Thank you very much for your hospitality. I stayed here on a trip with my father. Because there was a family with children next door, we were slightly bothered by the sound of running inside, and it was also difficult to use the bath with the blinds open. I found myself wondering whether it might be visible from the road across from the property. Also, since there is no hedge or barrier between neighboring terraces, I thought a low fence might be helpful. As it was the season for stink bugs, there were quite a few indoors, so additional measures would make it even better. However, the food was exceptionally delicious, so overall we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again someday.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Nadeshiko Room. The Accommodation is quite far from the familiar sights of residential areas and shops, but it’s in a wonderful location surrounded by the greenery of Takayama Village. After seeing Raiden Falls, we were truly moved by the nature there. The Accommodation isn’t large and has a historic feel, but the interior has been nicely renovated. After check-in, simply relaxing in the lobby with a bowl of matcha while looking out at the trees right in front of us was incredibly soothing. The Nadeshiko Room we stayed in was especially spacious and barrier-free, so we could unwind comfortably. This time it was just the two of us and we’re still doing fine physically, but with this layout, we felt we could come back even when we’re older—and also imagined how nice it would be to visit with our son and his wife. Above all, the Onsen was absolutely amazing! We’ve stayed at many Onsen Accommodations, but here we could soak in a free-flowing hot spring bath with yunohana floating on the surface while enjoying seasonal views through the window. With its size and cleanliness, this Onsen is hands down our best experience ever. We were informed in advance, but the water temperature is quite hot, so if you prefer a milder bath you may need to adjust it. The meals were simple yet delicious dishes that made great use of ingredients unique to a mountain Ryokan—everything felt wholesome and nourishing. The river fish had no odor and tasted great; however, since there are only a few Rooms, I would have loved it served more freshly grilled. It was slightly firm, so my husband wondered if it might have been smoked. Overall, it was an ideal Accommodation for escaping everyday noise and spending time at ease. Choosing this place from all the options we researched before our trip was absolutely the right decision. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple. We made a Reservation because we were looking for an Accommodation where we could relax around Lake Yamanaka, and it turned out to be even better than we expected. What we loved - The grilled rainbow trout at dinner was excellent. We don’t often get the chance to eat it, and it was especially memorable among all the dishes. - The wine-fed beef tenderloin was very tender and cooked perfectly. The garlic grilled rice ball we ordered as an extra was also a great choice. - Breakfast was just as enjoyable, with freshly made hot sandwiches and handmade soba. The soba had a wonderful aroma that really stood out. - The Room and bath were spotless and comfortable. Even details like the placement of outlets were convenient, and we could feel the thoughtful care throughout. - We were happy to have a view of Mt. Fuji from our Room. - Above all, the owner and his wife were truly lovely people. They welcomed us warmly and also told us about Myojinyama Panorama Terrace (mentioned below). The next morning, we visited Myojinyama Panorama Terrace as recommended, and enjoyed an amazing view overlooking both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka—one of the highlights of our trip. We suggest going a bit early, ideally by around 9:00 a.m., since parking is limited and it gets crowded. Everything—from the food to the scenery to the hospitality—was highly satisfying, and on our way home we kept saying how glad we were that we chose this place. We highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone who wants to spend a relaxing time in Lake Yamanaka. We’d love to visit again in another season.

We stayed at a private villa of Mihokan during the Obon holiday to visit both Izumo Taisha and Miho Shrine. The two-story traditional house was beautifully maintained, clean, and equipped with a spacious private bath. We enjoyed listening to jazz on the stereo in a relaxing atmosphere. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were abundant and featured delicious local seafood. The main building where breakfast is served has an intriguing design reminiscent of the "Infinity Castle" from Demon Slayer, making it exciting to explore. The street in front of the accommodation is beautifully paved with blue stones, leading to Miho Shrine in about five minutes. We highly recommend attending their morning ritual; even during the summer heat, the shrine grounds were filled with refreshing air that energized us for the day ahead. Additionally, the staff provided excellent service that made our stay very relaxing. Thank you very much!

Conveniently located and easy to access anywhere, this facility with a pool offers great value for its price. The room layout is well-designed, making it comfortable to stay. However, the lower price may reflect in some areas where the service could be improved. We stayed in a single-story type unit, which is the only one of its kind at this facility. Compared to other rooms, it features an indoor kitchen, drum-type washing machine, and heated pool—details worth checking beforehand. The heated pool was surprisingly helpful; you can swim comfortably even on cloudy days or at night without feeling cold. - Mosquitoes were abundant; personally, I found the outdoor kitchen challenging to use. Mosquito coils were prohibited. - As others have mentioned, choosing cleaning options can be tricky. - While BBQ equipment is advertised as free of charge, there’s a gas fee of 2,200 yen required for use. Since gas is essential for operation, this should be clearly stated instead of being labeled as "free." - The lack of a dishwasher was inconvenient since many places now provide one. - Some provided dishes were dirty and needed rewashing before use. Overall, considering its affordability, we had a satisfactory stay despite these minor issues.

We stayed as a family for our daughter’s birthday and had a wonderful time. We love campfires, so we were very happy that plenty of firewood was prepared. While adding logs to keep the fire going, we were able to relax and enjoy watching the flames. The dog run was spacious, and our dogs looked like they were having a great time. Since it’s on slightly higher ground and there are kites around, you can’t take your eyes off them. Because it was cold, we couldn’t stay outside for long. There is a dog-only Room connected to the living room, and it was spacious enough even for large dogs. We were a little disappointed that the bedroom is upstairs, away from the dogs. Considering hygiene, though, it’s understandable. It was difficult to set the bath temperature. The dining table has a built-in hot plate, which is a big plus because you can eat grilled food while it’s still warm. I’m not usually a fan of saunas, but I really enjoyed this one. It’s great that there is a tub outside the sauna where you can fill water or hot water. Since we visited during very cold weather with below-freezing temperatures, we didn’t use the cold plunge. Everything was very clean, and the grounds were well maintained with thorough cleaning and pruning throughout. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

This accommodation is highly recommended for a multiple night stay. One night is simply not enough. There are plenty of experiences to enjoy, such as cooking in a fully equipped kitchen, gathering herbs on the property, watching movies with a projector, reading books available in the room, grinding and brewing your own coffee beans, and sitting by the campfire. During this visit, I stayed for one night and felt reluctant to leave. I promised my friends that we would definitely come back again. The open space with high ceilings and large windows was incredibly pleasant. Next time, I plan to stay longer to enjoy drawing, knitting, reading books, relaxing in the sauna, or taking walks. This is the perfect place to escape from the busyness of city life and take time to reconnect with yourself—highly recommended!

Route Inn offers a great public bath. Since there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, you may need to rely on the dining area and vending machines within the Facility. As a Business Hotel, it is sufficient and provides high satisfaction.

Thank you for having me for one weekday night. I was told at check-in that the hotel was almost fully booked, but it was great to be able to check how crowded the large public bath and dining venue were, so I could use them comfortably without rushing. If I had to ask for one thing, having one more set of towels per person would have made the stay even more comfortable.

I stayed here alone this time. The Room was very clean, spacious (40 m²), and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to my Room, so I enjoyed it at a relaxed pace. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

We stayed for three nights as a family of four. It’s a little away from Kokusai-dori, and a taxi costs about 600–1,000 yen. There is a supermarket about 200 meters away, open until midnight, which is very convenient. Free tea and coffee are available in the lobby. The Room was spacious enough, with two beds and a tatami area. The hours are limited (17:00–22:00 and 6:00–9:00), but there is also a large public bath, which was great for washing off the day’s sweat. There was also an ice machine. The Hotel staff were kind, and we had a comfortable stay.

Stayed as a solo traveler.\nBy chance, I was shown to a spacious Room on the top floor.\nIt was almost too large, and I was thrilled. From the window,\nI could clearly see the neighboring castle ruins (stone walls), which was great.\nBreakfast was delicious as well, and I was very satisfied.\nIf I may mention just one thing, the smoking room on the second floor is far too hot.\nOther than that, everything is perfect. If you don’t smoke, this Accommodation comes highly recommended.

I was a little unsure about the container-style Hotel at first, but it was extremely comfortable. I couldn’t hear any noise from next door at all, and the Room was clean—an environment where I could stay for as many nights as needed. It’s difficult to use without a car due to the location, but if you have a car, it’s an excellent Hotel. The rates are reasonable as well, and I’ll stay again.

My brother and I stayed here for the Gion Ato Festival. This was my second visit; the Room was quiet, and the front desk staff were very helpful. This time as well, my brother and I talked on the way to Kyoto Station about what a good Hotel it is. Thank you for your hospitality.

During the Obon holiday period, I was looking after my grandchild and searched for a nearby Hotel where a 2-year-old could play. We stayed in a family Room created in collaboration with Miki House. While the Hotel’s structure is undeniably old, it has been beautifully renovated and we had a very comfortable stay. The children’s pool inside the Hotel, the slide and jungle gym set up in the Room, toys such as building blocks, and the evening festival-style event all delighted my grandchild. Dinner was served in our Room so we could relax without worrying about others, and the breakfast buffet offered delicious dishes made with local ingredients in a restaurant with a great view. This was an especially recommended Hotel for families traveling with children. Thank you very much.

This time, we chose this cottage so we could play the ukulele in the Room. It was our first time staying at such a wonderful Accommodation, and we were truly impressed!! Because it’s relatively new, everything was excellent—to the point that we felt like staying two nights next time. We were completely satisfied! The bedroom was spacious and relaxing; it really soothed us. Highly recommended for any occasion!

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations where I thought, “This looks different from the photos on the official website…,” so I tried not to expect too much, but I was completely satisfied with everything. The Room was spacious and clean, and the in-room toilet had been renovated—large and comfortable. The footbath was also very relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style and delicious. The staff were all very pleasant as well. By chance, there was a summer festival nearby on the day we stayed, so we enjoyed Bon dancing, food stalls, games, and even a small fireworks display. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed at this Accommodation as the destination for a long solo road trip. The exterior and interior have a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere—there’s even a barbershop inside the Hotel—and it feels like a dignified, classic Hotel from a good old time. Even the low ceilings, typical of older Hotels, felt comforting and relaxing. As for the Room itself, some furnishings do show their age, but everything was well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, which gave me great peace of mind. I used the top-floor restaurant for breakfast; even the retro chairs were carefully cared for, and you can really tell they’re valued and kept in good condition. The bathroom facilities were well maintained and clean, and things like the air conditioner controller had been updated to be easy to use today. And the in-room TV was a 50-inch smart TV—perfectly comfortable for me since I travel with a Fire TV stick. I enjoyed streaming without any cut-off screens late into the night. Because of work I haven’t been able to travel as often lately, but when I finally managed to make time and plan this trip, choosing this Accommodation as my destination was absolutely ideal. Breakfast was as satisfying as others have written—I ate too much. Newly built Hotels are all modern and spotless and tend to grab your attention, but keeping an older Hotel’s furnishings clean, beautiful, safe, and in good condition takes steady behind-the-scenes effort from the staff every day—and that’s when you truly see what hospitality is all about. If I have another chance, I’d love to visit again with staying at this Accommodation as my main purpose. Thank you very much for such a comfortable stay.

While urgently looking for an affordable Onsen Accommodation near Kagoshima Airport, I came across this place. I didn’t have high expectations, but the Room was spacious and clean, the open-air Onsen bath was very relaxing, and there was also a cold plunge in the indoor bath—overall, I was very satisfied. I didn’t make a Reservation with meals included, so I arranged it directly at the Accommodation, and it turned out to be a delicious meal made with local ingredients. The breakfast in particular was excellent.
