We chose this Accommodation for our final day. The meals were served in our Room, and above all, the Onsen was outstanding. Every dish was delicious, especially the sukiyaki and the surf clam sashimi. Breakfast was also generous, and the peach we had for dessert was sweet and very tasty. I was surprised by the proprietress’s greeting as it was my first time experiencing that, but thank you for taking the time to come and greet us. We would love to visit again. We will use the bottled natural hot spring water we received at check-out as a substitute for toner.

I was cautious at first because the building is pink and the Facility has a distinctive look. However, due to a typhoon-related change of plans, I ended up staying here—and for the same Accommodation Fee range, it had everything I wanted: 1) two beds (twin), 2) separate bathroom and toilet with a bathtub, 3) a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, 4) a washing machine and gas dryer, 5) plenty of free on-site parking, 6) a microwave, 7) a balcony, and 8) provided tableware. In addition, since my Room was on the 4th floor, it had an ocean view. From the corridor side, I could also see the sunset over Irabu Island. The beds are slightly soft—below what you’d expect at a luxury Hotel—but they are large enough. The provided shampoo, body soap, conditioner, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid were not poor quality. The building and Facility are not brand-new but relatively new. Everything was cleaned well. However, it seems that requesting cleaning during your stay costs extra. Room access is via an electronic key; I received a five-character code (numbers and letters) by email. The location is on the Miyakojima side at the base of Irabu Bridge, making it convenient for getting anywhere. If you have a car, there are many restaurants and large stores within about 10 minutes. Accommodation Fees and prices in Miyakojima are higher than on Okinawa’s main island or Ishigaki (though you get experiences worth more than that), so being able to stay at Pink Hibiscus at an affordable rate was great. There aren’t Hotel-style services here, but it’s very practical—especially if you spend all day at the beach or swim in the morning, come back to shower and rest for a while, then head out again in the afternoon.

We stayed as a family of five. It was very reasonably priced, yet we were comfortable throughout our 3-night stay! All the staff were very pleasant. Since it was a No Meals Included stay, we didn’t have much interaction, but we felt at ease during our stay. We chose a Multiple Night Stay Plan with no cleaning, but the Room was so clean that it didn’t bother us at all. The bathroom and other water areas were extremely clean. I often notice a bit of mold in Hotel bathrooms, but the bathroom in this Hotel Room was truly spotless and comfortable with no stress. We also liked that the bath and toilet were separate. Because there wasn’t anything unnecessary, it stayed clean and was very comfortable. Although this Plan doesn’t include cleaning, they do take out the trash and replace towels, which was great. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but since we were traveling, it was fun to stroll there. When we visit Osaka again, we’d love to stay here again.

Stayed in a dormitory. The room, bed, and shower room were all clean and well maintained. The lounge with an attached kitchen was spacious and comfortable. The foreign front desk staff were also pleasant and helpful. Affordable rates and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

This was my first stay. First of all, I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and attentive service, always with a warm smile. I didn’t know how to use the projector at first, so thank you for showing me how. The Onsen was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the lukewarm bath—it left my skin feeling silky smooth.

A memorable Hotel where we stayed as a family. We stayed again for the first time in over a decade. The Room seemed to have been renovated, and compared to our previous stay it had a chic, more mature atmosphere. With an ocean view, the sound of the waves and wind and the calls of birds became background music—it was incredibly relaxing. The staff were also friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. We will definitely come back to stay again.

With both dinner and breakfast included, this price is amazing. When I mistakenly went to the main building, I saw a large selection of manga and thought I could borrow them, but it wasn’t possible in the annex. I would have been happy if manga borrowing had been available.

For me, trips are something you remember forever when something unexpected happens. This stay at Masuya Ryokan was just like that. There were several small stories woven between people. It was truly enjoyable, and I’d love to visit again.

Very nice Hotel.

The owner couple are very pleasant, and their attentive service reflects their long experience in hosting. It was disappointing that the TV didn’t support Abema and that the shower was a bit difficult to use. The kitchen was well equipped, so we had no inconvenience. This is a great, affordable condominium with an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji.

Visited by motorcycle. I chose a Room without a bath or toilet, but the large public bath was available from 4:00 PM to 9:00 AM the next day, so it was not inconvenient. The bath was clean and spacious, and I could relax and soak. Motorcycles can be parked under the eaves, so there is no need to worry about getting wet from rain or overnight dew. I would like to stay here again when I come to Ofunato.

I stayed here to watch the Hashi Festival fireworks. The building is old, but everything is clean; the Room is spacious, with well-stocked amenities and Facility, and the Onsen is at a perfect temperature—an Accommodation with nothing to fault. All staff were naturally friendly and kind, and I was especially impressed by the approachable, warm driver of the Shuttle Service. I also stayed in July at a certain Ryokan in Ito that is said to be very popular among Onsen enthusiasts and hard to get a Reservation for, but I definitely preferred this one.

I booked without realizing it was an unmanned property, but they responded promptly via security cameras and provided excellent support.

Thank you for having us. This was our first time staying in a cottage-style Accommodation, and it was spacious, flexible, and very comfortable. We also appreciated the free parking. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the Onsen because it didn’t fit our schedule, but we’d love to try it next time if we have the chance. The Room was clean and nice as well! One small thing: there was dust on the beam above the bed, and since it’s right above your face when you sleep, it bothered us a bit. That was the only issue—otherwise we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

The weather was terrible with a typhoon approaching, but the Hotel staff’s response was excellent. I’ll be back again.

This is my second stay since the end of the year, and it has become one of my favorites. It’s not a new Hotel, but it’s very clean and relaxing. You can see the railway tracks from the room, which might be great for train lovers (I’m one too), though I don’t know which line it is... Amenities are available in front of the front desk. The sweets like ramune candy are a nice touch. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed for two nights while sightseeing in Kamakura! Just as we expected from the Reviews before making our Reservation, the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The Facility itself feels a bit old, but it was very clean and well maintained. It was also convenient being a 2-minute walk from the station. We considered other Hotels, but chose this one for the price, and it turned out to be a great choice. The complimentary tea and snacks were also a nice touch!

If I had to pick the best part, it would definitely be the meals. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The staff member in charge during our meals was courteous and left a great impression. There are also two baths, so we were able to bathe without running into other guests too often.

I visited the forest auberge Mitsu to create memories with my mother, as she had always wanted to go there. The beautiful accommodation, delicious cuisine, and exceptionally kind service made for a truly comfortable and wonderful experience. Thank you so much! The staff were all smiles and provided excellent hospitality (during dinner, they recommended a shop we ended up visiting—Perron’s baguette was absolutely delicious. Thank you!). We felt at ease throughout our stay. The meals were not only flavorful and visually appealing but also healthy dishes that made my body feel happy—this brought me great joy. Living in a traditional house like Mitsu has been a dream of mine, so just staying there was incredibly soothing for my soul! I sincerely hope Mitsu continues on forever! I will visit again. Creating memories with my mother was a huge success!

We stayed as a family and had a wonderful time. The heated pool was especially fantastic, allowing the kids to play without worrying about the weather. We were also very pleased with the BBQ dinner, which required no preparation and could be enjoyed hands-free. The ingredients were delicious, and we had a great time together. We would love to stay again!
