A newly opened Hotel (built last year), so it’s new and clean. The staff are polite and attentive, which leaves a good impression. The Room amenities are also new, so many aspects have been improved. There is an izakaya on the lobby floor. The Room is small, but more than sufficient for a single guest. I stayed at an APA Hotel in Aomori the day before; as a single guest I had four pillows, which I didn’t need. They just got in the way, and I only used two anyway. This time in Morioka there were only two pillows, which was better.

This was my first stay, and I had a very comfortable time. Thank you very much for your kind and attentive support. I would love to stay again.

The Accommodation is very clean and well maintained, while still retaining the charm of an old Ryokan. The owner’s hospitality is also very courteous. Perhaps because it was summer vacation, it was heartwarming to see their children helping out as well. The price was extremely satisfying. Breakfast featured local specialties and the portions were excellent. There was no parking fee either. There may be other fine Accommodations, but we were truly satisfied with the thoughtful service and great value for money.

The property is a prominent building located just a short walk to the left from the station's front, making it easy to reach. Although it's in the opposite direction of the downtown area, it’s still very accessible (I actually went there). However, I was disappointed with the refrigerator as it didn’t cool well; drinks were not chilled enough, and freezing ice packs was impossible even on the top shelf. Additionally, there was no bedside light, which made it difficult for me to read before bed as I usually do—the room lighting alone felt too dim. The breakfast curry and udon were delicious!

They said it was very comfortable, and the Onsen was relaxing.

The meals were delicious, and the bath was pleasantly warm so I could soak for a long time. My skin felt silky smooth.

The Room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. The shower was great, but having a bathtub would be appreciated. Overall, it was a good Hotel. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

Excellent access and a relaxed, hassle-free stay.

We arrived early, but the car navigation showed the wrong Hotel location, and we got lost in the snow. The sign was also hard to see because of the snow, so I think it’s better to check on a smartphone map. The room and meals were very good, with warm homemade food. We visited Suwa before coming, and I didn’t expect Gunma to have so much snow. Last year there wasn’t much snow, so we came with regular tires; next time we’ll come with studless winter tires. We made it home safely.

We stayed for two nights this time to heal all the fatigue of the year-end and New Year. The clean room and the Onsen in the room were excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils and appliances. My husband and I decided: "Let's work hard so we can stay at this accommodation again!" (smile) It's true :) Looking forward to staying again :)

The food was as delicious as everyone said. The herb chicken braised in red wine for the main dish was outstanding. This may have been my oversight, but I think having a wine list when ordering would have helped with choosing the type of wine and knowing when to order it. It was very quiet and perfect as a summer retreat. Away from everyday life, I was able to relax and take my time. The building may be old, but it was very well cleaned, and I could feel the owner’s warmth. Thank you very much.

We stayed here again for a bowling tournament! It’s close to the bowling alley and has parking, and there are also cafés and pasta restaurants nearby, so we really like it. Also, since it has tatami flooring, it’s very relaxing. Last time we stayed, there was a retro hair dryer and the airflow was weak, which bothered us a bit… but this time it had been replaced with a standard hair dryer, which made us very happy! The price is affordable as well, so we’d love to stay here again.

I found this Accommodation by searching for the closest place to stay near the stadium to watch a Hawks farm team game. Just as the front desk staff told me, I was able to get there in a little under 15 minutes while taking a walk through Chikugo Regional Park. I enjoyed the baseball game as well as food and beer at the stadium, and on the way back I took my time strolling back. The large public bath on the rooftop had a great view, and I even enjoyed an early morning bath. It’s not an Onsen; they pump up groundwater and heat it, and it was a wonderful bath with pleasantly soft water. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal with plenty of dishes, and my husband even had seconds of rice. The aonori seaweed miso soup in particular was delicious. Also, the tea prepared in our Room was outstanding—this really is a famous tea region. I made cold-brew tea using chilled water from the water server, and it had such a beautiful green color with a pronounced natural sweetness—excellent. On our way out, we bought tea, aonori seaweed, and miso at the shop. The surroundings were very nice, and we were able to spend our time quietly. The price was reasonable, the staff were helpful, and I’d like to stay again.

The locally caught fish dishes were very delicious. Since it wasn’t buffet-style, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The open-air bath had a milky white sulfur spring, with a great atmosphere, and it warmed us up thoroughly. It’s far even from Aomori, but it’s a hidden gem.

About a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. If I had known there was such a comfortable place to stay in the 3,000 yen range so close, I could have enjoyed Kyoto even more in the past. The bedroom is quite spacious, so there was no trouble finding space for luggage. The shower room, toilet, kitchen, living area, and other facilities were all clean and seemed to be well-maintained. Both women at the reception were friendly and provided polite service, making my stay pleasant from check-in to check-out. I would love to stay here again!

Everyone at the Ryokan, especially the proprietress, welcomed us with such warmth and thoughtful attention that we felt truly happy throughout our stay. The Accommodation itself is old, rich with history and stories, and you can really feel how lovingly it has been cared for over the years. The Onsen water was soft and silky, gently enveloping you and soothing every ache and fatigue. The meals were exceptionally delicious—each dish carefully prepared—and nourishing for both body and soul. We were deeply impressed. Even the plain white rice had a mysterious charm that stayed delicious to the very last bite. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I made a reservation with meals at a Ryokan for the first time. The guidance to the room, explanations, meal service, and futon preparation were all smooth. We stayed here with three generations over the New Year. It was a bit small for four adults, but as a family, the minimum Facility was sufficient. The location was convenient for sightseeing, with a subway station within walking distance. The staff provided polite and pleasant service, making our stay enjoyable. We hope to try a different room next time. The breakfast was also very delicious.

Despite my last-minute Reservation during the off-season, you responded with great care. I believe I was the only guest, but both the Room and the bath were very comfortable. Having a washbasin in the Room was convenient.

I was drawn back by the incredibly charming building and the warm, welcoming interior, and I stayed here again. Not only that, but with its comfort, well-equipped Facility, and the wonderful personalities of the owner couple, it’s a place that truly makes me want to return. Last time I traveled solo; this time we stayed as a couple, and my husband was very happy too. On Yakushima there are surprisingly few Accommodations where you can relax at your own pace without worrying about others, but Morinokokage is a place where you can truly unwind. The Room has its own private bath and toilet, which is also a great plus—you can use them whenever you like. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy nature while gently swaying in a hammock and spend a truly luxurious time. Separate top-and-bottom pajamas and thoughtful amenities. Plus, the laundry and dryer are free to use, which is an extremely helpful service for longer stays or for those going trekking. A clean, comfortable—and irresistibly cute—Accommodation that naturally brings a smile to your face. When I visit Yakushima again, I would love to stay here once more. Thank you very much.
