At the end of the year, I stayed with my elderly parents. Since my mother needed a walker, I was a bit worried due to the lack of barrier-free information in the facility, but prioritized having a private bath and an onsen in the room due to the influenza outbreak. As a result, although the property was not barrier-free, the staff provided such considerate care that it was a very pleasant stay. The parking lot is several tens of meters away, but they offered valet parking for my mother and assisted us in areas with steps. The quality of the onsen was excellent, and our family felt warm and cozy. Although the building is old, it has been renovated and was thoroughly cleaned.

I stayed with my mother. The view of the Kuma River from the Room was wonderful, and we spent some time just enjoying it. We thoroughly enjoyed the ayu sashimi, salt-grilled ayu, and other dishes. Everything was delicious. It was also my first time trying dried-and-grilled ayu at breakfast. Along with the Ryokan itself, the baths had a sense of history, and the quality of the hot spring water was excellent. Next time, I hope to visit with my wife and children as well. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I imagine there may be impacts from the earthquake (such as cancellations), but I wish all of your staff good health and all the best.

I had a zazen meditation experience and tried shakyo (Buddhist sutra copying). It was very relaxing. The zazen session was mainly for international guests, but I still enjoyed it and found it a great experience. They kindly mailed me the shakyo materials they had forgotten to give me, along with a letter—thank you very much. I was able to relax at such a thoughtful Accommodation. I also received a leaflet map of the temple district, but I didn’t have enough time to visit many temples, so next time I’d like to set aside more time for that as well.

We also welcomed international guests! It was awesome!

Overall, it was excellent.

Enjoy unlimited views of Nankai Electric Railway trains from a guest room built inside the station building. That said, trains are less frequent than in the city, so it’s quiet. There’s nothing around the station, and it’s also separated from the other guest room, ensuring peace and silence. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Please bring your own food and drinks.

This was my first stay, and I chose it after checking the website in advance and looking at other sites, but it exceeded my expectations. The Facility was wonderful and the location was perfect! There are no other Accommodations nearby, so it’s a very quiet environment. The beach is just a short walk away, and I had three relaxing days. I would definitely stay again next time! That’s all! We stayed for a one-night, two-day trip with my parents and our beloved dog, Coco. This was our second stay, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed by the comfort and luxurious private atmosphere. Since it’s a fully private rental, we could relax as a family without worrying about others around us. The interior was very clean, with stylish and user-friendly appliances and kitchenware. The Facility also provided thoughtful amenities for guests with dogs, which was incredibly helpful. The spacious and chic villa made the entire stay feel truly special. Coco tried swimming in the pool for the first time! Seeing her happily swim brought smiles to all of our faces. In the evening, we enjoyed a BBQ with fresh meat and seafood—my parents were thrilled and said they’d love to come back again! It became an unforgettable trip filled with wonderful memories. For those looking to enjoy luxurious yet free-spirited moments with their dogs, I highly recommend this place. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

It was a very clean, spotless Room with none of the musty odor often found on shower curtains. The bed was very comfortable, and I have stayed here many times.

I made a Reservation under the same conditions as last year, but this time the Room was slightly smaller and felt a bit cramped. Also, I noticed a cigarette smell in the elevator. Otherwise, my stay was generally comfortable, and the bed and bedding were especially pleasant. Considering the price, I think it offers great value for money. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our family of three stayed in connecting Rooms with two Rooms linked by a door. With plenty of space and two toilets, we were able to relax comfortably. The ski resort is nearby, and you can walk to the restaurant area at Roadside Station Arai. The only downside is that there is only one large Onsen bath, with alternating hours for men and women, so you can’t use it at your preferred time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This Hotel offers great value for money and comes highly recommended.

I stayed for one night starting February 22. The two male staff members at the front desk were very kind and courteous, and they carefully explained the amenities, complimentary drinks, and loungewear. They also showed me how to use the Hotel facilities, which made me even more excited to stay here. The Room was a bit small, but it was thoroughly cleaned and perfectly comfortable. The bath area was compact as well, but it was well maintained. They placed hinoki wood in the tub, and the soothing scent filled the space. Breakfast the next morning included salad and was very healthy, delicious, and filling. The pillow in my Room was quite firm, so I used a lower pillow available at the front desk. It was very comfortable to sleep on. My husband said he preferred the standard pillow provided. Overall, I was completely satisfied with this Hotel.

This was a business trip. I was greeted and seen off with a smile every day, which always made it pleasant to start work. Thank you.

I stayed here for the Shizuoka Marathon. Since it was the event day, the room rate was fairly high, but they offered luggage storage and complimentary bottled water for marathon participants, which was very thoughtful. I had a comfortable stay.

Everything felt thoughtfully cared for, down to the smallest details. The interior is lovely and relaxing. The loaner bicycles were very helpful for shopping trips. It’s conveniently located near both the remote island terminal and the bus terminal, making it easy to get around.

This is my favorite Accommodation, and I have stayed here several times. Because it’s a detached log cabin, you can relax in nature without worrying about others. Outside the windows is lush greenery, and taking a bath while listening to birdsong is truly soothing. The meals are delicious every time, and all the staff are kind—an Accommodation where you feel right at home. With Shuttle Service available, it’s easy to get there even by train, and it’s an Accommodation I want to visit again and again. I’ll be back in a different season. Thank you very much.

The amenities were well stocked, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. I stayed for 3 nights on a no-cleaning Plan, but towels and other linens were properly replaced, so it was very comfortable!

I’ve stayed at many well-known Accommodations, and this one stood out for its small, carefully selected team. The staff were efficient and treated us with genuine courtesy, which I truly appreciated. Summer flowers were blooming in front of the Room, and it was beautiful—really lovely. The bath was very comfortable, with the water temperature just right. I can’t get into overly hot baths, so that was perfect for me. Also, although I didn’t use it myself, there was a caregiving bath chair provided in the bath area. It felt like an Onsen Accommodation well suited for elderly guests as well. It’s also relatively close to central Tokyo, making it a place you’ll want to return to. On the way back from the Hotel, there was a local deli where we could buy very fresh vegetables and more—another nice bonus.

We stayed at Horizon and used the indoor pool and buffet, and everything was excellent. The view from our Room was beautiful, and we were truly moved by the sunrise over the ocean. The location is great, so the views from outside the Room were also stunning, and the interior design of the building was lovely—it was fun taking photos throughout. The Accommodation is spacious, so getting around took a bit of effort, but there were welcome drinks and other events along the way, which made moving around enjoyable. The food was delicious, with a great selection of kids’ options as well, so our whole family had a wonderful time.

This is my favorite Accommodation, where you can enjoy a large bath and delicious meals at a reasonable price (I especially love Matsunoi’s Chinese cuisine). This time, I made a Reservation because my elderly father wanted to visit with his siblings, and he came home completely satisfied. Even after the renovation, I hope Matsunoi will keep what makes it special and that we can still enjoy the same delicious shrimp in chili sauce.
