We stayed for 3 nights with our 1-year-old child and five adults including our parents and siblings. It was a top-floor (4th floor) Room, and the view was even more amazing than in the photos—our whole family was truly impressed! With the beach nearby and stylish cafes around, we went to the beach every morning after breakfast and loved spending time walking along the shore. With two bedrooms and two washrooms, it was comfortable even for two families. The bathroom had only a shower, but since it was summer and the space (including the changing area) was very large and comfortable, it didn’t bother us at all. The parking area was spacious, everything we needed for daily life was provided, and we felt at ease even with a small child. We also really appreciated being able to borrow items such as a baby crib. There is also a 24-hour MaxValu supermarket and Nishimatsuya nearby, which made things very convenient. We would definitely love to stay here again when we visit Okinawa with our family!

The Room was spotless and well maintained, so we had a very comfortable stay. The amenities and kitchenware were all provided—perfect! If you take the narrow path from the garden, there’s also a small beach. On the day we stayed, it was low tide, and we could even see small fish in the tide pools. The weather wasn’t great as the rainy season was starting early, but at night we could still see a beautiful starry sky through breaks in the clouds from the Room’s sky deck. They mentioned that since shell ginger flowers had started blooming, it might mean the rainy season was about to begin—and just as they predicted, it was officially announced the next day! We weren’t lucky with the weather this time, but we’ll come back again during the best season next time.

We stayed as a group of four friends and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The spacious accommodation, excellent service, sauna, meals, and activities like the bonfire were all exceptional. It was a luxurious summer vacation where we could forget about daily life and enjoy a relaxing time. The building had a charming and impressive appearance, and every room was truly beautiful. It gave us a unique feeling of both being uplifted yet relaxed at the same time. The expansive garden and courtyard were lovely, with clean sauna spaces offering peaceful areas to unwind both indoors and outdoors. In this private setting, it was so quiet that we could only hear the distant sounds of insects while enjoying complete relaxation. The meals featuring plenty of Yamanashi ingredients were delightful, as was the complimentary Yamanashi tea provided—it was incredibly delicious! We are also very grateful for the staff's attentive hospitality throughout our stay. Despite some hectic moments during check-in or dinner times, they handled everything with care and flexibility, allowing us to feel at ease. Having previously stayed at another property in this series of accommodations built from traditional Japanese houses (kominka), we found each one has its own unique charm despite sharing similar origins. We would love to return for another special occasion in the future!

We stayed as a family with children. The kids were thrilled with both the pool and the jacuzzi! Both were warm, so we could enjoy them comfortably even when it wasn’t midsummer. The BBQ area was also well equipped with plenty of amenities and supplies, so we had everything we needed to enjoy BBQ without any inconvenience. The optional BBQ set ingredients we ordered were very delicious. We woke up early in the morning and fully enjoyed the pool with the kids. They also happily played with the garden trampoline, balls, and other play equipment. The garden was spacious enough for the children to run around freely, and they played a lot and were completely satisfied. One night wasn’t enough to do everything, so next time we definitely want to stay for a Multiple Night Stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The Accommodation, with its charming thatched roof, was truly atmospheric. Even though we stayed for only one night, it felt like a special experience. In the quiet surroundings where you can really feel nature, we enjoyed carefully prepared dinner in the evening, and in the morning the colorful breakfast was as pleasing to the eye as it was satisfying in taste. The place is run by a husband and wife, and in particular the wife’s explanations were clear and easy to understand; she also expanded on our questions in conversation, which made our time there very comfortable. This is an Accommodation I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and healing getaway. It’s something you can only fully appreciate by actually going—there are many things I feel are better left undisclosed so you can enjoy discovering them yourself. The bath was deep enough to stretch out comfortably, and the hinoki scent was wonderful. It would be perfect if there were an optional plan that lets you enjoy sake in the bath. You may even be able to witness moments like a cicada molting up close, and if it’s handheld fireworks they can be done near the garden area—so I think it could also be great for families with children as a summer memory. It’s an Accommodation that made me want to return someday—perhaps during autumn foliage season at Mt. Kurikoma.

It was a three-generation trip with my parents, myself, and my son. The buffet-style meals allowed each of us to eat and drink what we liked, and although there were many guests due to the summer holidays, we were still able to fully enjoy the Onsen in the spacious large public bath. However, the weather wasn’t great on both days of our trip, so it was disappointing that we couldn’t go sightseeing in Kushimoto or do any stargazing.

With its convenient location near the station and direct access via an underground passage, it was very easy to get around without getting wet even on rainy days. From the 7th-floor lobby, we could see the area around the station and distant mountain ranges, and the view was excellent. In the lobby, hot coffee and an apple vinegar drink were available at all times, and it was also very convenient that each floor had ice and a water dispenser. What impressed me most was breakfast. The Hokkaido-style seafood rice bowl came with both steamed rice and sushi rice options, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy everything you’d hope for in Hokkaido at once—soft-serve ice cream, stir-fried jingisukan (grilled mutton), soup curry, and more. The dining staff were attentive as well, so there was none of the stress that can come with buffet-style dining; they made the trip feel even more special. The guest room had a combined bath-and-toilet unit bathroom without a separate washing area, but it was relatively spacious and I didn’t find it inconvenient. I previously stayed at another Hotel in this group in Tamachi, and I feel this group’s strengths are guest-focused service and breakfasts that exceed expectations. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

Above all, the location is excellent. The Red Brick Warehouses are just nearby. You can walk to the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway station, and it’s also a quick taxi ride. There is Ramen Ajisai right in front of the entrance. The bath was clean, and the hair dryers included Panasonic and Dyson. We were also able to try out different shampoo and conditioner. After the bath, there were probiotic drinks and ice pops. We enjoyed salmon roe at breakfast and were very satisfied. My husband especially enjoyed the desserts. We’d love to stay again.

The bath and Room were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were very kind. Both dinner and breakfast had just the right seasoning and portions, and everything was delicious. It would be perfect if breakfast included a small dessert bite and after-meal coffee. This was a Ryokan I would definitely like to stay at again and recommend to friends. We were able to stay at a great rate with IKYU benefits! The hotel was clean, and it felt nice that the housekeeping staff greeted us when we passed in the hallway. My companion was happy there was a convenience store in the building. It seems many guests stay for longer periods. I think they streamline what they can to keep prices low. Having a coin laundry was also very helpful.

It was a relaxing space. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied. The staff were kind and helpful, so I could unwind without any stress. I would like to stay here again.

Conveniently located near the station with a convenience store nearby. It was a pity that the twin Room we used didn’t have a coffee maker, but we were able to get drip coffee packs at the front desk, and there was a free drink corner in the lobby (may be temporarily unavailable depending on the time). Complimentary women’s skincare items were also available upon request, and they were provided at the hot bath Facility as well. The Room was clean, and there was no step up into the bathroom, which made it stress-free. You can check how crowded the hot bath Facility is on the TV, so we checked before going. It was quiet at night, which was nice.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. The Room had an ocean view, and the view from the Onsen was wonderful—an amazing vacation! The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in, and everything from the lobby decor to the complimentary drink service was thoughtfully provided. Everyone in our group was very satisfied, so we will stay again!

Thank you for taking care of us for one night and two days. Before we arrived at the Hotel, my son developed symptoms that seemed like heatstroke. I asked—fully expecting it might not be possible—whether we could enter the Room 1.5 hours early so he could rest, and that we would pay an additional fee if needed. A female staff member kindly agreed and even lent us an ice pillow. After sleeping for about two hours, his symptoms improved completely, and we were able to continue our trip as planned. Breakfast was also very delicious. We also appreciated the free ice pops after the bath. It was a shame that the sauna closed one hour earlier than the bath. Thank you again for everything. We would like to stay here again.

I stayed here on a business trip to Sendai. I was short on time for a meeting with a client, and leaving my luggage at the station would have been inconvenient afterward. I didn’t have time to check in, but thanks to the free lockers in the Facility, I was able to store the bags I didn’t need for the meeting. It was a huge help, and I’d like to stay here again.

I wanted a non-smoking Room, but none were available at the time of Reservation. Since my wife is sensitive to the smell of cigarettes, I emailed to confirm, and received a prompt and courteous reply, which allowed us to head to the Hotel with peace of mind. On the day, our Room was changed to a non-smoking Room, and we were also able to relax in the large public bath and recover from our trip. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

Getting between the Main Building and the West Building is a bit unusual, but you only need to move when using the large public bath and during check-in/check-out, so it’s not much of an issue. With convenience stores and restaurants nearby, the location is very convenient, so even with No Meals Included it’s not inconvenient. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

The building feels a bit old, but the Accommodation is clean and well maintained throughout. The front desk staff were all polite and kind. Because it was hot, they kindly let us into our Room earlier than the check-in time, which was a big help. We had a beautiful view of Lake Shinji from the Room. The Onsen was very relaxing, and dinner was delicious—we were able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. We also made a Reservation for the private bath, and it was truly amazing. A must-try! Everything was wonderful, and it’s an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

I stayed here to catch an international flight departing in the morning. This was my second stay, following last year. As soon as you leave the Hotel, you’re at the departure lobby, and both check-in and check-out are smooth, so it’s stress-free. The Room I used had a separate bath and toilet, which made it very convenient. I was also happy that the amenities were Decorté. Some beds don’t suit me, but at this Hotel I didn’t hurt my back at the start of my trip, and I felt reassured even for a long flight afterward. I have no complaints. I’d like to stay again.
