walked from Natori Station on the Tohoku Line. It took about 20 minutes to walk from Natori Station to your Hotel, which felt a bit far. After watching the baseball game, on my way back to the Hotel, I was lucky to catch a train from Sendai Station to Sendai Airport, so I used the Airport Access Line. The room I stayed in was on the second floor, which was the lowest floor for guest rooms. There is a large bath in the Hotel, which I used. It was perfect for a bath after watching the baseball game. The next morning, the breakfast at Route Inn was delicious.

We stayed at this Accommodation after several days of hiking. The building feels a bit old, but it is in a quiet location, the Room was clean, and the amenities were well stocked. The baths were especially nice, with multiple tubs and soft, pleasant water. Dinner was generous, and with rice we were completely full. If possible, it would be nice to have explanations of the dishes or a menu. It’s an Accommodation we would like to stay at again.

First of all, we truly felt the hospitality of the proprietress and the staff. We were convinced they genuinely think, “Thank you for coming,” from the bottom of their hearts. The Onsen is, of course, outstanding. Gazing at the rocky surface overflowing with natural hot spring water, you can feel an immense sense of history. The meals were also absolutely wonderful. We were completely satisfied with both the taste and the portions. Just when we thought it would be a classic kaiseki course, there were creative twists that made it even more enjoyable. The tableware was also exceptionally refined and inspiring. It’s true that features such as the age of the building and facilities, and having only stairs with no elevator, may come down to personal preference depending on your generation, but for us as a couple they were not drawbacks at all. If you’re visiting Kusatsu Onsen, we think this is an Accommodation you should stop by at least once.

This was my first stay. The view from the Room was wonderful, right by Lake Hamana. Since it was summer, we brought handheld fireworks, and they kindly lent us a bucket and candles so we could enjoy them by the lakeside. They also provide a designated trash disposal area, so I highly recommend it. We chose the Plan with dinner and breakfast included and enjoyed buffet-style meals with a wide variety of options, including gyoza and eel—both my spouse and I were very satisfied. On the second day, an unexpected issue came up and we returned to the Hotel late at night; the staff assisted us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.
