I stayed here on a business trip, and I was satisfied with how comfortable it was, with new Facilities. The breakfast was delicious for me as well, and it is very convenient because it is close to the station. Thank you.

I had a comfortable stay. The facility was very clean, and it was a hotel I would like to stay at again.

I visited Takayama for sightseeing. For my Accommodation, I booked the Kuretake Hotel through a Reservation site. There was an issue with the number of guests on the Reservation, but they handled it quickly and it was very helpful. The Facility was clean, and having an Onsen was great. I would like to stay here again.

About a week ago, I found this place on IKYU. Within the same budget range, this Hotel had by far the most spacious Room, and I chose it because the breakfast-included Plan is rare in that breakfast can be delivered to your Room. After checking in and arriving at my Room, it was indeed generously sized; the toilet was separate, and the bathroom had a washing area. The black-toned interior felt luxurious, and the amenities were well stocked—I really liked it. It’s a bit of a walk from the nearest station, so carrying my suitcase in the extreme heat was tiring, but it was a Hotel that made me want to stay again in Kyoto, which I love.

I booked the “Room-assigned” Plan and stayed in the main building this time. The Plan description seemed to say non-smoking, but I was surprised because the Room smelled strongly of cigarettes. I should have asked about changing Rooms, but I was short on time because someone was waiting for me, and since I had already used the toilet, I didn’t bring it up. I got used to the smell quickly, so it was fine. The Facilities in the main building are a bit old, but both the Room and bathroom were very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff member was polite and pleasant. Overall, there are far more good points here, so it’s a great place. I’ll be back again soon. Thank you very much.

The Hotel was in a great location, well-equipped with excellent Facilities, and reasonably priced—I'd definitely like to stay again. The welcome drink was also much appreciated. True to its name, it was a Hotel I could genuinely say “thank you” to.

As this building is a renovated former Ryokan, sound insulation is limited and you may hear noise from neighboring Rooms or the shared hallway. However, the in-room amenities have been updated, and the shower water pressure was stronger than at typical Hotels—no issues at all. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, and we enjoyed freshly grilled fish that changed daily. More than anything, the male staff were wonderful—thoughtful in every detail, from nearby sightseeing recommendations to dining suggestions and even checking on the air conditioning in the breakfast venue. After checkout, since we had time before the bus to Karatsu Station, they kindly told us we were welcome to wait inside. We also had a pleasant chat with the owner, and time flew by. There are impressive Hotels nearby such as Mercure and Seaside, but if you want to relax while looking out over the river, Karatsu Castle Hotel is highly recommended. It was a great Accommodation that made us want to stay again when visiting Karatsu. Thank you very much.

A new building with free parking. Located right next to the station in a charming countryside area. It's surprising to find a Hotel in such a place. There’s a supermarket and McDonald's nearby, and I enjoyed buying local food to relax and eat in the Room. The Plan was No Meals Included, but breakfast was available for 600 yen, so I opted for it. The portions were generous and satisfying. A great Hotel overall!

It was a Japanese-style Room. It was larger than expected, which made us happy. We had a lot of luggage for the kids, so the spacious Room was very helpful. Everyone was very kind, and the service was polite and excellent. Breakfast was delicious as well. The staff spoke kindly to the kids there too, and they were delighted. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff were pleasant, and I had a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the complimentary hot coffee service.

I stayed here after a concert at Kumamoto Castle Hall, so I didn’t use the meals or the large public bath at the affiliated Hotel across the street. It was close to the venue, so I didn’t have to walk far and didn’t end up sweating much. I also recommend it for fans traveling for their favorite artists. The woman who handled check-in was kind and welcoming, which made a great impression. I chose this Accommodation based on the distance shown on the map, and I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

I stayed here the night before hiking Mt. Tsurugi the next day. I went to the hospital in the morning and headed to the Accommodation after lunch, but I thought I might be late and called them. They told me to put safety first and come whenever I could. The atmosphere was great, and they even prepared breakfast as a boxed meal to suit my schedule. It was delicious. I’d like to stay here again when I hike Mt. Tsurugi, and next time I’d like to add dinner as well.

We stayed as a family. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, which made us feel at ease. For parking, we unloaded our luggage in the lot across from the Hotel and left the car key at the front desk. There are many izakaya nearby, so finding dinner wasn’t a problem, but it was so crowded that you may not get into popular places without a Reservation. If we have the chance, we would like to stay again.

I’ve stayed here about 100 nights since last year and have really liked it, but this was the first time I truly felt the downside of having no front desk. The air conditioner remote’s batteries were dead, and the batteries had an expiration date of 2024. At night, it wouldn’t turn on. When I swapped in the TV remote’s batteries, it worked. I told the housekeeping staff the next day; they didn’t seem to have spare batteries, so they replaced the remote with one from another room.

Thank you for sincerely addressing our requests. It was incredibly helpful. The Room was compact but very comfortable. The convenience was excellent, and I would love to stay again.

I stayed for two nights while hiking Kuju. Both the dinner and the Onsen were excellent. After coming back exhausted from the hike, you can soak in the Onsen right away. There are no shops open at night in the area, so having dinner included is a big help. However, it’s very generous, so some people may find it a bit too much. The hospitality was also wonderful. I would love to stay again.

The building, Room, and Facility, including the water facilities, were very clean as it has only been a few years since opening. We enjoyed the curry (hashed beef rice) service during dinner; it was very delicious. The amenities and items available for rental at the front desk (such as shoe dryers) were excellent. Conveniently located near Gotemba Interchange, and the staff at both the front desk and restaurant were all kind. We would love to stay here again!

Traveling with a stroller for the Kansai Expo, we booked a last-minute Hotel. It was a bit of a walk from the nearest station, but the Room was compact, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast included delicious croissants, which we were kindly allowed to have earlier than usual. The luggage delivery service was also handled smoothly, which was very helpful. Many thanks to the staff for their excellent service!

There were several bathtubs, and the open-air bath was especially relaxing. At dinner, we enjoyed Echizen grated soba, and the sweetfish tempura—leaving a slight bitterness of the innards—felt perfect for early summer. For dessert, we were even served delicious Fukuian Marseille melon. Breakfast also featured a variety of Fukui specialties and was very enjoyable, and the milk pudding dessert had a refreshing finish. At breakfast, milk, apple juice, iced coffee, hot coffee, and more were available to drink freely. Natto, nori seaweed sheets, and furikake were offered on an “only take what you want” basis. Since some people don’t eat these depending on their preferences—and at other places I’ve wondered what happens when individually wrapped items are served but left untouched—I thought this was a great way to avoid waste. I didn’t need them because there were plenty of side dishes to go with two bowls of white rice. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

Whenever I stayed overnight in Takayama for work, I always chose this Hotel. This time, as the organizer of a class reunion planned for next year, I stayed here in advance to do some research. The Miyagawa Morning Market is just across the river, the old town is only a short walk away, and walking to Takayama Station is easy as well—so I think the access and location are excellent in every way. The main street with plenty of bars is also nearby, making it an ideal spot for someone like me who enjoys drinking. I was very satisfied with the Facility, breakfast, and parking included. I would definitely stay again.
