The Room is very functional and easy to use. The bed is comfortably firm, so there’s no trouble sleeping. The bathtub is more than sufficient. The provided shampoo and other amenities are organic, which makes it very satisfying.

Thank you for the very attentive service and for explaining everything in detail. The view from the room was amazing. Additionally, there were plenty of manga and board games available, making it enjoyable to spend time at the accommodation. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

The hospitality, meals, and 24-hour Onsen helped melt away our fatigue after hiking.

I stayed in a private Room with an ocean view. The Room was spacious, and the entire building is clean and well maintained. There is a bath with a bathtub, separated for men and women. There are washing machines (I think there were three) and one dryer. Detergent is free. There are also plenty of items for drying clothes in your Room. Amenities are well stocked. The Room has a microwave, refrigerator, and tableware. I stayed at several Accommodations on Tanegashima, but this was the most comfortable one. Check-in and check-out are done via tablet, so you generally won’t meet any staff in person. You will receive a link in advance to register as a guest; once registered, you’ll be sent the entrance door PIN code. If you can’t receive SMS messages or haven’t received an email, please contact the Accommodation to confirm the guest registration website. I would like to stay here again when I visit Tanegashima. We arrived early, but the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were very satisfied with the ocean view from the Room, the open-air bath, and the dinner featuring seafood and steak. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The appliances, cooking utensils, and tableware were well-equipped. I used the oven microwave, electric kettle, and hot plate, all of which were spotless. There are power outlets under the table, allowing you to use a hot plate or IH stove for grilling or hot pot dishes. With prepared ingredients, you can enjoy a pleasant stay. A river is located nearby, making it ideal for summer activities like playing in the water. Onsen access was free of charge. Since the accommodation was closed the day after our stay, we visited Sessokyo Onsen Hall for a day-use onsen experience instead. The onsen there had a silky texture that left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Highly recommended accommodation!

A very lovely accommodation with a historical atmosphere! A kind elderly lady assisted us, and the meals were delicious. Staying one night with breakfast and dinner included for 7,500 yen was a great deal! The onsen was especially relaxing in winter, allowing us to enjoy the winter scenery. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed with three people. Since it’s a 2LDK, having separate bedrooms is really nice. The view is amazing! We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels. It would be helpful if a drying rack for laundry could be placed in the Room from the start. We stayed here two years in a row. We’d like to choose this place again.

As this Facility is in Hyogo Prefecture, I think it is reasonably priced. The Room is spacious (too spacious for one person), clean, and comes with a toilet. It also has Wi-Fi, and the window facilities are well equipped. I will use it again.

I stayed alone in a cottage, and for this price, the Room, meals, and Onsen were all excellent. The kiln-baked dish was especially delicious. The staff were very kind, the Room was clean, and I was able to relax in nature. In the morning, it wasn’t a large bath but a smaller one; it was also clean and comfortable.

Stayed in summer. We were able to relax, and it would be perfect if there were a fan in the changing room.

I found this place while searching mainly for an Onsen, and since it also offers Accommodation at a reasonable price, I decided to visit. The Onsen was spacious and had a sauna, so I could relax. The entire Facility was kept very clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming—I was more than satisfied for the price. I don’t get to come to this area often, but I’ll stop by again next time.

It’s in a great location where you can go out for drinks and get back easily, comes with parking, and felt like a Room in an apartment—very comfortable to stay in! There was also a big TV, so it looked like you could watch lots of things. Towels and trash bags were available right after entering the first-floor entrance, and the Room and shower were clean! Since I didn’t spend the whole day in the Room, it was more than enough for me! I brought a large suitcase, and once opened it felt like you had to step over it to get through, so if there were two people, dealing with open suitcases might be tough. With a small suitcase, no problem at all! I’ll use it again.

At the entrance, we were welcomed by motifs of Tentoki and Ryutoki. The stone garden “Yusentei,” Aizen Garden, and Tosentei were wonderful after the rain. The Onsen was natural, but unfortunately the open-air bath was too dark to see well. The carbonate spring bath was out of order and could not be used. The shojin-ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) was very delicious. The morning service was easy to join, which was nice. What was disappointing was that some guests speaking Chinese did not bring towels into the bath at all; they then left without drying off, leaving the floor soaked. They also brought canned beer and similar drinks into the shojin-ryori meal area to drink. In addition, they talked loudly on their phones with friends while using the Wi-Fi for a long time and seemed to take up most of the bandwidth, so it could not be used properly. The staff’s response was good; even if they were not Japanese, there were no problems as long as you spoke with them. Finally, I was surprised that the Room key is secured from inside with a simple latch/bolt. In terms of security, it felt like self-management is expected.

This Onsen Accommodation is tucked away in the mountains, a short distance from the center of Shima Onsen. Although I hadn’t made a Reservation, they kindly provided Shuttle Service, which was a big help since walking in the extreme heat would have been tough. There are three private-use baths on the first floor. You can use them anytime if available, and you can also check availability online, which is very convenient. The refrigerator had chilled water inside—a nice touch. Drinks can be purchased from the refrigerator on the first floor. There is also one massage chair. The bath amenities were exceptionally well stocked—possibly the best I’ve ever seen—not only shampoo and conditioner, but also shaving foam and facial cleanser, with a wide variety of options. With three baths for a relatively small number of rooms, it felt like they were available whenever I wanted. Because it’s free-flowing natural hot spring water (kakenagashi), I could even bathe late at night. Being able to soak without worrying about others was wonderful. Compared to the Ryokan’s exterior, the dining area was chic, clean, and newly built. The food was delicious and I was very satisfied. I traveled by train and bus, so limited service frequency is a drawback—but aside from that, this is an outstanding Accommodation.

I found this accommodation on Google Maps and stayed here. The room was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. The walls seemed a bit thin as I could hear some noise from the neighboring room. The staff were kind, and considering the price, it’s a good accommodation.

You can fully enjoy Tsunagi Onsen. It’s not large, but you can experience piping-hot free-flowing Onsen water almost privately. The meals are filling too, with sashimi and steak. We also appreciated the owner’s friendly hospitality. This is an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again.

I had previously visited for a day trip to the Onsen and loved both the Onsen and the scenery, so I decided to stay overnight. The meals were excellent, the view from the Room was wonderful, and my stay was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the outdoor bath in the morning was so cold that it hardly felt like an Onsen.\n\nAs it is currently off-season, there was no shuttle bus on weekdays, which made things difficult. Even one round-trip Shuttle Service would be very helpful.

I stayed here mainly for the breakfast. Since it’s a sushi restaurant, I was surprised to be served octopus sashimi, and I was very satisfied. I’d like to stay again. If you’re staying here, I recommend choosing the Plan with breakfast included.

Next door is Sabakoyu, and across the street is the historic Nakamura Ryokan. At night, we enjoyed an in-room meal, then were moved by the owner’s shamisen performance and kouta songs. In the morning, the sunrise glowed through the shoji screens; when we opened them, we found a perfect location. The steam rising from the ohitsu rice at breakfast whetted our appetite even more. We were seen off by the proprietress and owner—hospitality that makes us certain to return.
