Simple yet comfortable rooms, many of which have separate bathrooms and washbasins. Although there are no windows, the lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a space on the floor where you can enjoy tea and unwind. Breakfast is served in two shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with each shift lasting 30 minutes, which was surprising. It would have been helpful if this detail was clearly explained during the Reservation process. However, since there seemed to be plenty of seating available, we were not rushed even after the designated time had passed. Still, it made for a slightly hurried morning. The location is excellent with many tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

With check-in at 2:00 PM, this Hotel is recommended if you arrive in Kusatsu early and want to sightsee around Yubatake first. However, it’s hard to tell from the map, but walking from the Hotel to the downtown area where Yubatake is located requires going up and down a very steep hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk one way, but the uphill stretch is quite tough. The in-house Facility, public bath, and Room had been renovated and were clean and comfortable, but I was unlucky with my Room—the sound of rain hitting the Facility roof outside the window was loud and made it hard to sleep—so I rated the guest room two stars lower and overall satisfaction one point lower.

The room was very spacious, and I was able to relax. Amenities are minimal; there is no makeup remover, for example. The property is a bit old, but it is well cleaned. There was signage in the elevator indicating where to dispose of trash, so I sorted and threw it away in the morning. It wasn’t too far from the station and was very convenient to use. I would like to stay again.

This trip was arranged on short notice, so our schedule wasn’t fully set and there were a few changes. I was concerned about check-in, but the staff were helpful and reassuring when I called to discuss it. The Room was clean and there were no issues.

It was a clean and cozy guesthouse. The food at the bar was very delicious.

It felt like an apartment, and the Room was spacious, which was great. It was a bit inconvenient to have to go to the Hotel across the street for the bath and meals. The bath had a sauna, and the Onsen was excellent.

We arrived by rental car. At first, even with Google Maps we couldn’t find the Accommodation’s parking area and were a bit confused, but when we called the Accommodation, a staff member came to pick us up right away. Everyone on the staff was kind and pleasant. The meals were also delicious. No matter the time of day, the view from our Room of Onomichi’s townscape and Senkoji Temple was truly beautiful. We did notice some noise from footsteps in the hallway and doors opening and closing, but we were still able to rest well. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Onomichi. We made a Reservation for a barbecue lunch. It was disappointing that the price differed by 210 yen from what we were told over the phone, but everything else was fine. The bath was a bit smaller than expected, but the amenities were from MUJI, which was nice. All the staff were kind and even brought bedding for our child who fell asleep during the meal. The Room was spacious, and we were very satisfied.

We stayed as a family of four. The Japanese-style room with fluffy feather futons and a calm layout allowed us to relax comfortably. Since we had a lot of laundry, we used the coin laundry. The dryer had an option for gentle drying, which was reassuring, and there were plenty of hangers in the room for drying clothes—this was incredibly helpful. Both the room and the large public bath were clean, and parking was free! Plus, with an 11:00 AM checkout time, we could take our time. It’s rare to find accommodation where a family of four can stay together—it was perfect! We will definitely come back again!!

It was my first trip to Miyakojima. I chose this place for the location, price, and villa-style setup, and it was excellent. Having a washing machine and detergent provided was truly appreciated! There’s also a water tap near the entrance, which was helpful for rinsing off dirt. I was looking forward to breakfast as well since it’s a sister restaurant of a famous spot! You choose from a set menu, and everything was delicious. It also comes with a drink bar and soup bar. It made for a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

They kindly provided extra chopsticks for our barbecue and even helped with cleanup afterward, which felt very considerate. The Facility felt a bit old, but it was kept clean and well maintained. The child who traveled with us said they want to stay again, so we may return.

We chose a Room with a private Onsen and stayed there. It was our first time, and the futons were already laid out in the Room, with consideration given to minimizing unnecessary staff entry. As it is mineral spring water, it is heated, but the clear, colorless water was easy to soak in and warmed us up nicely even at a lukewarm temperature. The meals were excellent—sashimi and grilled fish that you wouldn’t expect for a place near the mountains. Insects may occasionally wander into the open-air bath in the Room, which some guests might find bothersome, but we were fine with it. If it were closer, we would love to visit this Accommodation again.

I was looking for Accommodation with an Onsen in southern Tochigi Prefecture and made a Reservation at this Hotel. I was also able to use the neighboring day-use Onsen and had my meals there as well. The Hotel was very clean, and although the bath is not large, I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again.

This Accommodation is truly “simple is best,” with no unnecessary breakfast included and no large public bath, but since photography is my hobby, it’s great that I can head out early in the morning without worrying about time.

I’m satisfied—I could stay with my pet and relax.

I don’t smoke, but I booked a smoking Room because the weekend Saturday rate was so affordable. The e-cigarette smell was very strong, so I kept the window open the whole time. The TV movies and adult channels were free and unlimited, which I really enjoyed! Check-out was also at 11:00, so I could take my time and felt at ease. It would be helpful if there were deodorizing mist or spray in the Room. Next time, I’ll book a non-smoking Room!

I was cautious at first because the building is pink and the Facility has a distinctive look. However, due to a typhoon-related change of plans, I ended up staying here—and for the same Accommodation Fee range, it had everything I wanted: 1) two beds (twin), 2) separate bathroom and toilet with a bathtub, 3) a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, 4) a washing machine and gas dryer, 5) plenty of free on-site parking, 6) a microwave, 7) a balcony, and 8) provided tableware. In addition, since my Room was on the 4th floor, it had an ocean view. From the corridor side, I could also see the sunset over Irabu Island. The beds are slightly soft—below what you’d expect at a luxury Hotel—but they are large enough. The provided shampoo, body soap, conditioner, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid were not poor quality. The building and Facility are not brand-new but relatively new. Everything was cleaned well. However, it seems that requesting cleaning during your stay costs extra. Room access is via an electronic key; I received a five-character code (numbers and letters) by email. The location is on the Miyakojima side at the base of Irabu Bridge, making it convenient for getting anywhere. If you have a car, there are many restaurants and large stores within about 10 minutes. Accommodation Fees and prices in Miyakojima are higher than on Okinawa’s main island or Ishigaki (though you get experiences worth more than that), so being able to stay at Pink Hibiscus at an affordable rate was great. There aren’t Hotel-style services here, but it’s very practical—especially if you spend all day at the beach or swim in the morning, come back to shower and rest for a while, then head out again in the afternoon.
