We were upgraded to a better Room, allowing us to relax unexpectedly and rejuvenate both physically and mentally. The welcome message card and Japanese sweets placed on the table in the Room, as well as the thoughtful design around the washbasin (such as towel placement), showed great attention to detail. These small touches made our stay very pleasant. As for the Facility, we especially enjoyed the waterfall bath in the onsen. It was wonderful, and we could fully enjoy our bathing time after a long while. The bath salts also had a lovely fragrance. At the front desk, although different staff members assisted us each time, everyone was kind and attentive, which gave us peace of mind. This is what matters most. The location is convenient as well. If given another opportunity, we would love to stay here again. Thank you very much for this experience!

The Room was clean, the bathroom was spacious with a reheating function, creating an amazing space! The bedding was so comfortable that I wondered which mattress it was—it was truly excellent! Both the morning sunlight and the nighttime tranquility allowed me to feel nature deeply and provided great relaxation!

This Accommodation is well equipped to create an extraordinary getaway, and the bathroom in particular left a strong impression. Soaking in the jacuzzi while enjoying the ocean view, and feeling the sea breeze on the balcony, was truly wonderful. The downstairs kitchen was also easy to use, and overall the stay was comfortable. The location is convenient as well, with good access to Chichibugahama Beach in Kanonji City and Mt. Shiude. However, there were a few issues that cannot be overlooked. There are warehouses and factories behind the building, which differed from what we expected in terms of scenery. In addition, when opening the windows at night there was an odor like feces, which was a major drawback. We felt these points should have been clearly explained in advance. Another disappointment was the lack of adequate space to store clothing. Despite multiple closets in the bedroom, only a very limited area—enough for about five hangers—was available for guests to use.

Because it’s a whole-house rental, you can truly relax without worrying about other people. Although the exterior is that of an old traditional house, it has been renovated in a way that preserves the atmosphere, and it was very comfortable. The Rooms are spacious as well. There are two Japanese-style Rooms and one bedroom, so even with three of us staying, we had more than enough space. There are also two toilets, so I don’t think it would be an issue even if the maximum of eight guests stayed. The bath is large too—big enough for four adults to soak in the tub at once. However, it takes about two hours to fill with hot water, and if you run hot water for more than an hour straight, the water heater may stop due to an error. So you need to turn off the tap once before an hour is up and then start it again—an extra step that’s a bit inconvenient. The water has a slightly sulfur-like smell and feels slippery, so drinking it or washing your hands with it can feel a little odd, but as bathwater it feels like a true Onsen experience and was amazing. (I wanted to soak again in the morning but gave up because there wasn’t enough time to fill the tub.) The kitchen is spacious and seemed well equipped with cooking tools, so we cooked our own dinner. However, the provided knife was extremely dull—it couldn’t even cut fish or a baguette... If you plan to cook, I recommend bringing your own knife. (Or I’d really appreciate it if a sharper knife could be provided.) Perhaps because they filled in what used to be an earthen-floor area? The counter height is very low. I’m about 155 cm tall, and kneeling while working felt like just the right height. It might be better suited for outdoor BBQs with light prep or meals that don’t require much cutting. There are bugs. Plenty of mosquito coils and insect spray are provided—do your best and fight them off. Watching the sky from the hammock before sunset, then enjoying handheld fireworks at night— even though we only stayed one night (two days), time felt slow and relaxing, like we’d spent much longer there. A lot depends on guests’ common sense when using the place, but overall this Accommodation offers quite a bit of freedom. This time we were on what you’d call a girls’ trip, and it was refreshing to discover there was such an option in this northern area of the prefecture. I highly recommend this whole-house traditional home not only for families or groups but also for smaller parties. I’d love to come back again if I have another chance.

I stayed for two nights, one with No Meals Included and the other with dinner and breakfast included. Learning about the centuries of history cherished by everyone in this mountain area was truly inspiring. I had a very comfortable stay, feeling protected by the mountains, which allowed me to sleep soundly. The local cuisine prepared by the community was exceptional (starting with tempura of sweet buns and many other unique dishes!). Knowing that hot water was boiled using firewood added to my happiness! It was hard to leave, and since I couldn’t see the starry sky this time, I hope to visit again!

A villa with a relaxing interior and a spacious poolside terrace offering stunning ocean views! The terrace provided a breathtaking view of Okinawa's beautiful sea, and the BBQ we enjoyed there was absolutely fantastic. It was my first time using a tent sauna, and the temperature rose higher than I expected—then straight into the pool for a dive! Relaxing in the hammock during an outdoor air bath was pure bliss. From check-in to check-out, we fully enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was such a luxurious experience that I wished we had booked for a Multiple Night Stay. I would love to visit again!

We stayed for one night with three dogs to celebrate the New Year, and it turned out to be a highly satisfying experience. Considering the year-end traffic and the cold weather in Karuizawa, we opted for the bullet train this time. After exploring the outlet mall directly connected to the station, we took a taxi for about 11 minutes at a cost of approximately 3,500 yen. Later, we found out that Shuttle Service was available, so checking in advance would make things smoother. The property is very spacious—about half the size of Tokyo Dome by feel—and fully enclosed. It felt like an entire dog park, providing great peace of mind when traveling with pets. Although limited to one group per day, there are three tents available. For two people it feels luxurious; six people might strike a better balance. The dogs were relaxed throughout our stay and enjoyed their freedom without concern for others—a major highlight. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with drinks and used the sauna before dinner. The sauna allowed "löyly" (steam infusion) with around nine types of aroma oils provided. At about 90°C (194°F), it was perfect for working up a good sweat. While there wasn’t a cold plunge pool available, winter’s chilly outdoor air sufficed without inconvenience. The distance from the sauna to showers could be improved slightly; however, having a bonfire area right outside made outdoor relaxation part of its charm—I wish we'd checked in earlier! Dinner was BBQ-style featuring high-quality meats and vegetables along with delicious fish appetizers and soup as starters. A selection of wines including red wine starting at 5,500 yen as well as white wine and champagne were also offered. The BBQ venue had enclosures and heaters ensuring comfort even during colder seasons. The Room felt chilly due to exposure from outside air but came equipped with electric blankets plus heaters making sleeping conditions manageable overall—though stronger or additional heating units would enhance comfort further especially if you're sensitive towards cold temperatures; bringing extra warm clothing is recommended! Morning began again inside saunas followed by breakfast consisting thoughtfully prepared soup alongside Akagi beef shigureni bento boxes which delivered both satisfying portions & flavors alike! Throughout every interaction staff maintained pleasant professionalism striking ideal balance between attentiveness yet respecting privacy leaving lasting positive impressions behind too! Finally returning back via Shuttle Service ensured seamless end-to-end convenience concluding memorable stay altogether! Looking forward revisiting during spring/autumn seasons next time experiencing different scenery/atmosphere altogether anew!

From the moment we opened the villa door, our whole family was amazed! The Room interior, spaciousness, and jacuzzi— and above all, the sunset, starry sky, sunrise, and ocean views from the balcony. Everything was breathtaking, and everyone said, “This villa is amazing! We’re so glad we chose it.” On our last day, we also enjoyed a barbecue while watching the sunset. Heart Rock and Tokei Beach were within walking distance for a stroll, and my nephew was thrilled to see colorful fish while snorkeling. We would definitely love to stay again!

From the moment you enter the property, you’re greeted by a view that makes you wonder, “Is this really Japan?” The stylish building, lush green lawn, and magnificent ocean view all create an extraordinary escape. This was a gift trip for my companion, and they were truly delighted. - The building feels like a luxurious resort. It’s spacious, impeccably clean, and simply wonderful. With three bedrooms, it’s great for larger groups, but it also had just the right Facility for two people to relax and unwind. From the living room, bedrooms, and bath, the views are breathtaking—an uninterrupted panorama of sea and sky. Bath time while watching the sunset was the highlight of our trip. At night we stepped out onto the balcony to enjoy drinks and stargaze; in this indulgently quiet setting where you hear only the waves, we could admire a sky full of stars. - We also used the BBQ option. We asked to slightly reduce the amount of meat and upgrade the selection; it was just the right portion size, and we were able to grill spiny lobster (Ise-ebi) we bought at a local seafood market as well. Everything is well equipped and clean—even beginners can enjoy BBQ safely with peace of mind. (Please note: as it is in a residential area nearby, use is available until 9:00 PM.) This was our first trip to Izu Oshima, and staying at Miko’s place was absolutely the right choice. We would love to stay here again when we return to Oshima!

I was completely satisfied as my top priority when choosing a Hotel is to avoid any unpleasant experiences! The staff were very kind and natural, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful stay. Since it was the middle of my trip and I had accumulated laundry, having a washing machine and dryer in the Room was incredibly helpful. Detergent for two loads was also provided, which impressed me. The bathroom only has a shower; there is no bathtub. There are no convenience stores within walking distance, and there are only a few izakayas nearby. However, I enjoyed walking to see the ocean and visiting a famous soba restaurant in the area. There were almost no concerns about insects either. The front desk had an adorable Hawaiian vibe. I would definitely love to stay here again!

The weather was cloudy and rainy, so we could only catch a glimpse of the majestic view of Mt. Fuji, which was a bit disappointing... The location would have been amazing on a clear day. Since it was an entire villa, it felt like staying in a private vacation home and was very relaxing. Personally, I found it very convenient that there was a washing machine and the bathroom had a drying function. The meals were also delicious. Above all, the staff were kind and efficient in their service, which made our stay even better. Thank you for taking care of us!

The East China Sea view from the infinity pool, the 180-degree panoramic scenery, carefully selected furniture, tableware, and glasses—all were exceptional. The sunset visible from the jet bath was breathtaking. Amenities and complimentary food stocks were abundant, and the alcohol selection was satisfying (prices were very reasonable). As an elderly couple, we preferred pork shabu-shabu over barbecue. Despite our unusual request for a pot, it was kindly prepared for us. When my wife requested a rotating hair dryer, they even bought a new one just for her—truly outstanding service! For the pork shabu-shabu, we sourced Agu pork from Kinjo Meat in Motobu Town—it was delicious. We enjoyed Agu pork with fine drinks by the ethanol fireplace for a delightful evening. However, since the room is spacious, heating wasn’t very effective and it felt slightly cold at times. Additionally, as the kitchen is small, it’s not ideal for extensive cooking—something to keep in mind. Despite these minor drawbacks though, this accommodation left such a positive impression that they hardly mattered! We’ll definitely return during warmer weather! P.S.: The road leading from the main highway to this accommodation is narrow and uneven. If renting a car during your stay here, we recommend opting for a compact SUV!

It was a wonderful stay. The interior and appliances were stylish, but the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and had lovely smiles. I will definitely visit again!

It was a midsummer stay. The room was already cool at check-in, and we really appreciated that the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast bread, jam, and fruit. Compared with other vacation rentals we’ve stayed at, this level of thoughtfulness is rare, so we were genuinely impressed.

This was a two-story, whole-building rental Facility renovated from a traditional storehouse. While it retained its old-world charm, everything was very clean overall. The bathroom and other water areas were modern and comfortable, and even though it was February, it never felt cold at all. The handmade furniture and the provided folk-craft tableware were all thoughtfully chosen and truly lovely. Some items were available for purchase, but unfortunately the wine glasses I especially liked weren’t for sale—I’m still looking for something similar. The location was easy to access, the staff were kind, and it was an excellent Facility that exceeded expectations. The breakfast bread and fruit were delicious as well, making for a very comfortable stay.
