Time seems to slow down during your stay, making it a soothing and relaxing place. A small number of Rooms are scattered throughout a spacious forest, letting you escape the noise of everyday life. The staff also speak in a calm, unhurried manner, which creates a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The Room is exceptionally well equipped, with an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a sauna, and even a footbath area. The meals are also excellent—among the best I have experienced at any Accommodation. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Nanzenji Sando Kikusui is a special place filled with everything we love, and staying here becomes a happy time to share it all with family. A beautiful Kyoto garden in fresh spring green, exquisite cuisine and wine, welcome Champagne, luxurious Rooms, and the staff’s hospitality—plus the one-of-a-kind location on Nanzenji Sando. Few Accommodations offer all of this. This time, we woke up early to join the dawn zazen session at Nanzen-ji Temple, which became an unforgettable experience. It is worth traveling here even if it means taking a flight just to visit.

This was our second stay at Seven Colors, following last year. After our stay last year, we didn’t hesitate to choose it again this year because everything was outstanding—the views, the baths, the food, and above all the wonderful hospitality from the staff. This time was just as fantastic. Due to a typhoon approaching and JAL’s special arrangements, we had to cancel one night, but you kindly processed a refund. I truly appreciate your excellent handling of the situation. Thank you very much. The views are amazing, and I especially love breakfast—absolutely my favorite. Thank you as well for accommodating takeout so we could head to the beach; both the portion size and taste were excellent. We’ll be back for two nights in October. We’re also planning another visit in November. Highly recommended.

We arrived before check-in, but we were kindly shown to our Room. The Room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities and seasonings. After check-out, we were given a ride to the station by car, which was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

The dog run is very spacious and pleasant. As soon as we arrived, my dog happily ran around, and I felt glad to have chosen this accommodation. It's an environment where dogs can relax freely, which naturally puts owners at ease as well. The traditional Japanese house has a calm atmosphere, allowing for a very peaceful stay. We enjoyed experiences like making miso and koji, as well as roasting rice crackers over the irori hearth—much more fun than expected! Roasting rice crackers over the irori was surprisingly challenging; adjusting the heat while slowly roasting them was a fresh experience. However, the rice crackers I made myself were far more delicious than I imagined. For dinner, we had an irori kaiseki meal prepared by the staff while we relaxed by watching the fire—a leisurely dining experience without any rush that allowed us to savor every bite. At night, we spent time by the bonfire without doing much of anything in particular. Just watching my dog relax nearby filled me with contentment. This is an accommodation that naturally makes you think, "I want to come back again."

We had a truly fulfilling and enjoyable stay here. Six of us stayed together, including our children and their spouses. From the pre-departure emails to the on-site guidance, everything was very clear, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. The Facility was also kept very clean and well maintained, and we were completely satisfied in every way. We bought ingredients at a nearby supermarket and had a barbecue for the first time, which was great fun. Even though it was late May, we were able to use the pool, and the rock bath accessible from the poolside was also very comfortable. One night went by in no time—we definitely want to come back for two nights next time!

With its high ceilings, the space felt open and truly luxurious. Both the bath and sauna were spacious, allowing you to relax at your own pace. The sauna also offers self-service löyly, so it heats up properly—an authentic setup that even sauna enthusiasts will be satisfied with. It was also impressive how the concept was consistently carried through to the smallest details, from pajamas and cooking utensils to lighting, reflecting the owner’s careful attention. From the large windows, we enjoyed panoramic views of lush greenery and Mt. Omuro, which were soothing both in the morning and at sunset. For breakfast, we grilled dried fish ourselves; it felt special in a way that’s different from a Ryokan experience, and it was delicious. The space, Facility offerings, and views were all outstanding—an Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season.

We stayed in the penthouse for two nights as a family. It was a stylish Hotel, and the Room was clean, so we could relax and enjoy our time. The breakfast hot dogs and coffee were delicious. All of the staff were kind and helpful. We also appreciated having a water dispenser. Thanks to that, we really enjoyed sightseeing in Hiroshima and made wonderful memories. If we visit Hiroshima again, we would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for my second night on a solo trip. Tucked away down a small path, it was so quiet—no traffic noise, just birds and insects. There were even cute little frogs on the terrace, which felt wonderful for someone who loves wildlife. The grounds are beautifully planted with lots of greenery, and the Room was extremely clean. The meals used ingredients harvested on the property and were outstanding—carefully prepared and delicate, yet warmly home-style at the same time. After the delicious dinner, they prepared a beautiful open-air bath for me, and I slept like a log until right before breakfast time. The owner couple were also very kind, sharing details about the ingredients, the plants on the property, and recommended spots to visit. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation filled with their care in every aspect—from the Room to the food to all Facilities. It’s an Accommodation I’ll definitely want to return to. I stayed here during a 3-night, 4-day Tohoku touring trip. The property is a bit old, but it was clean and the Room was spacious. The laundry was free, and only the detergent was paid, which was very helpful. Since there are places I couldn’t visit due to the rain, I’d like to stop by again.

I used this property when traveling from Hyogo to Kanagawa. Since it is near the Kasai Interchange, I took a break at R9 before departing late at night. Check-in is easy, and you can check out easily and be on your way. It seemed new and was very clean. I had a very positive impression. I thought it would be nice to have USB ports, etc. The front desk staff were also kind and attentive.

This Hotel offers excellent value for money, and the service was great.

We use this property when visiting the nearby golf courses. We stop by after a round, and having an on-site laundry is very convenient for washing our golf wear. Above all, the clean, well-maintained interior and the air-conditioned Room are excellent. The light snacks provided are also consistently delicious no matter what you choose. This Facility is the perfect fit for our travel routine.

This is an ideal Hotel for families with children. We stayed as a parent and child, and it was a trip of nonstop play and plenty of drinks. It rained heavily that day, so we only played indoors. Even so, there was more than enough to do, and our child was completely satisfied. Parents can also relax with a drink in hand while watching their kids play, making it a special getaway for adults as well. Above all, the dedication of the Hotel staff was truly moving. Their care for children felt so professional that it could have been a daycare center. It’s common to see a cake brought out at dinner for a child’s birthday, but this Hotel goes beyond that. I won’t share details to avoid spoilers, but the performance despite the rain became an unforgettable experience. The event starting at 9:00 PM also surprised us with its creative, child-participation format. Parents were exhausted by then, but seeing our child’s happy smile—and the staff’s thoughtful production—made us feel happy too. One challenge was that there is no large public bath. There are only two private baths indoors and two outdoors, so it becomes very competitive. Since you can’t make a Reservation and can only enter if one is available, we managed to use one once by luck but couldn’t find any availability after that. The outdoor open-air baths were difficult in the rain because you have to walk there with an umbrella, so we gave up. Also disappointing was that the Shuttle Service pick-up point at Ito Station has no roof. We waited in the rain, and when a bus finally arrived it turned out to be for another affiliated property—overall it was hard to understand. The price range felt on the higher side, but considering how happy our child was and how devoted the staff service is, overall satisfaction felt high. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

It was the best Hotel we’ve found, especially since there are so few Hotels that allow pets. The Room was spacious, the dog run Facility was excellent, and there was no pet odor at all—my dog seemed truly happy. The dog run combines natural grass and artificial turf, making it gentle on dogs’ paws. On top of that, the accommodation cost was affordable and breakfast was free—an outstanding Hotel in every way.

Thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful time. Ahead of my daughter’s overseas trip, we stayed here before her departure. This was our second stay, and once again we were able to spend a very comfortable time. As my birthday was coming up, when we entered the Room there was an adorable towel cake and a gift of sweets prepared for us. I was truly moved by the unexpected, heartwarming surprise. Taking photos with my daughter around the towel cake also became one of the lovely memories of this trip. Through your thoughtful, understated kindness, we could really feel your warm hospitality toward us as guests, and it made us very happy. Once again we had a pleasant stay, and it reaffirmed that choosing this Hotel was the right decision. I sincerely appreciate the attentive care shown by all the staff. We would love to stay again.

With its convenient location near the station and direct access via an underground passage, it was very easy to get around without getting wet even on rainy days. From the 7th-floor lobby, we could see the area around the station and distant mountain ranges, and the view was excellent. In the lobby, hot coffee and an apple vinegar drink were available at all times, and it was also very convenient that each floor had ice and a water dispenser. What impressed me most was breakfast. The Hokkaido-style seafood rice bowl came with both steamed rice and sushi rice options, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy everything you’d hope for in Hokkaido at once—soft-serve ice cream, stir-fried jingisukan (grilled mutton), soup curry, and more. The dining staff were attentive as well, so there was none of the stress that can come with buffet-style dining; they made the trip feel even more special. The guest room had a combined bath-and-toilet unit bathroom without a separate washing area, but it was relatively spacious and I didn’t find it inconvenient. I previously stayed at another Hotel in this group in Tamachi, and I feel this group’s strengths are guest-focused service and breakfasts that exceed expectations. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

From the warm welcome at the front desk during check-in to the friendly greetings and conversations from the breakfast staff, everyone was kind and made our stay very pleasant.

Everything was great except that the Room was so hot I could barely sleep. There was a fan in the Room, so I should have turned it on, but I couldn’t be bothered to get up, plug it in, and switch it on, so I just endured it until morning. After taking a bath in the evening, I enjoyed 4 of the 12 kinds of complimentary shochu in the lounge. Then live music started as well, and it was such a lovely time relaxing on a comfortable sofa. For the shochu, ice, cold water, and hot water are provided, so you can drink it however you like. As is often the case with buffets, it was quite crowded at mealtime, but there were also Kagoshima local dishes, which made it fun.
