Thank you for upgrading our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the open-air bath in the room. The meals were luxurious and more than we could finish. It was a very nice accommodation. The location was great, allowing us to explore the onsen town! Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple during Golden Week. Above all, we were truly impressed by how wonderful the meals were. Luxurious ingredients you can only enjoy here—such as Kesennuma’s famous shark fin and shark—were served, and everything was delicious. We were moved by each and every dish. We’re originally from Shikoku and regularly enjoy fresh seafood, but the abalone sashimi and oysters in particular were exceptional—an unforgettable taste. The Accommodation was spotless throughout, and the garden was beautifully maintained, making our stay very comfortable. At breakfast, you kindly shared various stories about Oshima, and when we left, everyone waved to us until we were out of sight. Your warm hospitality left us feeling genuinely touched. This is a lovely Accommodation where you can truly relax, and it will stay with us for a long time. We took walks around the area in both the morning and evening, and found great comfort in the birdsong, the star-filled sky, the clear air, and the unhurried island pace of life. Within walking distance is Jūhachi Naruhama Beach (designated a Natural Monument), well worth a visit. (It’s a mysterious beach that makes a squeaking sound when you walk on it.) Our only regret is that we arrived just in time for check-in this trip and left early in the morning. Since we live far away we can’t visit often, but next time we would love to stay longer at a more relaxed pace. Thank you very much to everyone at the Accommodation!

A major highlight is the large public bath, available from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. It’s spacious and refreshing—much nicer than a standard in-Room unit bath. The accommodation rates are also reasonably priced.

Stayed on a weekday before the Obon holiday in August with the most affordable plan for 4 people. Despite some initial concerns, it was excellent value for money and an incredibly satisfying stay. The room was about 12 tatami mats in size, with a spacious hallway entrance and a wide sitting area by the window overlooking trees, comfortably seating four people. The bathroom had two sinks, and while there was a toilet in the room, there were also toilets located throughout the hallways and other areas. The bath was spacious with slightly sulfur-scented Onsen water that left my skin feeling smooth. Meals were served at tables in a large tatami-floored dining area. There was a menu provided along with explanations from staff members. While not extravagant, the dishes were creative and deliciously satisfying. For those wanting more luxurious options like beef or crab dishes, upgrading to another plan might be better suited. Tea and water were self-serve but made using tea leaves rather than tea bags, which made it taste better; even the water itself tasted great! After check-in, our luggage was carried to our room by staff who were kind and attentive throughout our stay. The building itself is impressive yet simple in design—clean with quick elevator access—and we enjoyed relaxing without any crowds at the baths or elsewhere around the Ryokan grounds. The road leading to this Ryokan wasn’t narrow either! One thing to note: they provide yukata robes but only one Onsen towel besides bath towels; so bringing your own pajamas or face towels might be helpful (especially if you find sleeping in yukata uncomfortable like I do). Would love to visit again!

One night with breakfast and dinner I stayed here on the final day of my journey of land purification and integration. This seaside Accommodation offers an Onsen bath, delicious meals, and warm hospitality from the owner. Thank you very much.

With a location right in front of Mt. Fuji, opening the curtains in the Room revealed a perfect view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. A small wooden deck with a wooden table and chairs allowed for an amazing coffee experience while enjoying the view of Mt. Fuji. This scenery at this price is incredibly cost-effective. The Room was spacious and very satisfying. I will definitely return!

I forgot my charging cable, but they kindly lent me one. However, one slim man with glasses who was working around 19:40 on 3/8 had a very rude attitude, so I think he should be better trained. Other than that, the foreign staff were polite, and the bath was very pleasant.

Although the Facility is old, it’s inexpensive and close to the bars and restaurants near the station, so I was personally very satisfied. I wasn’t sure about the parking lot, but a front desk staff member kindly came outside to guide me, which was very helpful. Also, they accommodated my early departure time with the free breakfast, which I really appreciated. Thank you very much.

This is a family-run guesthouse operated by a couple. On the day of my stay, it was almost just me, so I was able to spend a quiet, relaxing time after coming down from the mountain. If I had to ask for one thing, having a bath towel would have been helpful... Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Hakuba for hiking. When I asked about the return bus schedule, they kindly provided Shuttle Service to the station, which was a huge help in the rain. It’s an Accommodation where their warm hospitality really shows, and I would recommend it.

I took a solo trip to see the weeping plum blossoms in Fushimi and at Jonangu Shrine. I also wanted to stay at a book Hotel, so I chose this Hotel without hesitation. The two female staff members were friendly and easy to talk to, and they listened to me the whole time while I enjoyed whiskey at the bar. There are many books focused on Kyoto—irresistible for book lovers and Kyoto fans. After that, I enjoyed the short movie time, and the Room was comfortable, making it a wonderful trip. When I go to Kyoto, I will definitely stay at this Hotel again. Thank you very much.

It still has a Showa-era atmosphere, and it felt like a family trip staying at an old-style guesthouse, which was really nice. The bath was also very relaxing. If you’re looking for the feel of a modern Hotel, it may be different, but I thought it was great. The sheets and futons felt clean, and my wife was satisfied as well. We could see Mt. Fuji, and the kids were happy too.

It was challenging to find the way as the entrance is through a narrow alley, but I appreciated the guidance provided. Although there seemed to be a rock bath available, I was too tired and used the bath in my Room instead. Even so, I was able to relax and enjoy it at my own pace.

The location is convenient, with access to both the Keikyu/Toei Asakusa Line and JR Takanawa Gateway Station. Being able to choose different train lines depending on where you’re going or for work is very helpful. At Takanawa Gateway Station, there are upscale supermarkets such as Seijo Ishii and Meidi-Ya, as well as Facility options for light meals, which is convenient. Keikyu Sengakuji Station is small, but you can reach Narita or Haneda Airport directly on one line (however, there are no elevators or escalators, so carrying a suitcase up the stairs—or traveling with limited mobility—can be tough). Considering the price, the Hotel Room isn’t especially large, but it doesn’t feel too small and was more than sufficient. The bathroom and other areas were very well cleaned. I also liked that amenities aren’t excessively provided in the Room—it stays neat without waste (you pick up what you need at the front desk). For a Multiple Night Stay, daily cleaning isn’t provided, but I think it’s eco-friendly and better than having people coming in unnecessarily. You can also ship luggage from the Hotel, which is convenient when you end up with lots of work equipment or souvenirs. Boxes were available for purchase as well.

The staff were very friendly, and the check-in instructions were easy to understand. Even at this time of year, we were able to use the jacuzzi while the sun was out. The bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view in the morning, making for a very pleasant stay.

I stayed in a private Room at a great price in central Naha—right in the Matsuo and Tsuboya area. I usually make Hakuseiso my regular place because it offers affordable private Rooms nearby, but this time I decided to try this Accommodation because it advertised “comfortable beds.” My impression is that the free air conditioning and the comfortable bed were better than Hakuseiso. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. However, there was an indescribable sweaty smell coming from the shared shower and toilet areas, and it seemed to linger throughout the entire first floor. Since my Room was on the second floor, I only had to deal with it when using the sink area or the shared refrigerator. As this is a budget Accommodation, I don’t expect premium Facilities, but I really hope something can be done about that smell. Also, there was a photo of a smiling elderly cleaning staff member posted in my Room along with a comment, which felt comforting. Perhaps the owner could also put up notices with kind messages and a smile (in addition to rule postings)? With hopes for improvement as well, I gave full marks.

The room is very clean, and the toilet and bathroom are separate, so you can relax comfortably.

Judging from the exterior photos of the building, I honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I was truly impressed by the attentive service. The view of Tanzan Shrine from the Room was as beautiful as a postcard. On the day of my stay, I was told there would be an illumination at Tanzan Shrine, and I was moved to see the fantastical buildings and cherry blossoms. When I mentioned that I would go for an early-morning walk, they kindly prepared shoes for me even though it was 6:00 a.m., and they were waiting for me when I returned. At breakfast, while enjoying ozoni served with local kinako, I also heard various stories about the area from the staff. After attending morning worship at Tanzan Shrine and strolling around the grounds for a while before returning to the Hotel, they even drove me in their Shuttle Service despite how close the parking lot was. The building does show its history in places, but it’s clear that careful attention has been paid to details such as renovated bathrooms, toilets, and windows. The cleaning is also extremely thorough. It was a wonderful Accommodation.

We were very satisfied with the sauna.

Takashima is known for its thriving tuna and tiger puffer fish farming, as well as its stunning natural scenery. Despite being just as accessible from Fukuoka as the popular tourist destination of Yobuko, it remains relatively undiscovered by tourists and retains its charm. While there are fewer restaurants specializing in live squid, you can enjoy fresh horse mackerel, tuna, tiger puffer fish, and other seafood dishes at very reasonable prices. Notably, tiger puffer fish here is available at half the price compared to areas like Kitakyushu, Shimonoseki, or Usuki. This establishment has a long history and some parts show their age; however, it's worth visiting before it becomes overly commercialized or expensive—definitely worth looking into!
