We stay here every year during the Obon holidays. The atmosphere is calm, and everything is thoroughly cleaned, so it feels like coming back home (to my parents’ house). It’s truly relaxing. Thank you again for this year as well. We were able to do everything we had planned, right on schedule. There are popular roadside stations and beaches nearby, so the area gets crowded at this time of year, but Mihama House and its surroundings are very quiet and soothing. We could really unwind from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to staying again next year.

My return from the airport was late, so I stayed at a Hotel about 30 minutes before reaching home. I expected a beautiful, clean Hotel based on the photos, but it was even nicer in person, and the Room was spacious. The breakfast was so delicious that I was truly impressed. The view was great too, and I was happy to find such a hidden-gem Hotel so close by. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet; it was an amazing meal made by the owner—an egg served on top of incredibly delicious bread. I’ll definitely come again!

This was our first time staying in a private rental, and it became a trip where we could truly feel the owner’s kind personality from the warm welcome. It’s unbelievable at other Accommodations that when staying with five people and a dog, the fifth person is free. The Room was clean, and both our family and our dog were able to stay comfortably. When we arrived, there was apple pie and watermelon prepared in the refrigerator—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. Mona, the resident dog—she was so adorable. It turned into a fun family trip where we could really relax. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night from March 19. It was an Accommodation that truly lived up to its high-rated Reviews. The Room was a bit compact, but it had a spacious wood-deck balcony, was thoroughly cleaned, and felt very fresh and relaxing. They also provided a waterproof sheet for our dog, so the bedding was OK. We followed proper etiquette and used a diaper, so we were able to sleep together comfortably. Dinner was BBQ on the large wood deck (honestly like yakiniku from an upscale restaurant). We really enjoyed the wagyu that the owner personally cuts—absolutely delicious. There were also lean wagyu and chicken tenderloin for dogs, and our dog happily ate it all. Vegetables, soup, rice balls, etc. were included as a set, and there are plenty of optional menu items as well. The Onsen can be reserved privately in 1-hour time slots (Reservation required), so you can soak slowly and unwind. From 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM it becomes open access—if it’s available you can use it (all private Onsen use is free). They even have a bathtub for dogs, so your dog can enjoy the Onsen too!! There is of course a dog run, and since this Accommodation hosts only three groups total, we could enjoy it at our own pace. Breakfast was a handmade burger—also outstanding. Options like extra patty or cheese are available! It seems you can also switch to a hot sandwich. Yogurt, onion soup, salad, and your choice of drink were included as well—we were very satisfied. This Accommodation hosts only three groups per day (Sunny), so we could relax fully and enjoy the Onsen—and since our dog isn’t great with other dogs sometimes, it was perfect that everything could be done mostly within our Room area. It was very reasonably priced: delicious meals, wonderful Onsen time, and the best part—being able to stay with our dog all the time. To the owner couple, their adorable son, and Sunny the resident dog—thank you for such a fun and fulfilling trip!! We’ve already made our next Reservation too; I’ll work hard until then while looking forward to coming back.

This was our first stay. The location has great transportation access. There are major supermarkets as well as local grocery stores nearby, so shopping was easy. Above all, the Facility amenities and equipment were excellent, making it a wonderful trip with our dog. We will definitely be back.

The Room was stylish and made me feel a bit like a celebrity. There were several bathing options—a private bath in the Room, an open-air bath in the guest Room, and a reservable private open-air bath—and all of them were exceptionally comfortable. The food and drinks were incredibly delicious, making it a wonderful, fun experience and an absolutely happy feast.

I stayed here with my 3-year-old son, my husband, and my parents! The Room was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, and we had a very comfortable stay. The food was brought out freshly made, and the variety, taste, and presentation were all perfect—we were truly impressed!! Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind, and I was happy to chat with you so much! Also, I’m truly sorry for the trouble we caused right at the very end... We’ll definitely be back again next year!!!

This was our second overnight trip with our dog, and our first time staying at an Accommodation with a dog run. The goal of this trip was to find a way to travel without putting any strain on our dog, and I feel we found one answer here. It was a very satisfying experience. Our dog tends to hold in pee and poop when we travel, but here, being able to touch the pleasant grass at all times helped him relieve himself as he normally does at home. He’s also a timid dog who tends to keep his distance from strangers and other dogs, but the calm nature of the owner and Rani-chan and the others really helped him relax. In addition to how well maintained the lawn felt, we could sense thoughtful consideration for dogs in many details—such as the sliding entrance door, ramps, cute bowls, and even a night-time dog run. For us humans as well, the Room was just the right size, and we found everything very comfortable—the service during meals (we really appreciated being able to use the dining area), and how dishes were served quietly and considerately. One very small suggestion: it might be nice if there were a hook near the entrance for locking up keys. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Although it was a nearby trip, it was my first time traveling with my parents since becoming an adult. Unfortunately, a typhoon the day before forced us to change various plans, but we truly enjoyed the many colorful dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. My elderly parents, who usually eat small portions, kept saying they couldn’t possibly eat that much, yet they finished almost everything. The Room was compact but clean and comfortable. The staff were also very pleasant, and we had a relaxing short getaway. After such a generous dinner, we were told there would even be inari sushi as a late-night snack. We couldn’t resist and asked for some—and it was delicious. Even while saying we were already full, we ended up eating it all (laugh). One thing: until around 3 a.m., I noticed a low sound—possibly from the boiler?—that echoed and made it hard to sleep for a bit. Since it was only one night, it wasn’t too much of an issue.

The property has been beautifully renovated, and we had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed for two nights in mid-October with three generations of our family and our beloved dog, and we had a very comfortable stay in the spacious room. The cleanliness was exceptional, making it hard to believe it was a pet-friendly accommodation. The large living room and kitchen allowed us to enjoy cooking together as a family. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cookware and tableware, so we had everything we needed. (We bought ingredients for dinner at a nearby supermarket.) The separate toilet and bathroom made it convenient for everyone to use without any hassle. It was also helpful that basic dog supplies like a cage and pet sheets were provided. Although pets were not allowed in the bedrooms, our dog relaxed comfortably in the living area. The location right in front of the slopes (Happo-One Ski Resort) was perfect for walking our dog, especially during early morning strolls which were incredibly refreshing. It was also easy to drive to Kurobishi-daira, where we enjoyed stunning autumn foliage—this year seemed to be an excellent year for fall colors! We would love to visit again during summer when the greenery is lush. Traveling with three generations of family members—and especially with a pet—can make choosing accommodations challenging, but this place exceeded all expectations. It's highly recommended for families traveling with small children (grandchildren), as you can relax comfortably in your room while enjoying quality time together!

I travel somewhere every month, and this was an accommodation I would love to stay at again. Thanks to this place, I had a wonderful trip, and I would like to express my gratitude here. Highlights: - Convenient location for sightseeing in Beppu Onsen using only public transportation. - They kindly stored my luggage before check-in. - The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The amenities in the room were practical and well-thought-out without any unnecessary items. Attention to detail was evident—non-slip tabi socks were a nice touch! - The bedding felt great on the skin; the comforter was light yet warm, allowing me to sleep soundly. Points that might feel inconvenient for some: The private open-air bath attached to the room has high-temperature spring water, so you need to add cold water yourself. It took about 3 minutes to adjust it to a comfortable temperature, so I recommend checking the bath temperature before taking a shower. Personally, I enjoyed being able to set it just right for myself and had a relaxing soak. No negative points come to mind. Two regrets: I couldn’t eat the welcome sweets or the pudding sold there because I was too full!

On Nokonoshima, we took a free bus to the beach and enjoyed swimming. Afterward, we told the reception that we were staying at Villa Sakimori, and they provided a free Shuttle Service for us. They also answered our questions by email in advance, so we felt comfortable using the service on the day. The Room was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the service was pleasant, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. However, since it is surrounded by nature, those who dislike insects should be aware.

We stayed in the Bridge Building, and it was an excellent Accommodation with abundant nature, well-equipped Facilities, and a spacious, clean bathroom. In the Front Building, there was complimentary ice cream as well as free-to-borrow cooking oil and seasonings. The staff were very friendly—when it was raining at check-in, they brought an umbrella out to our car, and at check-out several of them waved us off. It’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

This was my first time staying here, and the Facility was well equipped, so I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to forget about work and relax while watching the sunset and sunrise, and I truly felt refreshed. I was also impressed by the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea as seen from the cabin. I’ve been to various glamping sites, but so far this is the best. The only reason I deducted one point is that the shower area in the bathroom is a bit small. Next time, I’d like to try a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

The road to the Facility is a mountain road, and I was worried whether I was on the right track, but they kindly guided me over the phone. When we arrived, I was amazed by how beautiful the scenery was. The food was delicious, and everyone at the Facility was kind and attentive—an outstanding experience. They even took some great photo-worthy pictures for us, and my girlfriend and I made wonderful memories. I’d love to stay here again on a special occasion, so I look forward to coming back. The place was very spacious, and the kids could relax and play freely. It’s an older house, but it was thoroughly cleaned—everything was spotless, comfortable, and pleasant. The amenities were well stocked, and I was surprised they even had phone chargers. There were lots of board games, which the kids absolutely loved. Because it’s a large house, it felt chilly in the mornings and evenings, but a fan heater was provided so we had no trouble. The kitchen had everything from cooking utensils to tableware, and we could use the drum-style washing machine as much as we wanted (detergent provided). It was an Accommodation with truly thoughtful touches throughout. We’d love to stay again.

This was our third stay. Once again, both our dog and we were very satisfied. The owner is friendly, and you can really feel their love for dogs. Our dog happily ran around, got completely worn out in the pool, and slept soundly at night zzz. We enjoyed plenty of delicious food, ended up completely full, and slept soundly too zzz. (Everything is tasty, but we especially loved the breakfast and the soup.) This Accommodation is highly recommended for first-time stays with a dog or for families. Next time, we’d like to come with my parents.

Although the building is old, the interior has been thoughtfully renovated and is very comfortable! We stayed as a family of four, and both the bathroom and toilet were spotless, and the futons were fluffy! Since it’s right in front of the station, getting out and about was easy—we were really happy. The parking lot is also spacious. We come to Kazuno City every year, so we’ll stay here again.
