It was a Hotel in a quiet, nature-filled setting—perfect for switching off and relaxing at ease. Since I stayed on a weekday, the club lounge wasn’t very crowded, and I was able to enjoy drinks slowly while looking out over the garden. Time passed gently, and I spent the stay feeling truly elegant and at peace. They also provided in-Room services such as welcome sweets and sparkling wine. Although the bathroom was a unit bath, the bathtub was spacious, and they even prepared bath salts, which made me feel that the entire Hotel was a place where you can genuinely unwind. This time I accidentally forgot to visit the tea lounge, and it was also a bit disappointing that the lobby staircase was under construction—but I’ll take that as something to look forward to next time. It’s a Hotel I would definitely love to visit again.

This was my second stay since the Accommodation first opened. I chose it for its great location right by the station and because I wanted to have the straw-grilled bonito for breakfast. I was very satisfied. I will stay here again.

This Accommodation’s Onsen was simply outstanding. The large public bath is divided into “Toki-no-Yu” and “Inishie-no-Yu,” and there are so many options—including indoor baths and open-air baths—that you can’t enjoy them all in just one night. There’s also a sauna, so it’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to sweat and unwind. Another small delight is the complimentary drink (Yakult) provided after your bath. Our Room had twin beds. It wasn’t huge, but it was calm and relaxing. When we opened the window early in the morning, we could hear birds singing—an experience you don’t usually get in the city center. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that we wanted to extend our stay.

With direct access to Okayama Station, it was convenient for both the Shinkansen and local trains. It was raining on the day of my stay, but they lent me an umbrella when I left my luggage before check-in, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Okayama. I would like to stay here again when I visit Okayama.

From the warm hospitality to the excellent service from all the staff, we had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed unexpected activities such as the table tennis service, and the ocean view from our Room was beautiful—making it a truly memorable day. The meals offered a great variety, and we were able to fully enjoy many of Toyama’s local specialties. The evening course dinner was carefully prepared dish by dish, and we were extremely satisfied. One thing we hope will improve further is the overall cleanliness and odor inside the building. We stayed in a non-smoking Room, but noticed a slight smell of cigarette smoke on the floor. Since it is such a lovely Ryokan, improving this point would make the stay even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful—this is a Ryokan we would like to give five stars. It’s a place we would love to visit again with our family. We would be even happier if these points have been improved by our next visit.

After reading other guests’ Reviews, I learned that the bathroom and toilet are separate and that there is a shower chair, so I made a Reservation. I had been standing for a long time at my favorite artist’s concert, and it was extremely hot, so by the time I got back to the Hotel I was exhausted, but I was able to relax in the bath and soothe my fatigue with a bath salt I chose on the 1st floor (it said it helps you sleep well). The next day, since checkout isn’t until 12:00 p.m., I could take it easy—going out for breakfast and enjoying a morning bath. There was also a coffee machine next to the amenities on the 1st floor, and I appreciated being able to drink coffee freely. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed in a twin Room to celebrate a birthday. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere, and the Room was comfortable with a generously sized sofa by the window where we could relax. There were several check-in terminals, and when we started using one, a front desk staff member quickly came over to assist us. It also has great access to Minato Mirai, Motomachi, and Chinatown, so we would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

We stayed in two Rooms with my elderly mother, my sister, and us as a couple. My mother requested a Room with beds and meals served at a table and chairs, so we chose Senkyoro. The dining area was wonderful, with spacious seating arranged comfortably. The food was delicious, and the tableware was beautiful down to the small bowls. The Onsen had milky-white water and felt very relaxing.

I stayed here with my parents and my younger sister’s family. After we arrived, we were kindly guided to our Room. It was very clean, and the children were thrilled. When we asked to use the private family bath, they were able to make a Reservation at a perfect time around dinner, so we could relax and enjoy it. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. I wanted to try the sake and vinegar prepared by the proprietress as well, but things were hectic and I couldn’t—next time I definitely will. Vinegar was served during the meal too, and it was excellent. We also enjoyed the dessert. My child loves origami, and they had origami paper available in the lobby, which made them very happy as they folded it. Our whole family was very satisfied with Shikanoyu Hotel. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. Since I was traveling with an elderly person, the direct access from the station was very convenient. All the staff were kind and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and I looked forward to it every morning. The Room was spacious enough and very clean. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

From the warm welcome by the staff to their guidance at mealtimes, everyone was very kind. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious—we were completely satisfied. Also, the Onsen water in our Room was wonderfully soft and felt great for the body, so we ended up soaking many times. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I was looking forward to Richmond’s breakfast because I’d heard you can enjoy local specialties, and here the octopus rice and almond toast were delicious. The amenities and drink bar are also well stocked, which makes it easy to head out with minimal luggage. If I have a chance to visit around Himeji again, I’ll be happy to stay here again. A secluded mountain Accommodation near Shimoda. The Rooms are spacious and well laid out, making it easy to relax. The Room and location are great, and a cute kitty will welcome you. The pH 9.5 hot spring water and the hostess are outstanding. Meals are just right for older guests; younger guests may want to adjust with extra rice. It’s also only about a 3-hour drive from Tokyo, so highly recommended!

Because we enjoyed our previous stay so much, we came back again. It was convenient to leave our luggage at the information center in front of Kintetsu Nara Station. The Room had an even better view than last time, and my mother was delighted. We were able to relax in a private dining room for both dinner and breakfast. The meals were delicious as well. The skip-floor Room was very comfortable. Being able to have up to five people in one Room, and also sleep in separate areas, made it perfect for a three-generation trip. We had breakfast at the Accommodation and ate lunch and dinner at restaurants on the island. The Hotel’s breakfast and dinner are set menus, but given the island location that seems unavoidable. Breakfast had a gentle flavor, used local island ingredients, and was delicious. We also rented a car from the Hotel, so they provided Shuttle Service to the airport, and the snacks in the Room were so good that we bought some to take home. We borrowed a desk lamp for our child’s summer homework, and having a washing machine in the Room was convenient as well. Our child didn’t want to swim so we didn’t go into the sea, but the beach in front of the Hotel was beautiful, and there was also a spot where you could lie down at night and watch the stars. It felt like quiet countryside reminiscent of Okinawa’s remote islands, but if we have another chance to visit, I’d like to stay in the South Wing with an ocean view right in front of us.

This was my first time visiting Arima Onsen. I booked a good-value Plan with a lighter meal, but there was so much food that I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it all. The Onsen tickets were included, so I could enjoy other Onsens as well—it was wonderful. The Shuttle Service to the bus stop was very helpful. All the staff were very kind, and I was truly impressed. I would love to visit again.

The meals at the restaurant were wonderful and delicious both at dinner and breakfast! The Room was also clean and comfortable. It seems our Room could be made into a connecting room, so when a family group checked into the neighboring Room, we were slightly bothered by voices and noise, but it soon settled down. The staff were also very courteous. Thank you very much.

It was very convenient, as the Hotel is close to a streetcar stop and there are shopping streets and commercial facilities nearby. I really liked the bathroom with a washing area, and the bathtub was spacious. However, the underside of the drain cover was darkened, so I would appreciate it if this kind of detail could be cleaned without being overlooked. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable Room, and I would like to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Hiroshima.
